They always do a wonderful job on my nails/feet making me feel fabulous when I leave. Also being a clutz, I have accidentally shmushed my nails before fully dry and they have been kind enough to fix it before I leave. I live in NYC, have been to multiple salons there, and still think Fantasy Nails is the best mani/pedi I've had. So basically, whenever I come back, it's an absolute must that I come here to get my hands/feet looking great before I go back.

I had a pedicure a month ago and enjoyed the experience. So, when I went back for nails and…read morepedicure the experience was quite different. The nail tech I had previously was not available, that should have been a sign. The tech I had was rough-which is an understatement. She took the dip off my toes with a nail file instead of soaking them off. She cut my cuticle and the sides of my toes several times. I know there is a language barrier but "ouch!" is a common word. She'd nod and go right back to it. I kept asking if someone else was going to do my fingers and she shook her head no. I asked the tech if they had OPI products. She brought me a book but it was all numbers and not color names. I asked if they had Lisbon and she brought me several containers of colors which, surprise, was NOT OPI. I chose a color as close to Lisbon and went with it. When she did my fingers, she kept cutting my cuticles. I pulled my hand back several times to look at the bleed marks. She kept going. The tech was very messy in applying the dip. I left with as much product around my cuticles and down my fingers as I had on my nails. I asked her for a gel top coat. Instead she applied the normal drying liquid. When I asked her about the gel, she put the gel on top of the other liquid and now my finger nails are sticky and feel gummy. I considered going back but with the way my cuticles feel and look, I know I couldn't handle any nail polish remover without more pain. A few days later and everything I touch hurts. I know this seems minor and like a champagne problem but your nails shouldn't hurt or look like mine do. My cuticles are all cut up and where I had to pull the dip off my fingers is raw and bright red. The search for a good nail salon in the area continues. Smyrna Nails is not it.

I was the first person in the salon when they opened, no other customers, just one worker. She had…read moreme sit down for a pedicure but never said another word to me. She didn't ask what color I wanted, didn't start the water, and didn't offer me anything while I just sat there waiting. About 15 minutes later, another customer walked in, and she immediately began working on her pedicure instead. I'm not sure why she chose not to service me, but this was extremely poor customer service and a very disappointing experience.

I went here instead of my regular place due to scheduling. The lady that welcomed me was very nice…read moreand friendly. I learned that she couldn't do my nails because she didn't know how to do dip. The next lady seemed very inconvenienced that she had to do my mani and pedi at first. Fast forward a week: my toes are chipping all around my toes which is something I never experienced within a week of getting them done. And one of my finger nails was splitting in half. I went the following morning as soon as they opened to avoid appointments etc. I was basically dismissed because I didn't have an appointment although their sign says "walk ins welcome". Instead of taking the dip completely off and starting over she decided to just put more dip on top. Which, I asked her why considering my nail was split underneath. Her response was that she does it like this all the time. Well, 3 days later, my nail fully split in the middle of the nail bed. This was an additional 4 days of pain that could have been avoided had they just fixed them correctly. I won't be coming back here.

Came here to try a different place to get a pedicure and I was honestly very displeased!…read more -we arrived at 3:45 and was told it would be a ten minute wait, that is totally fine. We were getting a regular pedicure and a kids pedicure. We were sat at the pedicure chair with our feet soaking in water after, what we did not expect was to wait an additional 35 minutes just to get service. The lady came over to start our service and that is honestly where it went down hill. Then they asked what we abated and I mentioned again a kids pedicure and a regular pedicure. They asked what was the girls age and I said 10 years old. They proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get a kids pedicure because she was 10 but their policy is 10 years old AND younger. She went and asked several different people and would come back and tell me no but she finally said okay. After this they decided that instead of two individuals servicing us, we were given one lady to do both of our pedicures. So now my water that is no longer hot but lukewarm is going to be cold by the time my pedicure starts. So when my pedicure starts I ask for hot water because now my water is cold. Both pedicures were extremely rushed. My feet were not scrubbed of dead skin at all and they didn't polish my toes good, in addition they left like a residue on my feet instead of cleaning them up. It overall just was not a great experience. With starting after sitting in lukewarm water for 35 minutes we were both done by 5pm. That means she did both pedicures in 40 minutes and you can tell it was rushed. We also were not given the sandals to wear we have to go grab some to put on.

Both times the gel manicure was rushed, especially today. My appointment was at noon obviously on a busy weekend I know they're going to be a little bit behind which I was totally fine with waiting, but when you take me back 20 minutes late and then you finish in less than 30 minutes that's a problem. Also, I had booked with Jessica today and had a guy do my manicure and I was not told why it was switched. As much as I I love the ambience of this place and everyone is super nice. I will not be coming back here and I won't be recommending any of my friends to come as well.
