I have been coming to this nail salon for years and until now have been very satisfied with the service. However, the past 3 times I have had a dip powder done I have had them chip or break off within days of getting them done. Very unusual. The first time it happened I gave them a pass, but the 2nd and now 3rd time...somethings up. I got my dip powder done on 2/6/26 and the following day doing normal things around my house and (2) of the nails either chipped or completely lifted off the entire dip power nail polish! My thoughts are they need to rid themselves of OLD product, what else could cause this. I will not return only to have the same thing happen. Time to move on to a better salon. read more

Pedicure at 10am and somehow my nails were still wet at 1:30pm resulting in smudges on smudges on smudges. I have never had that happen before so I'm assuming it is their top coat product. I was willing to let the fact they only exfoliated one foot and couldn't be bothered to clean my cuticles slide assuming they would excel at polish. Took my granddaughter, 7yo, to get nails done before a trip with her mother. She went home and when she woke the next morning the polish was off of 4 toes. This is a girly girl not a tomboy so she was trying very hard to follow the instructions given. I have gone to this salon for over a year..it's very hit or miss. I have had terrible manicures by Cindy and great ones by Lin or Kim. Today I got a new girl,Tina she didn't do any of the regular soaking or cuticle trims... so when she finished ....and disappeared I showed the manager. She said you didn't pay for a cuticle trim...ummm excuse me I paid 45 for a manicure and polish. She kept insisting it was 10 extra dollars. I said ,nicely, lady I have been coming here over a year...it's part of the regular manicure...she kept arguing and refusing to fix it... so I just left and had to do my own cuticles when I got home. He said (of African American people), "they were already freed. Now they want a holiday??" Amazing 10/10 experience just now - I was "that customer" and walked in 30 minutes prior to close to see if I could get a shellac mani, because I picked all my old shellac off this afternoon at work and my nIls looked a wreck. The OWNER (new Tina) said "sure!" and then did my nails HERSELF with tedious detail without skimping on anything (even though I told her it was ok to skip the "extras" because I was being squeezed in)... I just left nearly 40 minutes after close because she did such a thorough job. This level of customer service is lacking EVERYWHERE in our lives right now, and I was blown away. I have been a long-time customer, but got the feeling she would do this for anyone, because she wants to make customers happy. I've always enjoyed a few minutes of pampering and a pedicure is nearly my only personal indulgence once a month. I've been going to Natural Nails for 3-4 years but NEVER again! Wednesday I went for a pedi and have never been more disappointed in their service. I asked for a deluxe pedi and got less than a basic. Nail tech refused to pumice my soles bc she said they smelled even after I had showered and scrubbed them 3 hours earlier. After trimming my nails down she handed me my toe nails! She also cut down the side of one of my big toes that had never been cut like that before. It hurt like hell! No cuticle work or anything else. She painted my nails with my polish and handed it back to me. I was so taken back I did not do what I should have done and talked to the owner. Never going back. read more

The 1st question they asked was where did you last go, bc these are NOT dip- It was layered dip with Gel on top. As I'm fairly new to dip, I did wonder why they were using LED. The dip/gel mix also made them super thick... my true dip that I have now look like I literally just had them done and it's been well over 2weeks. Went once and was very happy. The second time was a huge bummer and I won't be back. I had been through an extremely emotional day and thought getting a mani would help me relax and feel better. It was 6:15pm when we got started and about halfway through it became apparent they were all anxious to close and go home. There were four employees hovering around, observing the rush job. I almost got up and left in the middle of the service when the vacuum was brought out and my seat was circled. Not only did this experience suck, but my polish choice ended up having a brush that was very mangled and the lady used it anyway. When she was done applying the polish and used the nail file she took of a chunk of the side and didn't say anything. I jokingly asked her what happened and she hurriedly offered to fix it. I told her at that point I just wanted to leave. I paid $40 (with the 20% tip) for a joke of a gel mani. If that wasn't bad enough the next day my hands were cracking and very dry - which has never happened to me the day after a mani. read more

Im so over this place. I I've been here over 20 times and the it's ALWAYS a hit or miss but this time Im fed up. I come to get a pedi and full set and made an appointment. I didn't even get asked what kind of pedicure I wanted he automatically started and gave me the basic and didn't even cut my toe nails. All he did was buff my feet(barely) and paint my nails. Then I get to getting my nails done, I show the woman a picture of what I wanted, I asked if she can do it. She said yes and then just painted all of them purple. Plain purple with no designs. I spent $100 dollars. My pedicure was $43 for gel basic, my nails were $50. $2 charge for using card. That would be $95. WHY did my receipt say $100. YES. I tipped 20 percent also. Let's not even get started on the cleanliness and how they use the same drill bits, nail files, etc. without even cleaning them in between clients. I'm always so disappointed. There's absolutely no excuse. I make an appointment so I'm NOT rushed and I constantly get rushed out of there. They are just like every other CHOP SHOP around here. Time to find a PERSONAL tech who will take the $120 and give me what I ASKED for. read more

I do not recommend this business. I went in to get some chipped acrylic nails replaced, and Tina insisted on doing a complete set so they all "matched". I agreed. Tina spent an abundance of time on her cell phone, and the results on my nails was indicative of that. All of the nails on my left hand were filed crookedly. I had a sore spot by one of my nails cuticles and when she pushed on it I said "ow!" And she pushed on it again and again( honestly it was weird) saying "sore.", "sore."?? You sore?. And SMILING. C'mon. In addition, my thumbs and index fingers are not proportionate bed of nail to white of nail. When I said they weren't right, she shooed me away with her hands and said that next time they'd be good.. Trouble is, she charged me 45.00 dollars THIS TIME. While I was getting my nails done, a woman complained that after having a pedicure two weeks prior, she now had two ingrown toenails and could barely walk. Tina's solution? we will fix them next time....What?.... The floor was covered with nails and God knows what. And FYI TO ALL THAT CALL FOR APPOINTMENTS- no one writes appointments down. I have gone to this Salon several times in the past with no issues. But, I think last week will be my last. While the individual who did my pedicure and shellac was very proficient, she complained a lot. During the pedicure, I'm still trying to figure out what she was complaining about. It was almost like when she got her arms wet, she personally blamed me for it. During my shellac, she complained that I was too stiff/tense and made it very clear to me she didn't appreciate it. Wow. I made an appointment for Saturday at noon and they took me straight away over the walk ins! So many other places could care less what time your appointment was set for! Plus the shellac lasts for 2 weeks and you get a paraffin dip with all services. This is not the best place for nail art. For that I recommend Maive at allure. Otherwise it's a solid salon close to all the neighborhoods in granger. read more
