Friday night is Date night and tonight along with our friends we picked Naxos and I am so delighted we did. Naxos is located in Red Rock Casino and it is recommended you do make reservations. The restaurant is Stunning with a BoHo Romantic design. There is an open kitchen concept and large tree and dim lights throughout the restaurant that gives you that very relaxed feel. We were seated immediately by Lily and she was delightful. Our waiter Garrett immediately introduced himself and went over the entire menu as well as the cocktail menu. He was amazing the entire evening. We ordered for an appetizer Homemade pita bread with three different types of spread . I asked for Garrett to pick the three types and he did not disappoint. Myself and my husband along with our friends then ordered our dinners. It did not take very long for our meals to be delivered and we all were so satisfied with our food. My husband had ordered Lamb Chops, I had steak , my friend ordered a white fish with a Lemon fish that was amazing, and her husband ordered Skirt steak. Everything was cooked to perfection and was so fresh . Definitely an amazing evening snd we will return.

Came in for an atypical Thanksgiving meal. Started off with a warm greeting from our server Tina who claimed at least 90% Greek heritage. And she respected her roots! (Smile) She was not only familiar with the Greek language, but was a true connoisseur of the entire menu. She made some great suggestions from both the fish menu as well as the main menu. We started off our meal with the Greek salad, which was large enough to share between three or four people. We also had the charred octopus appetizer. The flavors were fantastic. The photos do not do this place justice but give a peek at the variety available. Here is a summary the experience: Food: top notch! Fresh and flavorful. Mediterranean food always leaves me feeling satisfied but not stuffed. And this experience exceeded expectations. They brought the fish in the salt crust to show how it had been cooked before preparing it to serve. Impressive presentation and the quality matched. Service: Excellent. Granted we were one of three tables since we came at lunch and this is typically a dinner only establishment. Nevertheless everyone was attentive and the food came in a a timely manner but not so quick that you had the impression of it being pre-made. Value: The price was right. You could choose a dish that fit your palette, hunger level and budget. Plenty of options that all met the mark. 10/10 I will be back the next time I'm in Vegas.

My sister has been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years, and getting recommendations from casino workrs. we were finally able to dine here for brunch on a Saturday about 1130a party of 8. Restaurant is practically empty which worked out for us since we were gonna catch movie at 115p. The restaurant itself is dimly lit, and easy to have conversations. We decided on a few dishes to try and were quite pleased with our choices. Since we had our older cousins with us who dont eat much, it was the perfect amount of food. What stood out to me as my favorite was the shrimp wrap. Loved the crunch of the outside wrappers the olive aioli. The spinach rice could've used more flavor, but the idea of it is great. The steak and eggs, was ordered medium well, which was a mistake, because it was sliced and cooked so the edges were burnt, unfortunately did not get a picture of that dish. But my brother in law doesn't like blood in his steak could not finish, even with the chimichurri sauce. All in all, we'd do e here again.

Decided to try something different while spending the day at Red rock Casino. Greek restaurant was just opening for dinner and no waiting line... ambience was amazing and the food and service did not disappoint either. I had grilled salmon, cooked perfectly medium with a squash puree. My brother had lamb kebab in a tomato rags with garbanzo beans and hint of olives. We shared a rice dish with fresh spinach and had plenty of food for both of us. Kostas , our server, was polite, attentive, and had the Greek accent to transform us to the isle of Greece. No room for dessert on this trip, but we will be back to try dips and fresh baked pita and seafood.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night and had to wait for 45 minutes for a table. Once we were seated our server took our drink order. We ordered the sea bass from the Fish of the Day menu along with a side of Muhammara. The fish tasted fresh and paired well with the Muhammara. We also got a Bloody Mary and a mojito and both were good. Service was okay but could have been much better. The restaurant's design is nice.

Naxos Taverna is a contemporary Greek Style Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar located in the Red Rock Casino. It's a very attractive restaurant and it looks like everything should be nice. This review is only based on one lunch visit. A word of warning. You will do better than me here if you ask them not to salt your food and request salt on the side. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to take our order. It started with the iced tea. I was surprised that when I ordered an Iced Tea that someone would serve me very warm tea in a glass without ice. I had to ask for ice. The only plate we had (from the Restaurant Week Lunch Special Menu) that didn't have a problem was the East Coast West Coast Oysters. I started with the Greek Salad. In the middle of dressed tomatoes and cucumbers is a big wedge of feta cheese that is very salty and was covered in more salt. I couldn't eat it but I also note that I might be more sensitive to salt than other people. My husband tolerates more salt than me and agreed that the feta cheese was very salty. This salad also came with pickled shallots that were SO STRONG THAT THEY COULD DO PUSH UPS. (nobody could possibly eat them) This salad was 2 stars at the most...only the ripe heirloom tomatoes were good in it. I had the Greek Sea Bass called Lavraki. It was cooked to perfection but was loaded with too many salty capers and an overly generous handful of salt. I scraped off all I could and it was still salty. The seafood linguini had some problems too. The clams and shrimp were over cooked. My husband thinks that the crab might have been missing? We shared the froyo and spiced date cake for dessert. The cake lacked flavor but also was all dried out like maybe it was a week or two old. The froyo seemed fresh but lacked good flavors. This whole experience could have been better. Maybe dinners are better here?

Naxos at Red Rock Casino absolutely blew us away. We're big food people, and this was hands-down some of the best Greek food we've had in Vegas--maybe anywhere. The chicken deserves its own standing ovation: **the best chicken we've ever had**. Super moist, perfectly cooked, and seasoned in a way that feels simple but somehow unforgettable. For appetizers, don't skip the **eggplant and zucchini chips with tzatziki**. Pro tip: **ask for the sauce on the side** and use it as a dip--game changer. And dessert? Get the **yogurt cup**. I know it *sounds* boring, but trust two foodies on this: it's absolutely worth it. Light, fresh, and the perfect ending. **Reservations are recommended**, and if you can, ask for **Aaron**--he's our favorite server and made the whole experience even better. We'll be back every time we're at Red Rock.

If you've ever wondered whether great seafood can exist in the middle of the desert, Naxos Taverna is here to prove that not only is it possible -- it can be exceptional. Walking into Naxos felt like stepping out of Red Rock and straight into a date‑night taverna somewhere along the Aegean. The vibe was this perfect blend of lively, intimate, and upscale, with just enough energy to make it feel like the start of a great night out (which, for us, it was -- pre‑gambling fuel). Katafi Wrapped Prawns -- A Happy Accident Our meal started with a small hiccup: the kitchen was running behind. Before we could even wonder what was happening, our server Kostas came over, apologized, and said he'd check on things. Moments later, someone arrived with two orders of the Katafi Wrapped Prawns -- complimentary, as a gesture for the delay. Honestly? Best "mistake" ever. These prawns were incredible -- crisp, light, and delicate, almost like the elevated cousin of shrimp tempura. The katafi phyllo added this airy crunch that made every bite feel special. And the sauce... the sauce is what ties the whole dish together. If you go, don't skip this. Pan Roasted Chilean Sea Bass -- The Star The Sea Bass was everything you want it to be: buttery, flaky, melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender. The tomato and kalamata olive sauce brought this bright, briny depth that made the dish feel both comforting and refined. This is the kind of entrée that makes you pause mid‑conversation. Marouli Salad A refreshing break between bites. The arugula adds a bitterness that I loved, even if my friends didn't. If you're an arugula fan, this is your salad. Zucchini & Eggplant Chips Light, crisp, and seasoned beautifully -- almost like Mediterranean tempura. Perfect for sharing, though you may not want to. Service That Feels Personal Kostas was fantastic -- attentive without hovering, quick with drink refills, and genuinely warm. He even mentioned he was born on Maui, which made the experience feel even more personal since that's where I'm from. He also saved my friends from ordering the wrong salad by letting them know the Greek Salad doesn't come with lettuce and recommending the Marouli instead. That kind of menu knowledge is gold. I also appreciated the fresh fish menu, which seems to change depending on what's available that day. It's a small detail, but it tells you exactly where their priorities are: quality first. Drinks & Dessert My friends enjoyed the Aphrodite cocktail, and I went with a Sauvignon Blanc (though I do wish they had a Pinot Grigio by the glass). The only surprise was that the bill came before dessert was offered -- not a dealbreaker, but I would've loved to see what they had for next time. Final Thoughts Would I return? Absolutely. Naxos isn't just "good for Vegas." It's genuinely great seafood, period. And while it has Mediterranean and Greek influences, I wouldn't lump it in with the typical Greek spots around town. This is a fine seafood restaurant with a Greek soul -- and it deserves to be recognized as such. If you haven't been, it's a must‑try. Especially if you think great seafood can't exist in the desert... Naxos might just change your mind.

We visited on Friday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a very nice experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away in a spacious booth. The dining area is large and well appointed. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. Their margaritas are nice and strong. We started with Hummus, Kataifi Wrapped Prawns, and a Greek Salad. All were well prepared and tasty. From there we had the Skirt Steak and a whole Dorade fish. My wife had Cookies & Bites for dessert. The fish and steak were delicious. The $35 Prix Fixe menu was actually a good deal. The service was excellent, refills were expeditious and plates were cleared away promptly. A little pricey, but overall a very good place for Med fare.

I was so happy I chose Naxos Taverna for my Sunday brunch selection. First the Ambiance, soft lighting the vibe was just relaxing. Nothing would be possible without great service and food of course. I always look for both to be excellent so the experience can be much more fulfilling. The server Liz was friendly and so nice that she made our dining experience enjoyable. The food would not happen if it weren't for Amalia who did our amazing Marouli salad. Juan did our Charcoal Grilled Skirt Steak and was so tender and mouth-watering. My recommendation would be the charred Spanish Octopus, which is a must-try. They also have bottomless mimosas for $28. Overall great food, service, and Ambiance, definitely coming back for some more.

Great Greek Hamburger, But Spanakopita? Opa, No!…read more Review: So The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill popped up practically in my backyard--right there next to Whole Foods on Sahara and Town Center. How could I not try it? Now, I'll be honest: my favorite Greek spot is Meráki, and when we go there, we're known for ordering--wait for it--a hamburger. Yes, a Greek hamburger! Meráki's is amazing, and turns out, The Great Greek's burger is also a flavor bomb. Whatever Greek seasoning magic they sprinkle on that meat patty gives it a char-grilled punch that hits the spot. We rounded out our takeout with a Greek salad--nothing groundbreaking, but fresh, crisp, and just what you'd expect. The Greek rice? Meh, a bit underwhelming--fine, but won't be stealing the show at any Greek wedding. Now, the spanakopita... oof. Imagine one giant puff pastry with not much spinach or feta flavor--it was a one-and-done situation. Service-wise, it's a fast-casual setup: order at the counter, grab a seat if you like, but it's not aiming for ambiance. Think more quick bite than Mediterranean getaway. Overall, would I return? Probably not when Meráki is just 10 minutes down the road. But if I'm craving that Greek burger and I'm in a pinch, well... I know where to go!

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.
