We looked at the polymer siding versus the wood, vinyl, and aluminum products on the market. We read customer review after customer review to learn about products, installation methods, and overall company perceptions. When we were done, there was really only one choice, and that was Continental Siding. The polymer siding from Continental is truly a premier product, that is made to stand up to our Midwestern weather. More than anything else though, their installation techniques are what differentiates them from everyone else. From an additional home wrap, to the insulation layer and even the tracks that helps fasten the panels to the home, each step is very well thought out and executed. We were able to watch it happen, and the installation was fantastic! We do not normally do reviews but felt this one was important. You may find less expensive products and installations out there, but in our opinion, you will not find anything better. We could not recommend anyone more highly than we do Continental Siding.

Currently they are non-responsive. The roof replacement went well. Gutter replacement was okay. Siding replacement has been a nightmare. The first crew did such a horrid job that DHI had to tear the siding off and install it again. The second crew put a nail through electrical wiring that knocked out power to our internet box. When I turned on my air conditioning I found that they likely also put a nail into my in-wall coolant line which I am having repaired next week for nearly $4000. I cannot confirm until they rip it out to the wall, but a small hole I cut in the wall had a new nail just an inch from the line (and nowhere near a stud where it should be). I reached out to my project manager, Casey Jolley, 3 days ago and no reply. I reached out to his manager, Manny Santos, also and no reply. I called the main office this morning and they could not put me through to anyone I could discuss the issue with. They promised me 6 to 7 weeks ago that the garage doors would be replaced in 3 weeks. Nothing. Not a word from them. Other minor repairs that could have been completed in the past year are still not done.

On top of this, we had them do our home about 9 years ago or so and when they did, they caused damage to our siding and rails on porch and deck. This was thousands of dollars worth of damage. They sent some contractor to repair the damage and he wasn't that great either. Our neighbors also had their roof done and also received damage on there house. They most recently used them again, well this time they had trash all over my yard and even killed my grass on my yard. I was told by someone from DHI that they would use a magnet to pick up any nails that was leftover including on my yard. That was not the case. I used mine and found a bunch. This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever seen for roofing. They lie and deceive.

Michael is the exact opposite of the nightmare I had just gone through. Michael is professional, easy to communicate with, he does what he says he's going to do and then some, he shows up every day and works a full day, not just 2-3 hours once every couple of weeks. If there is an issue, he communicates efficiently and effectively offering options to solve the problem immediately. He's honest about what he can and can't do instead of just taking your money & telling you what you want to hear. But most of all, he's meticulous and takes pride in his work, taking the time to do the job right while sticking to the schedule as much as possible. I can't recommend Michael enough, especially if you're putting off projects due to negative past experiences with other contractors. You will know he is different as soon as he tells you how he runs his business. I slept better than I had in 4 months the day I accepted his bid which was very fair. And his workers, including Matt (the floor guy) do excellent work as well. I look forward to working with both in the future.

He looked the situation over closely and told me what I needed and gave me the name of a company that does that type of work. My neighbor asked for his opinion on her situation and he said her guttering was too small for the volume of water. He sent a crew out four days later and completed the job for her. One of the crew members noticed something had been done wrong by another company when he got up on the roof. She is going to have Eldon and Sons correct that before it becomes a bigger issue. I also had two replacement windows go bad. I called Jerry at Eldon and Sons and he ordered the replacements which were installed the day they did my neighbor's guttering job. No charge. No hassle.
