The food is pretty regular for cafes except for their stand out selection of tinned fish! Their coffee options is pretty basic. To be honest, its everything i wanted and expected! My favorite part of hanging here was that is smells like dried flowers or teak wood. Probably the former since the interior has such cozy wood slats on the walls. One star off because they seem understaffed as the singular barista also had to run the cash register and the kitchen. She's excellent! Management needs to staff with another person.

I usually pass through Nave for coffee and a pastry but today, I passed through around 1:30 PM which gave me the thumbs up for a beer. The. morning coffee hour had come and gone... for the reasons I like coming here are because they have outside seating with the tables that are situated pretty far apart and I smoke! There you have it. I can sit outside, enjoy a rich, cold, tasty beer and smoke a cigarette, all at the same time. This place is one of my faves.

Honestly love the place! It's a chill spot to get some work done or meet with someone.. they have plenty of chairs and couches to sit. We got a croissant sandwich and their chips & dip. It was good! The coffee and matcha could be better, but I don't think coffee is their specialty. They have it, but I would say there's better elsewhere. The new girl that was training had a great attitude and I loved her vibe, the others were a bit more nonchalant. Overall though it was a clean environment and I would come back!

    Breakfast sandwich

Breakfast sandwich is premade. Cashier knew absolutely nothing. Couldn't answer questions on menu. Service was slow. Bfast sandwich was tasty but lukewarm. Falls apart so ask for utensils as there are none available. Mocha was fabulous. Only a few customers inside and now I know why. Cool ambience - has lots of potential.

First to review! This is the in house cafe at hotel Stratford. I came here primarily because they serve Grafeo, which is supposedly one of the top rated bean manufacturers in the world. I walked in to a mostly empty cafe, save for two customers. There seems to be only one guy working at the cafe, though I saw multiple servers coming in and out so I guess there's a shared kitchen with the hotel? He did not greet me when I walked in but instead puttered around with some small tasks before he finally came over to take my order. I appreciate that they have a graphic that tells you how much milk is in each drink and make sure to confirm with customers that a real macchiato is not Starbucks caramel macchiato sized. lol I know, I'm a coffee pro. Anyway, I ordered a double macchiato, which I felt did not have enough milk in it, as I was mostly drinking espresso. And a berry parfait, which was kind of sad, as the fruit was definitely frozen. Anyway, I tried it, but I'm not sure it was worth walking out in the rain for.

Service: A+ Ambiance: A+ Food: A++ We had olives, anchovies, Caesar salad, artichoke salad, and mussels! And the Pinot Grigio! We left every plate clean. It was all delicious. The chilled Pinot was clutch on a rare hot SF day. I'm usually not a fan of mussels but would have them again and again and again at this spot. My cousin hated anchovies prior but now is a big fan. We will come back again soon.

Nave has a nice ambiance. Nice place to get work done. It has a lounge with couches and stuff.

Charging the $10 event fee on discretion before the posted event start time seems... shady? illegal? My two friends got in a few minutes before with no cover. I was dealing with a bike lock while they went in. We were not there for the event but rather as volunteers from the weekly cleanup refuse crew in the Mission. You get perks as a thank-you for doing your part in making the City a cleaner place. We had just had a lovely time at another participating business (Beehive) and planned on Arcana being our final stop. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine. Already reported to the Mayor's Office. Maybe I'll add BBB. Should be honest and equitable! Four out of 200+ reviews by me have been one star, so I rarely share negativity. It's all rather unfortunate as other visits here went off without an issue. I warned a group of four about all this while I waited out front, and after talking to the front door folks, they left and thanked me for the advice. Please be careful if you visit here. . . .

It was busy the night we arrived but we got lucky with the walk in. Atmosphere is dim, perfect for a date or hanging with friends. Good music. Entire front of house is run by husband wife owners Joel and Natalia. They are both so friendly and accomodating, making the experience warm. Joel is the former wine director at La Mar and is very experienced. We ordered a wine flight and let Joel choose our three pours, all of which were fantastic. Favorite was a Domaine des Aubuisieres "Cuvee de Silex" Vouvray. - cheese board - seasonal cheeses and jams with sourdough that complimented the wine nicely - cebiche - market fish, maine scallops, octopus, leche de tigre - fresh fish with a bit of a kick

We stopped in over Labor Day weekend and I was actually surprised by how quiet it was, which made it a nice place to sit and enjoy a glass without feeling crowded or rushed. Where they lost me was the wine pricing. The by-the-glass prices are pretty steep, with most around $16-$20 and Champagne at $25. I'm completely fine paying more at a wine bar for the atmosphere, service, and experience, but knowing what some of these bottles actually retail for, the markup felt excessive for what was being poured. They do offer a full food menu and some of it sounds interesting, but I wasn't impressed enough with the wine experience or value to want to stay and try the food, so I can't speak to that. I'm glad I finally checked Frenchie out after seeing it online so much. It's a cute space and I can see the appeal, but for me the value just isn't there at these prices

We got there pretty early, around 9ish and waited about 15 mins to order and another 10ish for our name to be called. They usually sell out of the two better ones early on. We shared the chile verde. Equally distributed ingredients throughout the burrito so every bite is deliciously filled. No mouthfuls of just tortilla. The sauce is a must. It gives the extra little kick you're hoping for. When people said they found one of the best breakfast burritos at Bodega I first thought they must not be from San Francisco and they must be somewhere in Eastern United States where they call any corner store a Bodega. Then I was thinking they were referring to Bodega the Vietnamese restaurant in SF. I then thought it couldn't be the Hummus Bodega on Geary boulevard or Coffee Bodega in the Marina. I then thought the most of these best breakfast burritos are in the Mission District. I finally got to find out it's a bar called Bodega North Beach which sells breakfast burritos only on Saturday mornings. On a Fall stroll on a sunny morning I landed at the North Beach a pickle ball throw away from Washington Square Park and lots of restaurants with Angel hair pasta. There was no inside in the morning because it's all to go orders. I decided to try their chorizo and sausage breakfast burritos. The sausage breakfast sausage with avocado ,eggs, and a bit flakey potatoes like some in SF. The chorizo breakfast burrito was savory but a bit tangier and the sauce enhanced the burrito flavor. It's one of the top breakfast burrito in SF but it's a worthy contender and easily a top ten in the city. Wish it was more cheesy like some in SF. San Francisco is a city is small in size but when it comes to restaurants it packs a punch that's "mega "there is always good food from Chestnut street to Van Ness to Irving and "Noriega" which is a block away from a street called " Ortega" but you won't find this salsa in a jar because their salsa is made in house at a bar which sells good breakfast burritos on the avenue of Columbus called "Bodega" Bodega North Beach is located a few blocks where Bruce Lee ( RIP) was born who also played on TV the character "Kato " if you go to North Beach in SF you will find dozens of restaurants that offer Angel hair and fettuccine "Alfredo"the breakfast burrito at Bodega has a bit of egg ,avocado, and "potato" and a hint of "tomato "
