I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. My group got two rounds of drinks which included the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, Figgy Smalls, Christmas in a Cup, Happiness is a Warm Puppy, Milk & Cookies, and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. My favorites by far were the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned and Figgy Smalls. My group also loved the Milk & Cookies. My wife and daughter love the black bean burger, and I've enjoyed most of the dishes I've ordered. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing every time we've visited. The servers are friendly and polite, but the execution just isn't there. On multiple occasions, we had to wait long periods without seeing our server. I've had to go to the bar myself to get drinks because no one came around to check on us. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect orders to be accurate, bills to be correct, and servers to check on their tables regularly. It's frustrating because the food is good and the staff is pleasant, but after three visits with the same service issues, we've decided not to return. I hope management takes a closer look at the dining room service because the kitchen is doing its part.
