Marissa, my stylist and new BFF, was exceptionally friendly. She expertly covered my gray and trimmed up my edges. I was happy and I've gotten lots of compliments. The downside? When I called to schedule my appointment I was asked what I wanted. I said a cut, an eyebrow wax and a color. I explained, "I want to get as close to my natural brown but I'd like to do something fun like pink--" This is where she cut me off and told me she didn't need to know the details, I could just tell my stylist. Ok. But I was going to say I wanted pink edges. Brusque as it was I figured it was busy in the shop. No biggie. Well, it was kind of a biggie cause when I arrived and explained to Marissa what I wanted to do, she said, "That's great! We can totally do pink for you at your next visit since you're not scheduled for that much time today." So no pink edges for me. A disappointment but not the end of the world. I'll make sure the receptionist understands everything I want next time. At the end of my cut and color, Marissa helped me gather my things--I assumed she was walking me over to get my eyebrows done. Nope! She walked me to the register so I could settle up. I listened as she pulled my record of services and said to the receptionist, "We didn't do that and, um, we only did half of that." So I'm not sure what happened there. The main takeaways are: talented, friendly stylists, but they may need someone paying closer attention to the schedule. Oh and I had literal globs of dye on my forehead and around my ears. Marissa told me to use nail polish remover when I got home. Small wipes or attention to those spots at the time of service would make the experience feel more professional. So there's that, BUT I'm sticking with my good vibes. Great color and Marissa was very nice. Definitely recommend.

After seeing a hair professional I was told that my hair were BADLY damaged. I recently booked an appointment with someone new at this salon after hearing the previous girl quit. The worst decision of my life I went in for a haircut originally. She suggested a perm and I questioned the health of my hair. She assured me multiple times it was just fine and she "does this all the time" Tiffany, I pray you don't. I am left with hair so damaged I have no clue where to start. I have a BALD SPOT on the front if my head. How am I supposed to cover or re grow that?? 1. The hair cut was pretty bad, the layers weren't blended AT ALL. 2. My hair was literally burned off I have a BALD SPOT 3. She used a $20 treatment without letting me know then "apologized" for charging me All after me tipping her VERY generously for a cut the day before.
