Absolutely positively do not allow these people to do your eyelashes. The bride and three bridesmaids got eyelashes, and it was a mess. There was too much glue, and the chic basically stuck them in and kept it moving, no trimming. She covered her botch jobs with mascara, but no one was fooled. We had to fix her disasters by buying eyelash kits and using that glue to fix the situations.

She showed me a couple of swatches showing me a dark brown one and I said I didn't want to go dark. I also showed her a sample picture of the color I wanted. She then showed me two swatches- a medium brown and a light brown saying she was going to mix them so my hair wasn't too dark or too light. So my hair came out almost black. I stated it was way too dark and she said it would lighten when I washed it, but there was no way it was going to lighten to my original color. She stated we never discussed a light brown color. She then stated she could 'malibu' it but I refused because I was crying about how terrible my hair looked and just wanted to leave. I called the manager Nika and she was very understanding. Nika stated she talked to Mckenzie and she had used a gel color which usually comes out darker (throughout this process multiple stylists told me they would not have used a gel) She was able to get me in after closing the next day to fix the color with Mandy. My hair was bleached and then color put over it, it came out to be a dark chestnut color (still lighter than the color Mckenzie put in). I was still dissatisfied with my color because it wasn't as light as I wanted but Mandy stated she wanted to do it in cycles not to ruin my hair. It also has an orange hue to it. I also had to pay for the color fix. No follow up call from the manager making sure I was satisfied and no follow up offering the next cycle to get my hair to where I had originally requested it. So clearly not the best experience. Hopefully I can find a place that has professional colorists and doesn't make the customer feel like it's their fault if the color comes out wrong.

I would be appalled to have someone who dressed and acted like her representing my business. I asked to talk to Kerri or whoever was in charge and was told salon had enough clientele I wouldn't be missed . This wasn't just one bad experience . First bad one at Kerri's but had a similar experience at Hoosier cuts when she was also there too . They however were overly apologetic and I see she's no longer there . I see why. I have gone to the salon 2 times with Melissa. I wanted to make sure it was not just my first…read moreexperience and that I gave it a fair chance. Anyway, on my first visit she stated I had missed my appointment and I had to provide the text that verified I had shown up early for the designated appointment. I then asked for a curly cut as I have very wavy hair. When my hair is dry its a blunt cut along the bottom and looks like something I could have done on my own. I then went to my second appointment that I had to reschedule from the original, via text, and again, she accused me of not having an appointment and I had to find the text and verify the reschedule. This time she was to do a demi color to brighten up my blond hair to my roots to be warmer more strawberry blonde. She says she matched the roots, however I left with an Auburn red with streaks in the back. She pulled on my hair and never put any oil in my shoulder length hair, when I asked for her to not make the end so blunt on my cut I ended up with random long pieces at the end and then a majority of blunt cut (she says she did a point cut). And I asked to leave with my natural curls and she instead blew out the hair so she could see the color and then I told her is she had asked, I would have told her I used a 9 on my grey. Anyway...I cant speak to the other stylists there but this one cant keep her schedule straight, does not pay attention to detail and just slaps product on your hair and does a half hearted cut that you could get at great clips. I don't think a client should feel like an inconvenience when you spend that kind of money.

But I have never had a better haircut than the one given to me by Beau. Hands down. Beau is an artist. Literally. He does sculpture at the nearby fire arts gallery and regularly has showings of his work. He sells his pottery in the salon if you are interested. His artistic eye do wonders for your hair. I can't explain why, but he is the only person that I have ever gone to that seems to get my hair. I hate coming out of most salons, but Beau gives me a look that just WORKS. Beau is old school. He trained in hair as salons were moving away from once a week wash and set visits to scissors cuts which relied more on craftsmanship. He knows all the styles and has watched them come and go. He knows his very knowledgeable about cutting, color and styling. Three of the most stylish women at my work go to Beau - and they all have very unique hair - both short and long, blonde and brunette. I just can't say enough good things about Beau. He simply does an excellent job.
