And I've heard others groan about it too. Maybe adding a door to the massage area?? Regardless these are wonderful quality Asian traditional massages or Swedish if you prefer. $50 for one hour semmed like a steal compared to other massage places in the hour. You get what you pay for. After walking in my husband and i wanted to walk out. The place is not very clean. The staff had trouble communicating. They have four rooms available. The rooms are below average and I was wondering if they change the sheet. The worst part about this place is that you can hear when people enter and conversations that people are having. My massage was ok but I won't be returning. My husband had an awful experience. Her phone kept going off during the massage. I don't know why she didn't put it on vibrate. She finally answered it after numerous "dings" telling her she had text messages. She responded to the text which interrupted the massage. Not relaxing at all. After the massage was finished they started talking in a language I didn't understand. I'm pretty sure they were talking about us. We will not be returning. I would also like to point out that they did not have any certification posted. Before I went to Evergreen for my hot stone massage, I read some of the reviews, which were a mixed bag - a lot negative, and a few positive. Despite the reviews, I went to my massage hopeful (and excited about the good price). However, unfortunately, I was not impressed. I spent my hour and a half hot stone massage basically just getting lightly rubbed with oil. I told my masseuse that she could use more pressure, but she just laughed. At one point in the massage, my masseuse spent at least ten minutes rubbing my calf in the same place to the point where it was getting uncomfortable and a little weird. I started to think maybe she's looking at her phone to pass the time... Anyway, it was a very bizarre experience and I can't recommend this place to anyone, which is too bad because the price was so good, but unfortunately not worth it. I hate to post a negative review but today was the 2nd time recently where I have had bad experience. The first time I was a walk-in; after saying that they had time, I was led to a room and prepared for my massage. Minutes passed....and then the masseuse came in to tell me that they wouldn't be able to see me. (Would have been nice to know up front.) Today I made an appt before going for a 1 hr massage and wrote on the sheet 1 hour. The masseuse quit after 20 minutes. Ugh. I just picked my wife up from what was supposed to be a relaxing mother's massage. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. It started late, was a little short of the 60 minutes I bought, and the masseuse used my wife as a phone stand! Yeah, the last one seemed crazy to me too, but my wife said the masseuse would put the phone on her butt and text with one hand while massaging with the other. This went on for about 20 minutes and she didn't stop until my called her out on it at least 3 times! I have NEVER written a yelp review but I just had to this time. This place is a disaster... called ahead for an appt yesterday and when I got there 10 minutes prior to my appt time, a woman came out (just to the entrance between the back area and small dirty lobby), never looking up from her phone. She glances quickly at me and asks "315?". I say yes, and she continues to stare at her phone totally still while I stand there awkwardly wondering what she wants me to do. I finally just sit down and a full 2 minutes later she just turns abruptly and walks in the back (what the heck??). She comes back a few minutes later and I ask if I can use the ladies room and she leads me to the little room where I suppose I'll be getting my massage and I have to ask again where the restroom is, like she forgot in the 4 seconds it took to walk back. Anyway, I'll just list the rest of this issues during this debacle of a massage. 1. The bathroom is gross and completely not remodeled (if you can call it that) like the rest of the place 2. Once I got back to my little room she just says "face down" and closes the curtain. I start to get undressed and about 20 seconds later she starts to move the curtain asking if I'm ready, so I snatch the curtain and say no, I need a second and she stands RIGHT OUTSIDE the curtain while I rush to get my clothes and shoes and jewelry off because I feel like she's about to do it again. 3. The timer they have is a harsh little kitchen timer thing. Made me feel like I was a turkey on a timer lol 3. She texted the ENTIRE time I was face down. I could tell because she would pause, only use one hand sort of absentmindedly on whatever body part she was on, then put something down and start again. She was nice enough I guess, but barely spoke unless I said something. 4. She had about 3 full conversations in a different language with someone right outside the curtain, 3 feet away. 5. She LEFT THE ROOM entirely THREE times, for reasons unknown, without telling me, for over a minute a few times!! Sometimes I didn't even realize because I thought she was just moving around the bed, but I'd look up and she'd be GONE!! Then I'd hear her outside the room talking to someone. Not to mention who knows what she was touching out there (besides her phone) and then coming right in to touch me. 6. There is NO way she is a licensed massage therapist, there was barely a rhyme or reason to her massage, she would do things on one side of me and not the other, she kept trying to massage parts of my body with no muscle, like my very low back above my butt that's literally bone. I had to ask her to please stop. She worked on my back so long that I knew there was no way there was going to be time to do the rest so I had to ask her to please move on to something else, and she was like "oh, that's enough, ok!", like she'd forgotten how long it had been. Probably because she was completely distracted by her phone!!! 7. At the end they use these nice hot towels to get the lotion off (which smelled like Johnson's baby lotion), but she scrubbed me down like I was a bedridden patient getting a bed bath. Total opposite of relaxing, it was downright embarrassing. 8. When she finally finished I went to pay up front and (shocker) her face was in her phone and I had to stand there for a minute right in front of her until she dragged herself away to look at me. She said "paying cash?", and initially I said yes because I had enough to do that. But then I realized I needed cash for later in the day so I said actually I'll use my card and tip in cash if that's ok. She gave me this very annoyed look and said "no, cash is good". I looked around and said wait, you take cards right?? You're not cash only are you?? She says "If you have cash, I like cash." At this point I just wanted to get the hell out so I paid in cash. I think I was just so shocked at the time that I didn't freak out on her, plus I'm super nice and want to give people a chance, but as soon as I left I realized how terrible the experience was. There is not a single person in the world that would have enjoyed it!! I mean, what the HECK is this place??? Honestly, I can't even believe this place is in business.
