I'm so glad that I stumbled on this cute little dog treat store! I was walking my dog with my friend in her neighborhood -- surprisingly we both haven't been here despite them being in business for 8 years! I only feed my dog natural 1-2 ingredient treats and this place has plenty of them. From duck neck to chicken feet, and beef jerky. No preservatives either! They are very generous with the samples for the dogs too! Which is great because my dog is very picky, and there are only a few things he actually is motivated to eat. The staff here is very sweet and you can tell that they really really care about your dogs. They even have daycare / overnight care services. Now that I know how close it is to my friend's house, I'm sure we will stop by again soon! read more

These treats are 100% homemade with natural ingredients, so I can give them to my picky pup with a sensitive stomach without any worries. It's so nice to finally find something healthy and safe that my dog actually eats happily every time! Totally recommend read more

I highly recommend this adorable little dog treat shop! The staff is super friendly, and recommended two treats (beef jerky and chicken carrot sticks) that my picky family's pup absolutely loved! She told me everything is made right there using only natural ingredients, and no preservatives at all. That gave me peace of mind, and I can honestly say this is the first time I've felt good about what I'm feeding my family dog. Yes, the treats are a bit more expensive than big store ones, but they're totally worth it -- especially since nothing goes to waste! I'm happy to see my family's pup eating with joy. Highly recommend! read more

A very wide variety of heathy dog treats made with natural ingredients. Single ingredient treats to a proprietary blend, all made with whole foods. All ingredients are upfront on the label. I usually stop by a couple times a month to pick up a couple of bags. Excellent customer service, open daily, great hours. and very responsive to dm. This is a great small business that provides a great locally made product. read more

Horrible customer service and the girl wears a hat to hide from customers. If you're going to hire someone, please train them to talk to guests, answer questions generously and responsively, be enthusiastic about what you are selling and not just give one word answers, hoping customers leave so you can go back to doom scrolling on the phone all day. In 2024, can you actually bare not caring when you are a small business? Questions: 1. When did you open this shop? 2. Do you have raw milk for dogs? 3. Do you have any drinks for dogs? Answers: one word, "no" and "I don't know"... and look down and away hoping I leave read more

On a recent neighborhood walk, I finally got to visit this cute this place. It's primarily a dog treat store; all home made of real ingredients. It's easy enough to find, street parking in the area. They have a ton of selections of beef, chicken, and other meats all for a dog to love. Our pup really enjoys meat jerky and soft meat treats more than anything, so it's always fun to try new flavors for him. They come in zip-lock bags and plastic containers to maintain freshness. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality. The staff was friendly and welcoming, eager to help talk about the products and make recommendations. This is a must for any pet owner. read more

Ever since they had a pop up at the dog convention, we've been getting our doggy treats from here. We love that they have their own shop and that's it's very accessible. I placed a pick up order last night and it was ready for pick up around 1pm today (the next day). We went to pick up my order and I decided to buy one more treat since one was out from my original order. We were checking out the furikake seasoning but we decided not to get it. But after checking out, I believe she was the owner, she gave us a FREE sample of the furikake. It was about half the container or a little bit more and I was so surprised! She was so nice! I wish I got her name. But if you are looking for dog treats, this is the perfect spot! 100/10! read more

Came here for a last second cake for my dog's 4th bday. We normally go to another shop in Manoa, but didn't know they were closed on Monday or because it's a holiday. Anyways, when I got here, it was unfortunate they were sold out of any cakes or cupcakes. The staff told me it's usually recommended to make an advance order, but because I needed it tonight, I went ahead bought other items. I ordered the recommended chicken/carrot jerky. They were nice enough to sell me a small custard loaf and Halloween themed cookie that they had on display since this morning. Overall, definitely expensive, but I think it's mostly like that anywhere else that sells dog-friendly healthy pastries, etc. If you enter the street that's across from the Dominoes Pizza Keeaumoku and drive all the way down to the corner, it'll be on your left hand side. There're meter parking right in front of the store or a large parking lot across the street from them, but I think you have to pay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My dog loved the treats and the custard loaf (she better for the price that I paid for lol). read more

NauDog is basically jerky for dogs. I don't have a dog, but when I doggysit my fur niece I always have to restock on her treats here. The jerky is super crispy like chips. They have lots of varieties to choose from. They have beef, chicken, pork, liver, etc. They even use some veggies like kabocha and sweet potato in their crisps. The prices are around $12 for a bag. It can add up, but they have a point system and I often have rewards to use. Parking is easy with metered parking right in front. I've never had to search for parking as that area is not very busy. I believe they do have a parking lot in the back of the building as well. The ladies are very kind and often give little sample bags of treats to try. If you have a pup give them a try! read more

This local dog bakery and treats is great and convenient if you live in town. Near the corner of King st and Kaheka st, this small shop has a variety of homemade goods and toys for your dogs. Disgusting. I been coming here for almost 2 years and buy something everytime I come. I asked the lady if she can toss the poop bag I had and she said "okay" in a nice tone. The moment she took it she was talking sh*t in korean to her coworker and swearing basically saying "wtf telling me to throw poop away" in a disgusting tone. I was going to say something but I decided not to. She proceeded to be fake nice in english when I was at the cash register LMAO. It's a shame you have disgusting rude workers like this at a place for people who come in wanting to support local businesses. read more

Overpriced super old and stale treats. The girl that runs it was a complete B*itch to us. No hello and then when we left started talking trash about us. Only come here if you like to be ignored and overcharged. read more

Dog Mama is amazing. Her treats are well-made and preservative free. We always give them to our dog and he's been hooked for 2 years now! He's somewhat of a picky eater, but he'll eat ANYTHING she makes. It definitely helps to entice him to eat his regular dog food when we throw in a treat or two. It's also great for training because dogs LOVE this stuff! We even give these treats as gifts to friends and family for their dog's birthdays, christmas, new adoptions, etc. The price is a bit higher than what many folks may be used to, but we like knowing that we're giving our dog food that's good for him that he loves. As he ages, we think of the these "extra" gestures as investments in his good health and happy, long life. If you think about how much money you spend on food and snacks, it's really not much in comparison to splurge a little on your furry friend. Lastly, Dog Mama is the kindest, generous, sweetest person! She ALWAYS gives us extra treats for our dog to try, especially when she's got new recipes fresh from the dehydrator. Today, as we were headed out the door, she thoughtfully gave me some filters for my mask just because! She's so awesome and genuinely cares about both you and your pooch! Definitely stop by to support her and other local businesses if you can! Every little bit helps! read more

Gourmet dog treats that my dogs love! It is pricey, but if you have a pooch with a discerning palate, this is the place to be!

Everything made in store so it's fresh! Staff help is so friendly and helpful. No problem finding parking on street. Just stopped in to pick up some Christmas treats from my small dogs but they will be having some boxed Christmas treats available in the coming weeks. Only one star off as I prefer more fish based treats (they have mostly chicken and beef), but that's just a personal preference. (They do have a pollock powder and a chicken salmon treat.) read more

Treats 10/10 Customer service 10/10 Will always come back if in need of treats for my dog, she goes crazy for them!! She absolutely loves everything they provide, especially the new pup popsicles and her favorite, the duck neck. I love that all the snacks are homemade and all natural like it says on the label and they only use the healthiest ingredients for our pets. I was scared to visit at first because of the reviews of bad service but the young lady that helped me today was very very nice! She was friendly to both me and my dog, acting playful with her, and offered samples, explaining the key ingredient to each snack and it's benefits! So helpful !! read more

Small shop with dog treats but no bakery or other fresh items. The worst part is the young lady working who didn't even say hello or thank you. Also she was just on her phone and when answering questions just pretty much said no or yes. I wouldn't support this store as she was really rude and some of the samples they had for the dog treats were rock hard and probably a few years old. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

Went here on a Sunday 10/1/2023. I was a little skeptical since I had been reading reviews about rude employees, but decided to give it a shot anyways. I was immediately overwhelmed by the large variety and selection of doggie treats, including jerky, frozen snacks, and others. Thankfully, the employee saw my obvious confusion, and recommended some products after asking questions about my dog. Lea, my dog, is very particular when it comes to her food, but she absolutely loved these treats! I definitely will be back soon to buy some more! Overall great customer service, selection and experience! 10/10! read more

Ordered something from this store, got an email that it went through successfully, two days later I go in to pick it up and the younger lady at the counter tells me, i haven't been here for four days." Okay annnnd.... Then she says I canceled the order because we don't have it in stock. I kept my composure and said okay well why didn't anyone call me then and she repeats, " I haven't been here for four days." Okay well thank you and good bye, won't be coming back or recommending your store anytime soon. At first I wasn't going to write anything but I have seen a trend of the workers being rude so figure I'll help spread the word, be prepared when coming here for terrible customer service! read more

So happy Dog Mama is still open throughout COVID. Bought treats for my girl for Christmas and a few of our furiends on the mainland. The pupcakes and baked goodies looked a little dated but still good. I will probably be making an order for my girl's birthday in January. Still pricey, but it is good quality and you get what you pay for. Plus, they are always super nice when I go in there and give me treats to take home for my girl (since she's never been there). They updated their frequent buyer reward system (automated now) so it's much easier for them to find your information! Now that we're living on Oahu, you can bet we'll be back soon! read more

Easy to find using google maps, metered parking (bring quarters, it's $0.25 per 15 minutes). This shop was highly recommended by a friend for its use of fresh, whole ingredients and no preservatives. Small but spacious store, nice open areas for our dogs (we have 3) to walk and smell around. Several areas for both dogs and humans to sit. Easy to read signs and package labels, ingredients clearly listed. Clear packaging so you can see what you're buying. Resealable, easy to open packages and containers. Abundant samples which was awesome bc our 21 year old Pom is a very picky eater so having him try it before buying was helpful in choosing our purchases. The gentleman in the shop asked if our dogs had allergies before offering snacks to try. We were looking for something to help clean our dogs teeth, wound up with some duck necks and chicken gizzards. Also purchased some frozen joint jelly and frozen cottage cheese. Variety of flavors and meats including venison, chicken, beef, duck, and even tofu. Lots of whole foods used, too, including sweet potato, strawberry, carrots, quinoa, broccoli, kidney beans. Would definitely recommend this shop for dogs who are picky eaters and those who have allergies. You can sample before buying so don't end up with excess snacks your dog doesn't like. We will definitely be coming back as more products/flavor combos are created (and for more duck necks!). read more

Right from the get go, it was love at first sight. Once my fur babies laid their cute, little, beady eyes on Dog MaMa's adorable doggy take out bag. Dog MaMa prides themselves on their 100% organic doggy treats made locally in Hawaii. This is every fur mama's dream! This time around we purchased two chicken treats; one was a chicken jerky treat which my fur babies eat like potato chips. It is crunchy and addictive; forever leaving them wanting more. We also go the chicken and sweet potato fruit wrap which they take their time and enjoy (major plus). Overall, their prices are a little expensive. But you truly can't put a price and your furbaby's happiness. So when you have a special occasion for your baby or just wanna spoil them; check out Dog MaMa for yummy treats. read more
