I went in 2021 to get fitted for contacts, decided to do a year supply and it was $600 lol I had to do a $300 downpayment and get half and then pick up the other half in 3mos. I didn't go back because someone told me $600 was insane for a year supply and to go to CostCo instead. In between that time of me waiting for 3mos I decided I wanted to get my prescription instead and buy glasses online. I went in and asked for my prescription but they sent me to the back to pick it up, there was a lady who doesn't wear glasses and a lady who does, I got the lady who doesn't and she was so rude for no reason, she asked why I needed it and then when I told her I was going to get glasses elsewhere she looked at me like I was crazy and gave me my prescription without saying anything else lol. Before they used to charge you $10 to get that little paper but it was brought up to the board of idk and was a whole thing where they made it unlawful so now they can't charge you to get your prescription printed out. read more

I recently came in for an eye exam at the Madera location for the first time, since it had been 5 or 6 years since my last one, but it was at their Fresno Location. Their Fresno location, their vibe was off. The ladies in the Fresno office were rude and unhelpful didn't show me the glasses that my insurance covered but showed me some designer frames instead to make their sales. I just asked for my prescription and the woman gave me some weird look. So I had been dreading getting another exam. I made the appointment for Madera because they were the fastest to get me in. The vibe was completely different! Not only did I ask for my prescription and receive it without an ugly rude face, but I was shown the glasses my insurance covered as well. The ladies had a good attitude, they were super helpful nice and courteous even when the office filled up fast and their system was down, they were still nice and the doctor was dope too. He actually cared about his assistants asking if they got to work ok (one of the workers cars was down, yall yes im nosey) Everyone came into work wanting to be there, no stank face, or anything. I will ONLY be coming to this location. Fresno should really learn something from this office. I'll travel the 45 minutes to come to this office. read more

Walking in, I was greeted by the friendly front desk staff, Alicia and Martha. The office was full but quickly realized how productive they were, and making sure everyone was seen in a timely manner. My wait wasn't too long. I was provided exceptional service by the doctor and the staff who assisted me as well. Thank you Ashley, and the other team members that assisted. The staff provided me accurate information about my insurance, gave me a breakdown of what I was paying during the time of my visit. I left with both my contact and glasses prescription. Well my daughter and myself have both been to this location and what I can say is they need to work on there customer service. The front office is very dry and when you ask a question they make you feel like you are bothering them! After my daughter had been waiting almost a month for her glasses. I decided to finally call and I was told they had been there for 2 weeks! I then took my child from school because she needs her glasses and she plays sports. However when I take her to get her glasses of course there is a wait no problem but when I ask for a Dr note for school I'm told she only gets one if she is seen by the Dr. ok so I pulled my child out of school to come to your office and you will not provide a note!! So what do I tell my child's school? When I told them I was taking her to pick up her glasses!! And the school requires a note!! What's the problem you are seeing my child in your office that should never be a issue. That needs to be changed!!!! If my child is your patient and is coming in to get her glasses doesn't matter the time she should have been given a note for school that cost you nothing but some time and a stamp on a a paper!!! And the women who helped us had a attitude!! Customer service is key! read more

If I could give them lower than a star, I would. This place is absolutely ridiculous with how much they charge for glasses & a vision exam. $1000 to walk out the door is beyond excessive. When I called to cancel my dads glasses due to the fact I know he was being ripped off, they said they couldn't cancel them because they had already been sent to the lab & we would have to pay a "lab cancellation fee of $400". They completely take advantage of people here. I would HIGHLY suggest to find a more honest eye doctor that won't get every penny they can squeeze out of you. My dad didn't even understand what he was paying for, and me knowing what a pair of glasses & an exam cost... these people want to bleed you dry. They won't refund you either, because supposedly the glasses are sent to the lab same day. Steer away from this place. read more

This is part of an optometrist group that have locations in Madera, Fresno and Chowchilla. The service in general is good and polite. In my visit, they were running late like 45 minutes... I don't know if it was because I was a first timer or because they had too many people appointed at the same time. The place is very clean, their equipment looked updated and their doctor was competent and friendly. I cannot tell you about prices because my insurance covered it. They have personnel that speak Spanish. A good experience and i recommend it... Just be sure to give a margin of time when you make your appointment. read more

I have been going to Natural Vision for about 10 years. I've have the best Eye Doctor, Dr. Paz is Amazing. I've been wearing glasses since the 5th grade. I didn't know I had a eye condition until I met Dr.Paz. He explained everything to me and helped me get the best Eye care treatment that's best for me. Dr. Kaye and his staff have always been so helpful and knowledgeable. While in town recently, I decided to get a check up with Dr. Kay. Imagine my surprise when he told me that my cataract had grown to 75% of my lens! I ended up having cataracts removed from both eyes on two different surgery days. The procedures and both recoveries went smoothly. I'm so grateful that Dr. Kaye made the connection between my eyesight problems and the cataract that has consumed most of my lens. Two other optometrists I had been to in the last couple years did not connect vision problems to the cataract. So I bought needless amounts of contact lenses, lens cleaners, and glasses hoping to find a solution to my unclear site. My prescriptions were -7 and -8. Now post surgeries, my prescription is -1.25! For the first time in my life, after wearing contact lenses for 42 years, I can finally choose stylish eyeglass frames! I did so today, ordered three pair, and look forward to getting them within the next two weeks. Dr. Kaye is highly skilled and I would recommend him to any of my friends for Obtaining the current assessment of there I help especially in regards to the state of the retina and glaucoma. I'm giving them 1 star because the front office staff was professional and kind to me; I can't say that for the Drs. Dr David Kay was unprofessional and rude to me I waited almost 3 hours before I left without a refill for my eye medication. Saw a Dr sorry never got his name it was my second visit he was an Asian man saw him week before last I originally saw Dr Wiens he was great I had an eye infection he prescribed 2 antibiotics for 5 days. I returned a week later for a follow up when I saw the Asian Dr he said, "your eyes are great, I won't need to see you for another year. I said, " but my eyes still hurt." Dr said, "just finish your Meds your eyes are fine see you next year." 3 days later my eye were in excruciating pain and I had extreme light sensitivity with pain; I was really frightened; Dr told me my eyes were fine and that I didn't need a refill on my Meds he'd see me next year!?!? Then why all the pain and light sensitivity in just 3 days! I couldn't see had to keep my eyes closed my family had to help me walk. I called Natural Vision received an appointment the next day. I informed the tech that I wanted to see a different Dr since I wasn't better my trust in the Asian Dr ( sorry) I didn't get his name was very low. But the same Asian Dr came in anyway he was visibly upset cause I didn't want to see him; he aggressively told me, "I'd have to sign a waiver releasing him of all liability!?!?" What liability since my eyes were great and I didn't need a refill right? I'm good for a year?!? The Dr was mistaken and he was upset with me! He left then he came back again and abruptly started to examine my eyes, I was shaken up I asked that I not see this Dr twice but he didn't care! I pulled away and said, "I'd like to see the other Dr or the Dr Wiens, again the Asian Dr roughly said, "I needed to sign a waiver releasing him of liability" He left then Dr David Kay came in and sternly said, "Ms Woods let me do my job and examine you." I said, nothing, this is what I wanted a different Dr but Dr Kay now was upset with me, why? I had never met or talked to him at all. Dr Kay told me that, " I needed to calm down that I was all over the place and that I was irritated and hostile! I was astonished and shocked Dr Kay examined my eyes then told me that, " I was just emotional and all over the place." Still I said, nothing, I think I was in shock that this Dr I never met or talked to had such a horrible description of me because I refused service of his colleague so they both we're going to assassinate my character cause they both were angry. Dr Kay took me to another room and had a Tech do a eye ultra sound on me and left me there for another hour. I said, nothing and waited patiently, Dr Kay returned thanked me for waiting, I said, "you're welcome but where would I go?" Dr Kay, snapped at me and said, " what did you say?" I repeated, "where would I go?" Dr Kay just grunted. Dr Kay asked me, "may I be frank with you?" I said, "sure, I thought he was going to do his job and talk to me about my eyes! But no, Dr Kay told me, "that I reminded him of his sister she's all over the place too and that because I'm obese and emotional I'm healthy as a horse and that he wasn't going to give me anything for my pain in my eyes that I was fine just obese and emotional." Dr David Kay said that, " I needed to take Zumba classes and start walking exercises TOMORROW!" This is an eye Dr!!! Then Dr David Kay says come back 8/17/15 for a light eye laser surgery?!?! Thought I was as "healthy as a horse?" Then why schedule me for surgery and refuse a refill for eye pain and light sensitivity medication? These Drs are looney, egotistical and lack professionalism. I will never go there again! I left went to another optometrist office and received a refill for my eye pain and light sensitivity all under 30 minutes! Dr David Kay and his Asian Asst. Can go kick rocks they're an embarrassment to their profession. Pathetic and ridiculous men I wouldn't take my dog to see them let alone a person I cared about! Skip this place by all means! This business gets 2 stars because the people are kind and polite. It loses 3 stars because I have had multiple billing issues. The first happened 2 years ago, I paid in full after a visit and still received a bill for the amount that was paid. After finding a receipt that was forgotten about I was able to resolve the issue. I gave their billing Dept. The benefit of doubt that it was an honest mistake and continued to do business with them. I recently had to pick up my wife's glasses and had to wait 45 minutes to pick them up even though they were paid for and a month later still received a bill for the amount I already paid.
