My massage here was amazing! I opted for 30 minutes acupressure and 30 minutes reflexology. The acupressure massage is done lying on your stomach and works on your back, arms, and legs. The reflexology massage is done lying on your back and focuses mainly on your feet but with some work on your shins too. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely return. I was initially worried that the mall noise may bother me because the massage is in the mall rather than a private room, but the mall chatter ended up becoming like white noise in the background. The massage is done with all clothes on, so I wore loose clothes. The provided a small bin to stack all personal belongings (shoes, anything in pockets, jackets). A bunch of tables crowded together. While getting a massage, the guy next to me, a few inches away, snoring like a buzz saw. Then an employee pulls up a chair and starts eating a meal two inches from my table. WTF? Another employee on the other side, also a few inches away, listening non-stop video on her phone with sound blaring, no earphones. Then the "massage therapists" start screaming back and forth to each other over the clients on the tables, non-stop, cackling, so the ambiance is like getting a massage from short-order cooks during dinner rush at a restaurant. Best massage in the area. I go here 1-2 times a week for an hour to an hour and a half massage. Sure, it's a fully-clothed, open-air facility. With it, there are outside noises that can't be helped, but I will promise you, the massages are so good, all that will melt away with your stress. No other place is better than this, I've shopped around. Every time i venture out, to other establishments, i'm disappointed by the sub-par experience. This place is the place I go to unwind after a stressful workweek, it's where I go to fix sore muscles after a half marathon or after a weekend of climbing/hiking mountains in WV. Your experience depends entirely on the masseuse you get. If you must make a quick decision on-the-spot, and you prefer stronger, more painful bodywork, check out hand size and muscle tone and go on that. If you are given someone who has the build of my septuagenarian 5'0" mom, don't have high hopes for a cathartic knead fest. By far the best practice is to call ahead and speak with the manager/owner (they're usually the one who answers the phone and rings the register). Ask them about which of their staff would be best for the type of massage you prefer. They watch everyone doing their thing all day long and know who puts forth the most effort. Nothing worse than getting a weak effort and seeing the person next to you getting pounded on for the same hourly rate. I've been here twice. Both times were okay, middle-of-the-road experiences. Easily the best mall massage I've had. First the only negative that I can think of is the fact that it's in a room with a bunch of other people, and open to the mall, so it's not really quiet. I got a 40 minutes massage (20 feet 20 body) and it was $45. The massage itself was amazing. It's clothes on, so I recommend wearing loose clothes. They used a combination of techniques to massage the stress and knots out of my back, and used lotion on hands, neck, and shoulder area. I appreciated the fact they actually did the neck and head because I've noticed a lot of places only focus shoulders and lower. The foot massage was also really good. Finally got around to using my gift certificate for a 60 minute massage that I got for my birthday. I had been looking forward to using it all week. Upon entering, I was greeted and escorted to a bed. The guy/masseuse was very nice, but the massage was sooooo firm that I had sore muscles for 3 days afterwards. For background purposes, I don't shy away from a good firm massage but this was too rough for me. It's possible that I would go back, but I'll take recommendations from the other reviewer on her to call ahead and ask for the best person based upon my requests. One thing that I didn't like was the masseuse could my tip that I gave. I don't know if it was a way to make sure I wasn't under tipping ( I gave 20%) or what but it made me feel weird. read more

They charged $60 per hour and $20 tips for one hour message. I can't understand why they charged the tips amount too. 30% tips are too much and tips are depended on customers. I feel like they are robbing from us. Now they lose the customers. If they gonna charged the $20 tips, they should write it down or tell the customers before they start. Very rude! read more

Honestly, don't get a massage here if you're not willing to bargain for tips. I brought my mother here for Mother's Day before lunch. While we were waiting for the next available person, we overheard the exchange at checkout. A lady was checking out and stated "$15 tip for each person (2 people)" and the lady checking her out said "how about $20 each?" Making the tip $40 total. My mom got a 60min massage which was $60 and I got a 20 min foot massage which was $25. I tipped $20 total on top of the check and the lady that did my feet was like "only $20????" And started yelling obnoxiously in her language. This was highly unprofessional and lady, a $10 tip on a $25 service is 40% tip. Get real. This is your business and you guys make profit off of it to begin with. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

This place is hit or missed. Depends on who massages you. Some don't even speak English so hard to tell them how you want massages done. They need to change head/face rest more often. Smells like stinky gym locker room or someone armpits. Prices are ok. Reflexology is good. But no miracles workers. read more

I was a bit skeptical about trying this place out but went there for the convenience and recommendation from other yelpers. I was really sore and aching everywhere so I did the 60 min acupuncture massage. The place is definitely not luxurious or a typical massage place you would go to. However, they have a soothing music playing in the background and once you lay down you won't really notice anything. I had so much knot in my back that it was painful at times but after he was all done, I felt so much better. He literally took all my knots out and my whole body felt so much more relaxed. They definitely know what they are doing. It has been about a week since I got the massage but I can tell my whole body blood flow is better and not as sore. I might suggest that they make the place smell a bit nicer esp where you lay your head. I think that would have made the experience more relaxing. Other than that, if you like the Chinese massage, go try them out! read more

My roommate loves this place, so I end up coming when she wants to get a massage. It's the only place I've been to where it's possible for both of us to get a simultaneous session with 2 women masseuses. It's run by Chinese people. They have normal beds and generic lotions. There isn't really a quiet, spa-like environment save for the dim lighting. If you want a decent massage, this will do. I have worked with the thin, tallish Chinese woman who has surprisingly strong hands. I'd like to imagine maybe she's an undercover Shaolin master or something and this shop is just a front for...a covert Chinese martial arts gang. That would make a cool movie. read more

Great place and very casual feel to it. Walked in and was greeted with enthusiasm. He pointed to the price board and asked how many minutes. It's basically almost a dollar a minute, not to bad. Plus tip ran it to $70.00. All clothes on and boy did those hands do work for such a small guy. All my knots were relaxed and my body feels great. They definitely know what areas needed work and applied more attention in those areas. Full disclosure...I left before I was seen. And here's why... 1) there is a sign that says customers must wear masks at all times however that was not enforced with people waiting or those getting a massage...several were maskless 2) I watched three people get off a massage table after their service, and two of those tables were NOT sanitized afterwards...on the 3rd table, the massage therapist did spray the table with a cleanser but he used the towels the customer was just laying on (and maybe slobbering on) to wipe the table AND the face rest. I didn't see any therapist sanitize their hands between customers and one therapist was coughing/hacking in his mask. Nope, no thank you, I left. read more

They took my mother and me without an appointment (which I believe is standard) and we had a 30 minute massage and then 20 minutes of reflexology each. The massage was good, if a little painful at times. I could tell the man had no formal training in massage techniques, but a good deal of experience. Left there feeling very good. They gave my mother and I a $10 discount, not sure why, but I flipped it back around in tip, plus some. My only real critique was that my masseuse was sniffling. I think he had a cold. It would have been nice to see him wash his hands before starting, or better yet, not sniffle at all. I thought it was good, my mom liked it a lot, so I'm giving it 4 stars :-) read more

.This was my first massage ever and I would not recommend it for a first timer. Granted, I wasn't prepared for massage at the mall. My husband urge me to get one after we had eaten (no-no), we walked in, chose the time and got on the tables. The gentleman that worked on me was very rough and I did have to tell him to slow down and lighten up a little bit several times. He really worked my upper back so hard that the next day it was swollen and had welts!! I don't know if they used some kind of oil because i never removed any of my clothes, of course, but I tend to believe that they put something on my skin that I have a allergic reaction to and now my back is painful to move. Anyway, when the massage was over he slapped his hand and said I'm done and can get up. I sat on the side of the table for a second because I felt really lightheaded after that. And when I tried to hop off the table I nearly fell to the floor. That is NOT how it should be! they should've helped me off the table and especially after seeing my reaction to the massage, they should have escorted me to a chair somewhere so that I could get my bearing straight again. After seeing how I was reacting, yes he was kind enough to offer me some water and I accepted, he came back with THE smallest cup of water from the tap that I have ever seen in my life I drink it in one gulp and asked if I could sit down in the front of the store because I really felt woozy. Massages are serious things. Blood and lymphatic drainage is happening and you should just hop off the table and run a marathon or pick up on errands as if nothing happened. I'm debating if I'll ever do that again but if I do it WONT be there! read more

This is my go-to for an affordable, quick, effective massage. It looks a little rough around the edges from the outside, but despite appearances, I've been coming here consistently for the past few months and I must say they never disappoint with their treatments! The acupressure massage leaves me feeling totally relaxed and never sore afterwards. 30 minutes is my usual time and it's always great and never rushed. They really hit all the right pressure points and work out all the kinks from your neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, and legs. I always feel wonderful after my massage! The foot massage is just as good, but they use a lot more lotion so if you don't like the feeling of lotion on your feet afterwards, I would do the acupressure instead. I've never have to wait for a massage no matter what time of day I come. Highly recommend! read more

I was skeptical but willing to give it a shot based on other reviews. It's located near the entrance between Burlington and Off Broadway Shoes but inside the mall. It's a separate store space but the beds are all next to each other, no curtains between and while they play relaxing music it's hard to hear over the mall noises. Still, a little more private than the massage space in the center of the mall. You keep your clothes on and they have hooks for jackets and a bin for purses or anything else. They put a paper towel over the face rest so that's decently clean. I went on a Saturday evening and had about a 10-minute wait, and every bed was full. They do a good business and I can see why. I only did 30 minutes and thought for 30 minutes it was well worth the price. I paid $35 but they offer discounted rates during the week before 2 pm. It was just what I needed. It's not as sleek or pretty as a lot of places-but you could bring headphones and it would be just fine. It was honestly a great massage, and I can't deduct a star because I didn't love the setting-what you see is what you get here. But what a great little gem. I'll have a hard time paying more for an okay massage again just because the setting is a little nicer. This place gets it done and gets you on your way. read more

I was finally able to come back in and give Natural Relaxation another try. Trying to find the place in Arundel Mills Mall is thankfully easy; it's the first thing you see as you come into the entrance right between Burlington Coat Factory and Medieval Times By luck, I happened in early enough for their special of 10% off, and so with a 20 minute table massage and a $3 tip it came to $25 total. Good deal. Apparently they do this almost every day. This time there was no wait. I was taken back right away and given a covered box to put my things in. The lady helping me asked before we started where I feel I carry my stress, and I was pleased with the extra effort she took to make sure those areas were worked well. She asked in advance if I would prefer strong or soft and she noticed my body language when she got to my arms (my upper arms are overly sensitive and hurt easily) and stopped to ask if I was okay before I even said anything. She was extra careful with my arms after that and I felt I could relax more knowing it wouldn't be an issue. I felt especially taken care of that she included a moisturizer when she got to my hands, and when the little alarm clock told her my time was up she continued to finish rubbing my scalp, then pat down my back a little even after the buzzer stopped. About four hours later I was telling a friend that I feel great; just fantastic. There's a kind of alert, healthy feeling to getting rid of all your stress and muscle tension, and I've paid more for massages that failed to make me feel this refreshed well after the day had ended. Thanks to the in-and-out convenience, quick drive from my house, low prices, and the way i feel right now, I think I'll be getting a massage here when ever I need a me day. read more

First of all, you should know that this is an Asian place. And I'm not bagging on Asians, but English is not their first language...in fact, you will only be able to speak English in broken sentences, and the staff will communicate with each other in...I think it's Mandarin. So they will talk to each other, and then in broken English, let you know what they come up with. I went looking for head neck and back, in a chair massage. But their space is one open room, with a couple of dividers at the front. Behind the dividers are a couple of rows of what look like cots in a barracks, though they are real massage beds. So the place almost has a feel like you are off a street in Asia. I asked for 20 minutes. She says "you want whole body?" Uh, sure... "you need 30 minutes" Uh, ok. So, once we got going, she really only spent about a minute on my legs. Most everything was on my back, and shoulders. She did do a bit on my neck. She seemed to have no real professional technique at all, and for much of my time, it seemed to be repeating similar movements...almost like she was just trying to burn off the time. At the end of the 30 minutes, her alarm went off, and she asked if I wanted more time...uh no. You don't know how good a massage is until say an hour afterward. An sometimes a massage can do more harm than good. While I won't go that far...this wasn't a greatly refreshing experience. I ended up feeling more worked than relaxed. And she caused a sore spot in my back that took a few hours to go away. A good thing is that this place is cheap. $35 for a 30 minutes massage is half what I am used to paying at say...any airport lounge. I won't be back. read more

I used to like this place but had an awful experience today. I went there to get a head and shoulder massage. I had to lay face down, the sheets weren't clean. The guy kept using his elbow and the massage was painful instead of relaxing. I told him it was painful but he either didn't speak English or ignored or both. What's even worse, he touched private areas between buttocks 4-5 times that made me very, very uncomfortable. He touched my left arm with his private and he smelled awful. I couldn't stand it, got up and told them how inappropriate was his behavior. I had to pay $25 for a 20-minute torture and left very upset. read more

I asked for a 30 minute service, pointed at the sign with the price/minutes but when she started she told me about it would be 20 minutes on body and 20 minutes on feet (all I had went to this place for) . She was struggling to speak in English, so I said ok thinking it was part of what I had pointed to on the sign. BIG SURPRISE when I went to pay. When I asked why there was such a different from what I had asked for and what I was charged, she tried telling me that I had a different service. She couldn't speak English and had someone else try to explain it.. After 5 minutes of both individuals struggling to explain why it was such an upcharge, I just left.
