Shout out to the early bird PT team, Gabby, Nate, Sophia and Sydney for being there with Malachi each day!! Each of you have been amazing in anticipating needs and supporting my recovery post ACL reconstruction surgery. The best parts of my day come after a great therapy session. Positivity from the staff keeps me motivated to push harder toward full recovery! read more

Talk about conservative and not up to today's standards. This place well definitely make you feel like your out of place and your not welcome just by the way you look. They can careless if you're qualified or over qualified. If you ARE NOT conservative they well make you uncomfortable and well reject you and treat you differently. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to come here. Why make those who are smart, qualified, and kind feel out of place in a professional establishment just because they look a little different then you? Gross and disgusting and it's unethical and unacceptable . read more

Everyone is so nice at NCEPT. You truly feel taken care by the entire team. My physical therapist, Emily, guided me through my total knee replacement rehab with care, compassion, fun and the right amount of challenging. The assistants who got me started , took assessments and brought my ice were also so wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I am a woman in my late 80's. I've been referred to physical therapy a handful of times. One place stands out: NCEPT. Physical therapist Kara S is knowledgeable and pleasant. She is realistic and supportive. Sue is the receptionist who is accommodating and efficient. The whole physical area twitchs with energy. Exceptional experience. Thank you for being available. I cannot say enough about my experience at NCEPT! I came here after badly fracturing my right humerus in May 2024. My recovery was complicated -- I spent nearly four months in a sling because my bone wasn't healing and required a bone stimulator. The pain was unbearable at times, and I'll admit I went to some dark places during those early months. I wasn't able to begin physiotherapy until it was confirmed that my bone was finally starting to heal, so when I did start, I was behind and extremely limited. When I first met my physiotherapist, Julia, I could barely lift my arm two inches. From day one, I knew I was in excellent hands. Julia challenged me in ways nobody else could, always keeping exercises fresh and creative so my muscles were worked in different ways. Her approach gave me confidence that I would regain my strength and mobility, even when progress felt slow. The entire staff at NCEPT is wonderful -- kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. You can feel that they truly want the best for every patient who walks through the door. Today, I "graduated" from my therapy, and while I'm sad to leave, I am beyond grateful. Thanks to Julia (and Wes, who is also awesome!), I have my mobility back, I'm pain-free, and I can return to the things I love -- swimming, biking, and running. The journey took almost a year and a half, but NCEPT was by my side every step of the way. If you ever need physiotherapy, I can't recommend NCEPT enough. Ask for Julia she's amazing!! read more

Overall, the care in this facility is amazing. From the office staff, Sue and Liz, to the technicians, particularly Nate and Gabby, and to Emily, my physical therapist, as well as the other therapists who filled in when I had to change appointments, I could not have been more pleased with the care I received, the overall experience at the facility and the atmosphere within the facility. I would highly recommend NCEPT for anyone who requires physical therapy. read more

I gladly endorse the Staff & Services at NCEPT. Particularly impressive is how they combine medicine and technology for great patient care. I walked in the door with an x-ray from my doctor but it didn't fully explain my pain symptoms. The NCEPT therapists suggested further diagnostic testing to get to the root of the problem. Their Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and EMG/Nerve Study did exactly that! Within a few hours we had a clear picture of my injury so they could target precise treatment. What a relief! And that treatment includes an electric stimulation device to target my affected nerves and chronic pain. After one Neubie treatment, I slept better than I have in months as the pain was significantly reduced. I'm delighted to have found NCEPT and am confident they're the right people (with the right tools) to help me heal & resume activities of normal life. read more

I had a full knee replacement. Julia was my main therapist. She and her entire team were amazing. I ended with my range being at 132. My goal was 135 but I know I'll get there soon. I'm only four months postop and already I am so thrilled. I thought I could do the therapy on my own. However, I know I pushed myself harder in front of a therapist and I have more range because of that. They play great music and everyone is very upbeat. Thank you Julia and team!!! read more

Third experience at NCEPT (two knee replacements and the last one was a hip replacement). My current PT therapist was Sunny, who was very knowledgeable, helpful and worked around other medical issues with ease. He listened when a session increased pain and adjusted the next treatment. Would definitely return when I need my other hip replaced! read more

I had my second hip surgery, and followed up with PT at NCEPT for the second time. They continued with excellent customer service and therapy with the staff. Malachi and Emily are excellent at what they do and how they approach your recovery based on your individual needs. And do what they say...as your orthopedic surgeon and the PT's say. You will recover much sooner and stronger if you do. The office administration staff are very professional. Go there and get back in the saddle... read more

Hi, I recently had the pleasure of working with Matt Hannon at ENCEPT Physical Therapy Clinic at the Escondido location regarding my spine problems. I had been struggling with chronic back pain for a while and was feeling quite apprehensive about finding a solution that worked for me. I was diagnosed and waiting to be scheduled for a surgery and needed to improve my core strength and endurance without jeopardizing my situation any further at the same time which is very difficult and delicate task. After the initial evaluation by the doctor of physical therapy, the unbelievably resourceful physical therapist Matt Hannon took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and developed a personalized treatment plan. He used a combination of manual therapy and targeted exercises which sometimes times were revised or replaced with a different approach depending on my feedback that was always easy for him to do due to his highly skilled awareness and effectiveness. Within just a few weeks, I noticed a significant reduction in pain and an increase in my range of motion. By the end of my treatment, I felt stronger and more confident in my physical abilities and courageous to take on an intrusive spinal surgery expecting an expedient recovery, thanks to Matt's hard work, dedication and professional treatment. What truly sets Matt apart is his compassionate and friendly demeanor. He always took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thorough explanations about the exercises and progress. As a matter of fact, the entire team at the ENCEPT Physical Therapy Clinic in Escondido are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the facility was always clean and well-organized. Scheduling appointments was hassle-free with multiple sessions in advance which made my treatment journey even smoother. I highly recommend Mr. Matt Hannon to anyone in need of physical therapy. His expertise and dedication to his patients is truly exceptional. Thank you, Matt and the entire staff of ENCEPT clinic for helping me regain my strength and move forward towards a pain-free life and lifestyle again! Max K. read more

I just finished 18 weeks of physical therapy with Sunny at NCEPT. He was an outstanding therapist! My last physical therapy experiences put me in bed for 3 days starting out as my therapists at a different company overestimated how much I could do. Sunny listened to my concerns and never worked me too hard or accelerated my exercises too quickly. He was kind, warm, and highly skilled in his knowledge. I always felt well cared for with him. I no longer need the walker I had just received when I started there. Sunny saved my mobility and I will always be grateful for the quality of care he provided. read more

I had to begin Physical Therapy in mid-February. From the very first appointment (evaluation) by Malachi, (one of many stellar PT's there), to the dozens of sessions I've now had, the entire team is cohesive and professional. I look forward to my sessions, and even though I am not YET pain free, there is no doubt Malachi is helping to work through this care towards perfect health again. I feel like I'm hanging out with friends when I come to the office. Everyone is great, especially Isabelle! She deserves a promotion or something. They even let me bring my toddler in a stroller the days I have no one to watch her. I'm very thankful I found this place and I definitely will recommend it to anyone who needs physical therapy. read more

Ncept is practically a full service physical therapy. They even have a pool. You can have all the equipment to repair and recover. But if you don't have a great staff, nobody will listen. You not only have caring and knowledgeable staff but the assistants tell you what kind of place it is. You have kind considerate assistants like Izzy, Nina, Ammi and Ally, and the rest. Even the front staff are great to work with. The team work is exceptional. While their experts work on you or set up a program for you, they are always looking at ways to make it better. For me? Malekai with his ultrasound expertise and the gang like Taylor make it a relaxed environment with the right amount of encouragement and education. All these guys are more interested in getting you well than pumping you through like a conveyor belt. read more

I go to aquatic therapy at this clinic, and the two male physical therapist are outstanding. I literally watched one of them tell an older patient that he would get into the pool with him to help him accomplish one of the goals set for him. The physical therapist said, " I think you can do it! I really think you could do it! Do you want me to get in with you? I have on my swimming trunks. I will get in with you!" I cannot tell you how incredibly kind and compassionate they are. The schedulers are accommodating and helpful.
