I gladly endorse the Staff & Services at NCEPT. Particularly impressive is how they combine medicine and technology for great patient care. I walked in the door with an x-ray from my doctor but it didn't fully explain my pain symptoms. The NCEPT therapists suggested further diagnostic testing to get to the root of the problem. Their Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and EMG/Nerve Study did exactly that! Within a few hours we had a clear picture of my injury so they could target precise treatment. What a relief! And that treatment includes an electric stimulation device to target my affected nerves and chronic pain. After one Neubie treatment, I slept better than I have in months as the pain was significantly reduced. I cannot say enough about my experience at NCEPT! I came here after badly fracturing my right humerus in May 2024. My recovery was complicated -- I spent nearly four months in a sling because my bone wasn't healing and required a bone stimulator. The pain was unbearable at times, and I'll admit I went to some dark places during those early months. I wasn't able to begin physiotherapy until it was confirmed that my bone was finally starting to heal, so when I did start, I was behind and extremely limited. When I first met my physiotherapist, Julia, I could barely lift my arm two inches. From day one, I knew I was in excellent hands. Julia challenged me in ways nobody else could, always keeping exercises fresh and creative so my muscles were worked in different ways. Her approach gave me confidence that I would regain my strength and mobility, even when progress felt slow. The entire staff at NCEPT is wonderful -- kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. You can feel that they truly want the best for every patient who walks through the door. Today, I "graduated" from my therapy, and while I'm sad to leave, I am beyond grateful. Thanks to Julia (and Wes, who is also awesome!), I have my mobility back, I'm pain-free, and I can return to the things I love -- swimming, biking, and running. I had a full knee replacement. Julia was my main therapist. She and her entire team were amazing. I ended with my range being at 132. My goal was 135 but I know I'll get there soon. I just finished 18 weeks of physical therapy with Sunny at NCEPT. He was an outstanding therapist! My last physical therapy experiences put me in bed for 3 days starting out as my therapists at a different company overestimated how much I could do. Sunny listened to my concerns and never worked me too hard or accelerated my exercises too quickly. He was kind, warm, and highly skilled in his knowledge. I always felt well cared for with him. I've been coming to NCEPT for two months now and I feel like I'm making a lot of progress in my recovery from hip surgery (labral tear and hip impingement). I've been working with Skye and he's the best out there. Definitely recommend him! He takes into account my specific needs, especially working around my pain. He's also really funny! I came in after an elbow dislocation, Matt was amazing during my therapy session. He is very knowledgeable of the progress during my whole therapy sessions experience. in just about 4 sessions he got me back surfing and provided exercises to focus on my needs depending on the sports that I practice regularly. Ncept is practically a full service physical therapy. They even have a pool. You can have all the equipment to repair and recover. But if you don't have a great staff, nobody will listen. You not only have caring and knowledgeable staff but the assistants tell you what kind of place it is. You have kind considerate assistants like Izzy, Nina, Ammi and Ally, and the rest. Even the front staff are great to work with. The team work is exceptional. While their experts work on you or set up a program for you, they are always looking at ways to make it better. For me? Malekai with his ultrasound expertise and the gang like Taylor make it a relaxed environment with the right amount of encouragement and education. All these guys are more interested in getting you well than pumping you through like a conveyor belt. read more

I go to aquatic therapy at this clinic, and the two male physical therapist are outstanding. I literally watched one of them tell an older patient that he would get into the pool with him to help him accomplish one of the goals set for him. The physical therapist said, " I think you can do it! I really think you could do it! Do you want me to get in with you? I have on my swimming trunks. I will get in with you!" I cannot tell you how incredibly kind and compassionate they are. The schedulers are accommodating and helpful. I have gone to quite a few physical therapists over the years, at a number of offices in San Diego. I will never go to any other office other than NCEPT. The reception is friendly, courteous and efficient. I was fortunate to have Matt as my therapist . I was in post neck surgery and he worked hard with me to improve range of motion and work on muscles that were affected from neck down to low back. Matt is extremely knowledgeable, caring and considerate when working with me on exercises to enhance my progress both in the therapy room and what I can do at home. I also came to NCEPT about six years ago for a rotator cuff tear and frozen shoulder. Different therapist who has since retired but amazing success. Many physical therapist that I have gone to basically show you exercises, watch you do them and then give you a sheet demonstrating the exercises and send you on your way.
