I guess the…read moreprevious groomers no longer work for them because yesterday they were all new faces and young ones. New groomers with probably no experience handling medium to large size dogs. We have a norwegian elkhound/husky mix dog who is a frequent customer in this place. We always book the same service-bath/brush/furminator. They called to have our dog picked up as soon as possible because she was very stress and vomited once. She hates hair blower and having her paws trimmed and the old groomers already know that. They however they still managed to have her almost dry every time we pick her up. However, yesterday when she was pick up half her body is still mostly wet. Furminator was obviously not done because a lot of clumped second coat hair are sticking out. And they said she vomited 2x. I don't know why she became so stress to vomit 2x. This is a first for her. I suggest they train their new groomers well first before letting them handle bigger dogs or hire experienced dog groomers. So much for paying extra for a service which was not done and giving tip on top of that. My husband gave them a 25% tip because according to him the groomer was complaining a lot. i'm giving 2 star just because we are old customers and we used to like this place.

I was looking for a baby kitten, and thankfully I found exactly the little cat I was hoping for. The adoption process was easy and smooth, and you can really tell how much the staff cares about the animals. The cats are very well treated, and the conditions they are kept in are excellent. Everything was clean, organized, and the animals looked healthy, happy, and loved. Thank you to everyone at Joybound People & Pets for all the care and dedication you give to these animals. I truly recommend this adoption center!

Her mom adopted the sweetest chihuahua from Arf back in 2021, the fur baby went blind about a year ago. So we were really concerned about how she would settle in a new environment, and we're trying to rehome the dog I went to Joybound a few weeks ago to ask if there was any chance they take back their animals in these circumstances. The woman at the welcome desk was so helpful explaining yes they do. She walked me thru the process to fill out the forms online They got back to my friend promptly to setup an appointment for a behavior assessment and vet evaluation. We had our appointment yesterday at 2. We arrived a half hour early so we wouldn't be rushed , and to help Lily stay as calm as possible. Everyone we encountered was delightful and so kind. No judgements- Lily came alive with tail wags and enthusiasm to be back at such a supportive rescue group. She was just basking in the attention and love. She passed her behavior test with flying colors. We were told she most likely will be going to a foster home first for a few weeks before she's available for adoption. We were told we can follow her online with her name, and see when she becomes available and she won't be on the website anymore once she finds her next loving home. Thank you Joybound for standing behind your animals and supporting families We also did not have to pay a surrender fee. We were encouraged to take our time and enjoy complementary coffee or tea, also offered a box of tissues We were already pulling out of the parking lot before our scheduled appointment time Can't think you enough for your kindness all around this hard experience

Sabrina came out and worked with us and quickly zeroed in on the issue of the month Roscoe is such a joy to be around and I know it's because of Sabrina's skill with dogs and her understanding that it was us, the owner, that needed to be taught. My husband and I travel on occasion and we have pet sitters stay with at the house. At the end of the sit we provide blind reviews of each other that get posted on the pet sitting website. Here are some of the comments that were left all by different sitters: - "Roscoe, best dog ever!" -"a darling to pet sit for.... Very well trained and obeys very well" -"another great sit with Roscoe... So much fun on walks... Great at home" -"a ball of energy and a sweetheart" (he still had his puppy brain" Thank you Sabrina!

We have had a four sessions with her, all in which she worked within our schedules and came to our house to make happen. Each and every session, we learn more and more and our Scottie, Ruckus has improved. Of course, it takes practice and dedication of the owners to train a dog, but Sabrina provides you with all the knowledge and tools you need to successfully do so. She is like the female Cesar Milan, dogs just respect her from the start, it's cool to see! With our dog, we have more advanced service dog training. Even if you don't intend to have your dog perform at service dog level, I seriously recommend getting at least one session of training just to make your life easier with your dog. You won't regret it! I feel like I have learned so much with her help and so happy I found her! Thanks Sabrina for all you do!!

The initial consultation went very well, and I learned so much about dog communication and how to better support Peaches. I also learned that she is a highly anxious dog, which explained many of the challenges I had been concerned about. We enrolled in Gary's six-week program and finished with the tools and knowledge needed to keep Peaches on the right track toward recovery. Just like humans, dogs rehabilitate at their own pace, and over those six weeks Peaches made significant progress. We're looking forward to enrolling in advanced training once she's ready so she can enjoy more freedom off-leash. Gary is not like other trainers we've worked with. He doesn't rely on obedience-based shortcuts or gimmicks. Instead, he teaches you how to work through real situations and explains the theory behind his approach so you truly understand what's happening and how to handle stressful moments. Most importantly, Gary teaches you how to become the focal point for your dog, which has made a lasting difference for us.

From day one, it was clear he knows his stuff and loves what he does. A lot of the time, Giorgi was too overwhelmed to participate. On day 1, Giorgi hid under a table the whole session. But that's ok because Gary was really training us. By the last session, Giorgi was walking around, watching other dogs and people walk by, and still listening to commands. Gary taught us how to help Giorgi feel safe, calm him down when he's stressed, and build trust. We've already seen such a difference at home. Gary is knowledgeable, patient, direct (in the best way), funny, and available when you have questions. He celebrated every little win with us! You can tell he truly cares about the dogs he works with. We still have more work to do, but thanks to Gary, we know how to keep moving forward. If you have a dog with anxiety or fear, seriously, go to Gary. He's the real deal.
