Very professional and welcoming massage place! I've tried another Massage Crystal in the area and that one did not measure up to the Pasadena location. First of all, the front desk receptionist, Claire, has impeccable customer service skills. I've seen her juggle multiple customers in person, and on the phone all while maintaining her friendly and professional service to everyone. They have a waiting room where you can drink water before or after your service, a very tidy bathroom, and nice massage rooms (single and couples). The masseuses are all very sweet, and great at massaging. However, some can be a bit heavy handed even after requesting light or medium pressure at the reception. But they also respond to body cues and check in throughout the massage to ensure you are comfortable and okay with the pressure. They allow you to choose a female or male therapist and customize the massage. I believe you can also get a discount if you pay in cash. I normally get the 60 minute swedish massage and I always feel refreshed after. Also love how late they open and accommodate last minute appointments by phone. Highly recommend! read more

I was able to get squeezed in for a same day massage. It was a no-frills establishment, but one of the best I have had. My masseuse worked out all of my knots and made me feel so relaxed. She checked up on me frequently to make sure pressure was okay and asked me for my preferences on focus points. I would very much prefer this place over the high end places if I need a massage. This is my second time having a massage here. My husband gave me a gift certificate because he knows how I feel about massages. The prices are very reasonable. I usually get a sixty minute massage with oil. The first time I came here there was a mis- communication and I was somewhat disappointed. I voiced my disappointment to the desk and they will try and do whatever they can to make it right. They actually offered me a discount on my next visit. I really appreciate that and the second visit was awesome! I had Tina and she constantly asked if everything was ok. I enjoyed my massage including my stones and I will be requesting her for my next visit. This is a very nice massage parlor. I was clearly heard by the management team with my last review. the customer service was phenomenal. they reached out to me within 24 hours and listened to my concern and offered me to come back and have a massage with another therapist. reluctant as I was, I decided to go and boy, I'm so glad I did. So the last part of my Father's Day adventure lead me to a surprise massage. The last few weeks at work had me dealing with a pain in my lower back so this was much needed. It's located is a mini shopping center so parking shouldn't be an issue. The outside is a bit deceptive because once you get in the place has a real calming peaceful vibe to it. Prior to coming to massage crystal we always went to woodhouse in Gaithersburg. These places couldn't be anymore different, however for the price and quality, I prefer massage crystal. The lobby area is clean and cute, the massage rooms themselves are clean and tidy. I usually do a 90 min massage with hot stones and essential oils every week or every other week for $115. If you pay cash, you get a stamp card. 10 stamps=free 1hr massage or can be applied to a longer massage just subtract the price of the 60 min. I usually do lavender essential oil. The medicated is similar to icy hot/tiger balm but in an oil. My all time favorite masseuse is Sunny. I ask for her every time, after the 2nd time she knows exactly what to do without me having to ask. I love that. Emily is also great. Some of the other masseuses are a bit too rough for my liking and they all sort of differ in the way they go about the massage. Oftentimes, I am able to get a same day appointment or at least the next day at the time I want, which is really convenient. They have a sauna but I have never used it personally. Glad someone recommended this place to me because it has become apart of my schedule. read more

The oil was warm, slick, and applied liberally. By the end, I felt like they had opened me up in ways I didn't know were possible. Tension? Gone. Resistance? Melted. My massage was 90 minutes and was definitely 5 stars. The only reason I am dinging this place a star is failing to be upfront. I know reading is fundamental. How we when offered essential oils I had no idea they were 15 bucks. I suppose that explains why they lather it on. If I had been told hey it's 15 dollars here are some options. I probably would have not gotten it, not really worth it. I can think of better things to do with 15 bucks. This place is great very clean and I was able to get an appointment the same day! I'm new to the area and I drove about 35 minutes to get there but if it was an hour I'd probably do it. I asked for a special accommodation and that was met with no issue. This is my favorite massage place! I've done single massages and this time I booked a couples massage for me and my boyfriend and it was more than perfect. The room was set up very clean with a rose on each bed. I used the bathroom prior and it was very clean. The oil they used was warm and felt amazing on my skin. Afterwards they used hot towels to wipe off the oil which was very relaxing. The full body massage was perfect they even massaged my scalp and head. I also loved how mannerly they were with privacy they put the sheet on areas they weren't massaging. I had Lisa and she was perfect with how deep she massaged. My first massage service was 2 years ago here at this spot. The masseuse was open to my liking when it comes to pressure. You could tell they wanted to make sure I was satisfied and my pain was relieved. It was clean, staff were kind, and the price was amazing based on the service they gave me. The place is clean and looks modern for a massage place, no creepy old furniture haha. The massage room was also clean. They play relaxing spa music and have heated massage oils unlike some places that have room temperature massage oils that then feel cold when the masseuse applies to your skin.
