The only place I trust with my Tesla. The staff are polite, the price is reasonable, and the work is top notch. I also appreciate that they store my "off season" tires for no charge; that saves me valuable space in my garage. read more

The two times I have used Mezzio's they have taken HOURS just to diagnose my car and get car parts. It takes days to complete anything. Poor communication and front desk staff are rude. I can think of a bunch of other car places to get ripped off at. Don't bother with this place. read more

I've been coming to Mezzio's for many years. I am never disappointed in the service that is provided. No matter what I need, they take care of me. The front office staff is so friendly and always provide amazing service. Mario is the absolute best technician you will ever meet. I highly recommend choosing Mezzio's for your auto care needs! read more

I came here to fix my car or so I thought I did, I brought my car early morning around 8 right when it opens , It took hours for them to diagnose my car so I went in there and let them know what was wrong with my car to speed up the process. They still went ahead and diagnosed my car instead of listening to me just to tell me what I already knew was wrong with my car. It was 5 o'clock in the evening when they were closed I got a message on my phone asking if I wanted to pay on the phone and they'll leave my keys outside. Come to find out they didn't fix anything because they didn't have any parts and they were super backed up with cars. why would they take more than they can handle ? Weird Looks like they were just playing with my car and my time just for them to charge me nearly $300 for a service that wasn't even made. This place is horrible. I don't recommend it super overpriced. Slow and the communication is horrible and the price was terrible!!!!!!!!! I will never be coming here ever again thank you very much. read more

Mezzo's has always been honest with me with diagnosis. Explains the problem and takes the time to answer any questions. They work with you when your budget is tight. My whole family uses their services. read more

Friendly, fast and reasonably priced. I came here for emissions testing a few weeks ago and decided to sign up for special email offers. I saw a great deal for an oil change and full multi point inspection at $15, so I jumped on it. Not only was the whole thing done in about 45 minutes, but for the first time, an auto shop wasn't trying to push me into getting a ton of work done on my vehicle. They gave me the inspection breakdown and let me decide if I wanted any work done. They could have easily tried to talk me into thousands of dollars of work (like other places have), but they didn't. Based on their customer service and advertised prices, I would highly consider coming here for car work in the future. read more

Bill was on the high side BUT.. considering i have a high end vehicle, the quality of work, communication, customer serv and a complete detailing w/ pictures of what i should consider fixing was well worth ever penny. Well done! read more

Mezzio Auto Care - Tires Near Me - Naugatuck, Connecticut

Overpriced for the services provided - even higher than other chain shops. They charged my husband for a part that didn't even fix the issue and made no attempt to resolve the real problem no matter how many times we brought his van back, so we got the actual issue repaired elsewhere. read more

Mezzio's is THE ONLY auto repair shop I trust with my vehicle. Not only is the staff the friendliest and the most trustworthy but they will also work with you and for you in any way you need. The provide a ride home and a pick up if needed. They also provide a rental vehicle if they need to work on the car for more than day or two. Excellent mechanic service, knowledgeable employees and fair if not great pricing. And I check comparable rates with area places on all my work done. They're always at or below the going rates. Most mechanics see me, an elderly woman without mechanical knowledge and take advantage, not Mezzio's. A true family owned business. read more

Excellent customer service, they hire extremely nice and friendly people, probably is a little more pricey than other shops but you can't complain about it when they work quickly, efficiently, and get the job done properly. I trust all the technicians they have working here and have never had any issues. Would definitely recommend Mezzios to anyone looking to get stuff done to their vehicle at least check them out. read more

Very pricey place. They seem like they charge double the normal price for parts. One wheel bearing for $170 in parts? They seem more upscale than competing places but it's not worth the difference in cost. The only positive was the service was quick. I'll be shopping around for a more honest place. I could just go to a dealer for that price. read more

Went it for emissions testing and an oil change. They ran a courtesy check on my vehicle, outlining what needs to be looked into. It was explained to me in a matter-of-factly, non-condescending, non-rushed manner. Bottom line, would I return? Yes. read more

The service they give you is pricey. They overprice the ASE Certification that they say they have. I've been there a few times and they don't get it right the first time enough for my like. I've had body shop work done that has had issues. One time I had an air conditioning problem and they said all was fixed. Well it wasn't and they didn't honor to fix it right. I ended up going to the dealer. My pet peeve is that I expect your service to be right first time every time. I pay you enough. When you don't stand by your service, then I don't stand by you. Get it right! Then I might come back. $100 an hour.... I expect excellence... nothing less. read more

They got what you need. I had an emission test the first time I came here. The people were nice and their bays were busy. When I needed a small service call under the hood, they took care of it. A year or so later, I got my front quarter panel hooked on a tree branch and "ripped" off the panel, bumper, wiper washer pump. Mezzio's took it in and made it whole again. It was so reasonably priced! It looks great. They're great. read more

I recently took my vehicle for an emissions test. The team was very pleasant and professional, respecting my scheduled appointment and performing a great service! read more

I took my car in for emissions testing and I asked the mechanic to also check the oil. I went to the counter when he brought my keys in and as he handed my keys to the woman behind the counter he told me I had NO oil in my car. I asked if he could add some and he said he couldn't just start putting oil in my car and I would have to talk to the woman. She was taking to her coworker and put my keys and my paper on the counter without ever saying a word or even looking at me. Extremely rude. I won't ever go there again for anything! read more

I've had two emission tests done here. One was even an out of state one. Quick and easy. Thank you!

Very bad service and very bad work was done on my husbands truck about 3 years ago was in a bad accident needed body work done had to go back three times and they still could not do it right. Please people do not go there for anything they suck. The star rating should be a big fat Zero. read more

I ldrive by Mezzio's every day driving to work. I thought a garage closer to my daily route woule be more convenient, so I scheduled an oil change to check them out. The man behind the counter had little to no interest in helping me and left me standing there. Finally, he took my name and keys and left me standing there. The oil change took much longer than they told me. I actually had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my oil to be delivered to them. I realized while I was waiting that there was only one other car there for service. A few came in for emissions testing. Needless to say, I will stay with my regular garage even though I have to drive out of my way to get there. read more

Seemed professional but way too expensive. More then the dealer. Replace valve cover gasket on an Acura $600+. Last thing I wanted to do was pick up car and pay a diagnostic charge just to bring it elsewhere but I felt like I was being charged way to much read more

My car runs fine. Mezzio's staff has been very helpful to me. I've been using them for years, for several vehicles.

I had a set of winter tires installed at this place. After it was complete and paid for, the service rep. recommended I get my battery changed some time in the near future since it was on the low side. I said "Ok, thanks, I'll do that soon." I then get in my car and it lags a bit before it starts. "Hm, weird." (should've been a red flag but I wasn't thinking clearly). I go down the same road for less than a mile and pull into Walmart. I do some shopping, come back to the car and it doesn't start. Battery is completely dead. I call up Mezzio and I get a different service rep. and he said he can't do anything to help me (like give me a jump) even though I'm right down the road. I guess I understand that they don't want to send employees off site due to liability reasons or something, but I just felt let down. I'm not a car expert, but it just seemed so bizarre my battery immediately dies after the rep. "recommended" that I get it changed soon. If it was that low, shouldn't you have told me to get it replaced before leaving the shop? Also I had my oil changed recently from the dealership and my battery health was fine when I had them check it. I get this inclination that while they were installing the tires and calibrating the new tpms sensors, their tech somehow just drained most of the battery by accident. Maybe I'm being unfair to them and I was just extremely unlucky. Maybe I'm just a dope and don't understand how car batteries work. Or maybe they screwed up. I don't know, it just left me with a bad feeling about the place. I then get a letter a month later letting me know the "recommended" services I should bring my car in for. The first one was "battery replacement." Really dude? read more

As far as an emissions testing center goes, this is a quick and reliant choice. I am able to walk right in and have no issues with payment or getting out quick. They handle everyone on a first come first serve basis unless an appointment was scheduled ahead of time. This is the fairest way and I never have to wait long when I am in a hurry to get it done. When it comes to maintenance work, I wouldn't be coming back here. I have had a difficult time with a check engine light on one of my vehicles and had to bring it back twice before I finally called it quits that Mezzio was not capable of fixing it. The car would just stutter worse and worse each week after having it fixed and the price was not even reasonable after checking parts and labor prices online for Naugatuck. They also wanted to charge me separate times for the same issue stating that it has to be a new problem. They were quite timely when it came to my problems and helpful in explaining the situation but I cannot get past the price and the inexperience of fixing the stuttering engine. read more

Had two flats and a busted wheel. They ordered the wheel and I had my car back the next day. They dropped me off at home in Beacon Falls the day it happened because I didn't have a ride available. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Thank you! read more

went for emissions testing at 7:45am, didn't open til 8:00am, waited until 8:05am then asked why he wasn't doing my car, he said because i didn't have an appointment, there was no one else there and he wouldn't take me in, very bad customer service in my opinion, I will never go there again. read more

Never had an issue. Always nice. Reasonably priced. VERY FAST SERVICE. I highly recommend this place!

After making an online appointment which was confirmed by them via email, I left work early to get to the shop. When I came in I was greeted in an unfriendly manner, like I was bothering them on a Friday afternoon. I told them I had an appointment and they all looked at me like I was crazy. No one knew anything about it and I was told they could not even talk to me now. I was totally turned off by the whole staff. I will never go back and be warned, the online appointment is a joke! read more

I used its service years ago. All I needed was to have two tires installed, but the serviceman went on to check my oil and coolant, the purpose of which was to push for more services, but the stupid serviceman did not lock my radiator cap back in place. A couple of days later I drove to Danbury to work, and the engine overheated. Messio's rejected all responsibilities. I had to spend over $1500 for the engine repair. I would stay away from such a place. read more

Very honest and reliable. Trust in the NAPA Auto Care program is key to this professional organization.

Just wanted to extend a huge and very heartfelt "thank you" to Chuck and all his associates at Mezzio Auto & Body Repair for going the "extra mile" for my daughter Emily. We live in California but needed a certified auto repair facility in Connecticut we could trust to do a thorough inspection on a used Jeep Liberty she was buying back there, especially since it had a myriad of mechanical issues which needed addressing. Chuck certainly gave her parents great peace of mind knowing there was someone honest we could rely on and who would insure the vehicle was operating as safely as could be expected. It turned out to be quite an adventure, requiring three separate trips back to Mezzio's (the second and third of which were free of charge) to follow-up on the problems the dealer was not fixing properly. I sincerely appreciate all the effort the folks at Mezzio's put into it. My only regret is we don't live closer so as to become regular repeat customers and take advantage of the excellent services on all our other vehicles . . . not to mention the "customer first" attitude of these nice people! read more
