Nancy is different (in the best way) than any other chiropractor I have seen. She uses a combination of techniques involving muscle testing, muscle release work, and chiro work. I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my twins and I was so uncomfortable during that pregnancy but her work was one of the only things that helped. I was also able to have a healthy pregnancy and labor in part because of Nancy! Chiropractic work is tremendously helpful for us as parents of young ones because it helps us not get nearly so many viruses! The kids bring home a lot of colds and we don't often get sick when we're good about getting regular adjustments. We brought our eldest and in Nancy's first assessment she noticed that my child's adrenals are on overdrive, their C spine is completely jammed, and their hips and back are all kinds of wonky. I cannot express how grateful I am for having Dr Chu as my Chiropractor. I had been suffering with chronic foot pain for over 8 years. The best! I have had a lot of injuries over the last two years, but being referred to Dr. Chu in 2022 was a game-changer. I have a spinal fusion and limited spinal rotation, which can sometimes cause problems when I try to ramp up my training. I consider myself pretty active and flexible given my constraints, but there are certain things I'd come to accept as limitations. Since working with Dr. Chu, I may need to revisit that list. Some of her adjustments have given me more mobility and improved my alignment more than I thought possible. She is kind, energetic, and at the cutting edge of her field. Dr. Chu is the best. I've been going to her for over two years to help manage recurring back pain and overall have my body feel in tip-top shape. What I love about Dr. Chu's adjustments is that she focuses not only the the structural issues (like most chiropractors), but also the deep tissue issues. I'm not a big review writer, but I feel obligated to share how wonderful Dr. Chu has been for me over the years. I started coming to her when she was at another practice in early 2017 because of general aches and pains due to my job (I sit at a desk for a big part of the day). After a car accident and some other minor incidents, I started to have a variety of back issues which culminated in very crooked walking and barely being able to take 3 steps without a massive muscle spasm in my lower back. Dr. Chu got me through it and I have been walking upright and spasm free for more than 3 years. Treatment isn't always relaxing.. (I'm convinced Dr. Chu could beat the crap out of most men I know) but I always leave feeling great. I can't imagine going to anyone else for chiropractic care. She has this witch-y ability to just know what's wrong before I even lay down on the table. If you're just looking for somebody to crack your back and shove you out the door until next week, then Dr. Chu is likely not your jam. But if you're looking for a doctor that takes the time to explain the "whys" of your injury/pain and show you how to prevent re-injury and make you better, then Dr. Chu is the best place for you. Nancy is the best chiropractor I've ever had She has an incredibly developed process for determining diagnoses, remedies and action plans. I can come in with a theory of what's wrong and she'll quickly absorb my context, then deduce root causes. That's so incredibly hard to find!
