Our sub-division was hit by a hail storm in early March and we had numerous roofing companies invade our sub-division the morning after. We ended up with two roofing companies inspecting our roof and provide a quote for replacement. DHI was one of the companies and we ended up selecting DHI Roofing even though they were slightly higher than the other company. Hank Bartee with DHI was the gentlemen we worked with and he was courteous and professional. He was on the project site numerous times the day the roof was installed. When the project was completed and cleaned up you would never know that the roofers were even here! Hank was always making sure that the crew delivered what he had promised. Terrible company they do not hire professionals. They hire people who do not clean up properly nor do they respect nearby neighbors yards or property. On top of this, we had them do our home about 9 years ago or so and when they did, they caused damage to our siding and rails on porch and deck. This was thousands of dollars worth of damage. They sent some contractor to repair the damage and he wasn't that great either. Our neighbors also had their roof done and also received damage on there house. They most recently used them again, well this time they had trash all over my yard and even killed my grass on my yard. I was told by someone from DHI that they would use a magnet to pick up any nails that was leftover including on my yard. That was not the case. I used mine and found a bunch. This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever seen for roofing. They lie and deceive. read more

My insurance man was concerned even to this day because I just now told him that I was scammed by DHI roofing company of course James coward out and had his secretary to call me thinking that they were going to get a payout my insurance that I had once before is closed down at first you couldn't find my information about all of a sudden James the manager had her to call me oh we found your paperwork we did this we did that no you didn't because habitat came by a year later and did my sighting she was very shocked so apparently they thought they was going to get some more money. But anyway it's long overdue I should have had said something back then looking at the reviews that they have scammed a lot of people did sloppy work or the work was never even finished. Don't hire these people. They are scammers especially the ones here in Omaha Nebraska someone said their business is closed down but I will not hire them. read more

We had our roof replaced by this company. We were promised that the site manager would be there the whole time making sure our landscaping and new windows were protected. Well, he was a no show and a large crew showed up for demolition and did not take one precaution to protect anything on our property. Our landscaping bushes and plants were ruined, our fountain was broken, our window sills were dented and screens ripped, siding and faucets damaged. The crew did not care it was our home. One of them even urinated in the dumpster in our driveway which leaked out. So far, they are trying not to own up to it and sent the site manager out to collect the first half of the insurance payment. We are beyond sickened with the lack of care for our home. read more

Krystal is fantastic!!! DHI was not the first company I had look at my roof after the storms in 2025. My roof was obviously damaged but nobody would chase the claim when they heard who I had insurance through. A friend recommended Krystal and she looked at my roof and said she would fight for me until there was no more fight or we won. That's exactly what she did. She fought from every angle day after day and we finally won. She then made sure my roof was done right and even got new guttering paid for because of damage and made sure that was done right. If she is the face of DHI and their business practices, then I give them 5 stars. Thank you Krystal for fighting for me when nobody else would!!! read more

BUYER BEWARE! This company only wants to fleece you of your insurance payments. The original estimate was $14k, but because my insurance company paid more ($17k), they believe they are entitled to the difference. It's a roof--the dimensions didn't change, and there were no unforeseen circumstances. They couldn't even provide a proper explanation, only that the insurance company approved a higher amount. To make matters worse, the Managing Partner, Mark, threatened to send me to collections before I had even received payment from my insurance. Avoid this company at all costs! read more

April 16, 2025 UPDATE: We used DHI for a second roofing project at our new home, but unfortunately, our experience this time around was disappointing. We reached out to Luigi again and, during our initial conversations, made it clear that we were also looking for advertising sponsors for our business. He agreed to be a sponsor--especially since this was the second roof we were hiring them for in under two years, and we had also referred others to them. The roof itself was completed in a day, as promised. However, unlike the previous job, there was no project manager on site. They left behind nails, debris, and a box that we ended up having to clean up ourselves. The bigger issue, though, was the lack of follow-through on their sponsorship commitment. When we followed up with Luigi, he would go weeks without responding. When he finally did, he acted as if he had never agreed to the sponsorship (blaming on his boss), despite us clearly discussing it at the start of the project. Eventually, when I mentioned I would be updating our Google review, he became upset and said the issue had nothing to do with their craftsmanship. But this wasn't about the workmanship--it was about customer service and ethics. Unfortunately, based on this second experience, it feels like DHI is willing to say what's needed to land the job but doesn't honor their word once the work is completed. Tim Fleenor came Highly! recommended by my Aunt after he helped her get her roof re-done after a nasty storm. After a bad storm, I saw multiple neighbors getting new roofs & I decided to follow up on my Aunt's referral. I called DHI & requested Tim and he has been a God-send throughout the whole process of getting my roof re-done! He is always polite, patient & courteous! He worked w/ my schedule; he took the time to show me pics of the damage on the roof & house; & he walked me through the claim process w/ State Farm! I'd never made a home owners insurance claim before & was so confused by the process but Tim helped me step by step & made it easy!! He was uber essential/helpful when the State Farm man came out to do his inspection for the claim! If you are worried about your insurance deductible: Tim can help! Julius Wells and DHI Roofing were absolutely amazing to work with! Julius knocked on my door and offered to assess my roof post a series of storms in the area. From the first knock on the door Julius was kind, cognizant of my time, informative, and communicated extremely well. He took care of handling insurance 'stuff' and explained what I did not understand (which was most of it!). My home was built in 1958 and has exposed rafter tails. This is a really awesome architectural feature, but a royal pain in the you know what for roofing and gutters! During the process of taking off the old gutters, the eave of the house was damaged. That damage was compounded by the initial gutter sub-contractor. The eave is made up of 5/8" x 6" tongue and groove boards laid on top of those exposed rafter tails. It was really important for aesthetics and for weather protection that this be repaired. Julius got a crew of people together to figure out a solution. He had the Assistant GM of DHI, Shiloh Hoggard, the roofing crew, and a new gutter sub-contractor to the house. Together this group reviewed the damage to the eaves and the structure of the house. They came up with a plan to get the damage repaired. Understand that they had ALREADY put on a new rood and new gutters!!! To fix this damage ALL of the NEW gutters came down, along with the first 12 inches or so of NEW roofing materials all the way down to those rafter tails! Y'all....this is HUGE! The level of effort that Julius, Shiloh, and DHI went to get this job done correctly has completely exceeded my expectations...it's over the top! The roof and gutters look fantastic! Some contractors would be difficult to get in touch with if there was an issue or damage to property. Not with Julius and DHI...if I called or sent a text, he replied immediately. He contacted me regularly just to let me know that he hadn't forgotten me and what he was working on. I simply cannot say enough fabulous things about this group!
