Brought my car for what I thought was an issue with the CV axel making a clicking sound when turning, they confirmed, schedule for 2 days later, they gave me an estimate, I also added getting all 4 tire replaced since they were end of life and an alignment need to be dome withheld CV work being done. The work was completed and. I was told the CV only took 3hours not 5 so the final bill was lower than the estimate, honest place....work was all done to perfection. I had a slow leak in two of my tires and popped in to see if they could fix, after a dealership said I should replace both tires. The crew there was very friendly and professional and immediately took care of the problem. They charged me a nominal amount. Whatever guy answers the phones on Thursday's in the morning needs to be nowhere near any customers with his abysmal attitude. You are performing a service. Good, solid local business. They sell used tires, which is awesome and they special order oddball tires, like for my girlfriend's Eclipse. Fun bunch too. Visited them on the day of the solar eclipse. They were shooting pics of it through a welding mask and sharing the fun with customers. read more

This place is a joke. I tried to support a local business and purchased 4 new tires here on June 14th, spent $900. When I pulled out of the shop my car sounded like it had no exhaust on it. Turns out they used their lift wrong and broke part of my exhaust which they told me could possibly have been from their lift but was bound to happen from rust under the car. I had it repaired which also cost me $900 and the shop I went to confirmed the lift at the tire place definitely broke the piece. I tried for a week to get in touch with the owner and was ignored. I contacted the better business bureau and they were ignored by this business too. I was willing to take even half of the money to reimburse me for the damage they did to my car but they never gave me the time of day. Now I'll make sure everyone I know never gives them any business ever again. Should have just gone to Firestone or pep boys- lesson learned. read more

NEVER EVER EVER go to naugatuck tire, paid them to do balance, rotate and 4 wheel alignment on my car and had shaking and pulling to the right afterwards. Bring it back they supposedly rechecked and he says could be tire pressure, bent rim, etc.. ok don't you check those when you do said items I paid for.. I guess not and my wheels were scratched between both trips to top all of this off. Brought it to town fair in southington and paid for them to do the same thing ... Drives perfect now. I also hate the stupid look and rude attitude I got like I'm stupid when I said there was something wrong with my car, completely unprofessional.. Gave these guys a call and they were very rude to me. I simply asked them a question and all I heard was some mumbo jumbo then they just hung up the phone? Definitely will never shop here or recommend this place to anyone I know. Customer service is pure crap. read more

I want to support local business. This is the main reason I went to this tire shop. At first, the guy at the counter, who is not the owner, seemed very knowledgeable and nice. I bought 4 Cooper tires from him. The tires have 45 days returned guarantee by Cooper. I now called him back and inquired about the warranty because I am not happy the way the tires handle when turning corners. The same guy at the counter was sarcastic and rude. The way he spoke to me over the phone totally changed my opinion about him and about the business. I called back on February 2nd and the same guy refused to explain to me the Cooper warranty. He also told me that he was not happy with the review I wrote. He wanted me to come to the shop in person so we could "talk". I am not sure what he meant by ""talk"". He spoke to me in a very threatening and hostile matter, so I do not feel it is safe to go back to the store. I have a total of 3 cars but I will never go back there. Next time I need tires I will go where I should have gone in the first place, Costco. Costco is a place that "treats" you fairly and respectfully always. Please do not make the same mistake I did.
