We have just completed our storage time at Nave. We are moving and needed a space for some extra belongings. Ted was so helpful in finding a good unit that perfectly suited our needs. The space is very clean. The space is not temp controlled however, our unit was inside on the first floor. It did not get ok hot in the summer. read more

First impression was OK with the young man that was working there but could not answer any questions and then I came back and then I was told that on 30 June that that was the last day to use the half off discount when in fact I could use it 1 July so that was misleading and I was told I couldn't do all these sorts of things. I don't know what they were. I don't know what kind of problems they have. I just wanted to sort out some music and scan it for maybe half hour hour visits to go through my music to downsize and they said that they only allow short visits to your unit but they wouldn't give you specific time they just only short visits also didn't know how to get into the building so there's a lot of unknowns and I found them to be quite unhelpful and at times and unprofessional. then later I called Storage pro helped me out. They said they would but then I spoke to some lady named Heather who said I hung up and in fact the phone calls would get disconnected often with this company. I don't know why then I was accused for hanging up and then she was quite rude on the phone so decided storage pro was too unprofessional to deal with. read more

Nice enclosed area, clean and a restroom is available. Good security. Manager is super friendly and always helpful. I like it here better than other local storage yards. Price is reasonable but just received notice of a price increase after 6 months. It's happening everywhere so I will have to tolerate it. All in all a good facility. read more

Great storage facility. I've had 3 different facilities and this one is the top. Its weather protected, the staff are helpful but don't hover over you, its well lit, the rates are fair. I recently had problems with my lock and got help right away and the staff member had a lot of great suggestions. It has a freight elevator. The hours are not super restrictive. Under the new management, things have gone down hill, they fail to tell you that they raise rent every 6 months. Right now, more and more people are moving out daily. If you are looking long term I would highly suggest a different place to store your belongings! I know my mom couldn't get out fast enough! Only good thing about it is Ted who works in the office who genuinely seems to care about his customers if it wasn't for him my mom would have left a long time ago I'm pretty sure most people would agree with me! I really want to give this place a good review, but can't. I have been there for several years, and had several very valuable items in their facility. Paul and Ted are nice guys, and bend over backwards to (usually) provide good service. The problem is an ongoing and, apparently unaddressable rat infestation. I recently moved to Martinez, and relocated my belongings closer to home. When I started looking through my belongings, I found thousands of dollars worth of damage from the rats. All the clothing destroyed, old irreplaceable family films in ruins. When I brought this to their attention, they immediately cited a contract that, they claim, absolves them from all responsibility. I pointed out that simple integrity would suggest an opportunity to rise to the occasion and they should pay my $500 deductible on insurance, and I would take care of the rest. No response. I could not possibly recommend Nave Storage, much as it pains me to write that. When we choose to pay significant monthly charges to have a facility safeguard our prized possessions, we don't expect to find them summarily destroyed by negligence. I will be pursuing this in small claims court and strongly suggest anyone reading this to consider ANY other facility. Your belongings are in danger read more

As far as storage places go this one is nice. The people who run it are nice! They have stoages from big 10x10 where you can back your car up, to smaller units too. It's also nice that they have units inside, like mine, where i know my stuff is safe! Rate are good too! Over, for a mini storage place, this place is way above average. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Moving out of here has been a complete nightmare. We are moving out due to a rodent issue this place has. There were rat droppings in both of our units and furniture chewed up by lord only knows. There was a hole in several of our mattresses and the covers were off the furniture. Mostly i was shocked at the chewing done on our wood furniture...didn't expect a rat to do that but the manager said that's common. When we walked into the managers office the first thing he said was "let me guess, your here for the rat problem" i thought, great! He's already on top of the situation. When i asked him what the plans were to resolve the rat issue he asked me if i was looking to be compensated. I said no, I'm asking for a solution to the problem. He then said to deal with it or move out. Sure thing. No problem. Moving out and hoping that this review will have people follow. Idk if he was having a bad day or what...but we should have not had to deal with his snarky comments and rude attitude towards the situation. He made a comment he's fearful that he will loose his business with the situation he has going on. Well yea buddy! If you keep up that attitude towards any conflict and take it out on your customers you should close up shop, along with your rats. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. The manager is all smiles when you sign your lease and then turns to a major jerk. They charged me multiple late fees even though I was on automatic payments every month. When I called the manager to ask him about my late fees he hung up on me. Go somewhere else and don't waist your time or money with this place. Trust me, I'm all for giving businesses a second chance but this place just couldn't figure it out. read more
