I know doctors started a long time ago, believing they were gods instead of human beings that chose a calling to help others and made oaths to that end . When did that attitude extend itself to therapists? Hoping to see improvement in this area of healthcare.

Also, I am really big on trainers with good energy and Cindy definitely brings a positive and light energy. I had bad pain down the back of my legs and especially behind my knees. Nothing helped and they could not determine what was causing the pain. I finally gave up on them and went to see Mike. He spent the time to ask me questions and analyzed my walk and posture. He worked with me on different exercises which I continue to perform daily. Within 6 sessions my pain was gone. It's been three months, and I feel great. I had spent a miserable year with pain and Mike was the only one who asked the right questions and listened when I described the pain and when I would feel it the most. My lab has had two knee surgeries and while she is still very energetic, she does get sore and her knees need to be considered. Emily took it on herself to back up to curbs so it's easier for Rosa to get in and out of the truck. She also pays attention when she needs to take it easy on some days. Also, Rosa started eating things on the walk that she shouldn't (gross), and Emily quickly realized on her own that if she just gives Rosa a ball to hold onto while walking, she won't eat anything. One day when dropping Rosa off I was going to suggest it to Emily, but she brought it up first! She really cares about the dogs and tends to their individual needs. Nancy is different (in the best way) than any other chiropractor I have seen. She uses a…read morecombination of techniques involving muscle testing, muscle release work, and chiro work. I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my twins and I was so uncomfortable during that pregnancy but her work was one of the only things that helped. I was also able to have a healthy pregnancy and labor in part because of Nancy! Chiropractic work is tremendously helpful for us as parents of young ones because it helps us not get nearly so many viruses! The kids bring home a lot of colds and we don't often get sick when we're good about getting regular adjustments. We brought our eldest and in Nancy's first assessment she noticed that my child's adrenals are on overdrive, their C spine is completely jammed, and their hips and back are all kinds of wonky. Although they are just nine, they are an athlete. Probably more so than anyone in my family! They spend their life in motion. Kids often benefit greatly from chiropractic work! Especially a specialist like Nancy. We hope to help their nervous system calm down and even regulate some of the ADHD like symptoms they display. We send our whole family to Nancy!

I came to him with a very complex case of a recurring gluteal tendonopathy from running for over a year, layered with a more recent significant thoracic surgery for a tumor removal. He listened and took detailed notes, and made sure I felt comfortable. In addition to being a genuinely kind, intuitive, and compassionate human, he's incredibly intelligent and I'm always impressed at his knowledge of how different body areas work together and affect each other. His work has been extremely effective, I haven't had this good of range of motion in my spine in over half a year - far more effective than the exercises prescribed by my surgeon post op. I've also felt more balanced between my right and left legs (and my range of motion on my affected leg has improved so significantly it genuinely shocked me in the best way possible!).
