I was walking my dog with my friend in her neighborhood -- surprisingly we both haven't been here despite them being in business for 8 years! I only feed my dog natural 1-2 ingredient treats and this place has plenty of them. From duck neck to chicken feet, and beef jerky. No preservatives either! They are very generous with the samples for the dogs too! Which is great because my dog is very picky, and there are only a few things he actually is motivated to eat. The staff here is very sweet and you can tell that they really really care about your dogs. They even have daycare / overnight care services. Ever since they had a pop up at the dog convention, we've been getting our doggy treats from here. We love that they have their own shop and that's it's very accessible. I placed a pick up order last night and it was ready for pick up around 1pm today (the next day). We went to pick up my order and I decided to buy one more treat since one was out from my original order. We were checking out the furikake seasoning but we decided not to get it. But after checking out, I believe she was the owner, she gave us a FREE sample of the furikake. It was about half the container or a little bit more and I was so surprised! She was so nice! NauDog is basically jerky for dogs. I don't have a dog, but when I doggysit my fur niece I always have to restock on her treats here. The jerky is super crispy like chips. They have lots of varieties to choose from. They have beef, chicken, pork, liver, etc. They even use some veggies like kabocha and sweet potato in their crisps. The prices are around $12 for a bag. It can add up, but they have a point system and I often have rewards to use. Parking is easy with metered parking right in front. I've never had to search for parking as that area is not very busy. I believe they do have a parking lot in the back of the building as well. The ladies are very kind and often give little sample bags of treats to try. If you have a pup give them a try! read more

Came here for a last second cake for my dog's 4th bday. We normally go to another shop in Manoa, but didn't know they were closed on Monday or because it's a holiday. Anyways, when I got here, it was unfortunate they were sold out of any cakes or cupcakes. The staff told me it's usually recommended to make an advance order, but because I needed it tonight, I went ahead bought other items. I ordered the recommended chicken/carrot jerky. They were nice enough to sell me a small custard loaf and Halloween themed cookie that they had on display since this morning. Overall, definitely expensive, but I think it's mostly like that anywhere else that sells dog-friendly healthy pastries, etc. If you enter the street that's across from the Dominoes Pizza Keeaumoku and drive all the way down to the corner, it'll be on your left hand side. There're meter parking right in front of the store or a large parking lot across the street from them, but I think you have to pay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dog Mama is amazing. Her treats are well-made and preservative free. We always give them to our dog and he's been hooked for 2 years now! He's somewhat of a picky eater, but he'll eat ANYTHING she makes. It definitely helps to entice him to eat his regular dog food when we throw in a treat or two. It's also great for training because dogs LOVE this stuff! So happy Dog Mama is still open throughout COVID. Bought treats for my girl for Christmas and a few of our furiends on the mainland. The pupcakes and baked goodies looked a little dated but still good. I will probably be making an order for my girl's birthday in January. Abundant samples which was awesome bc our 21 year old Pom is a very picky eater so having him try it before buying was helpful in choosing our purchases. The gentleman in the shop asked if our dogs had allergies before offering snacks to try. We were looking for something to help clean our dogs teeth, wound up with some duck necks and chicken gizzards. Also purchased some frozen joint jelly and frozen cottage cheese. Variety of flavors and meats including venison, chicken, beef, duck, and even tofu. Lots of whole foods used, too, including sweet potato, strawberry, carrots, quinoa, broccoli, kidney beans. Would definitely recommend this shop for dogs who are picky eaters and those who have allergies. You can sample before buying so don't end up with excess snacks your dog doesn't like.
