My experience at this nail salon was not the best. I came in with a design in mind, as did my mother, and neither came out as expected. My design was one color on six out of the ten nails, another on the other four, and a snowflake on the four. The nail tech did not tell me she could not do designs very well, and instead tried to figure out how to put a sticker onto my nail...something I have never been offered in my fifteen years of getting my nails done. Also, it is a snowflake...and I am not picky. It could have simply been three intersecting lines and I would have been happy. I do respect that she tried to complete my request, but she couldn't get the stickers to work, after more than 10 minutes of trying. She then requested another nail technician take over and try - and this tech had 10 years of experience in doing nails. The result was not as expected - my left pinky finger looks like it has a white blob on it because of the nail tech rushing. This was not a difficult design, and I said multiple times that I was fine with a more simple design if that would be easier. As stated before, if it was communicated that the design was too complex for the skill level of the technician, I would not be as upset with my experience, but as is, it was horrible. My mother's experience was similar - with a nail technician telling my mother that she could definitely do the design requested and then was not great at the execution - a unique French tip. If you simply want color on your nails, this place was great - they spoke English very well and were mostly friendly, but if you want anything more complicated, you're in for a disappointment. read more

Lynn is INCREDIBLE! I went there for the first time since a friend recommended it and it was the best nail salon experience I have ever had which says a lot since I get my nails done religiously every 3 weeks for years and years. They give you a complementary drink and their attention to detail is incredible. She was able to get me an appointment time with her less than a day in advance exactly when I needed it. I got the chrome nails and had shown her a picture of what I wanted and they turned out exactly like the picture. The entire time she kept making sure it was what I wanted. We had so much conversation and laughs which is super refreshing since most of the time at nail salons they talk in another language & you always feel like they're talking about you. Thank you Lynn! Extremely happy with my experience! The beauty lounge is a super clean, super friendly establishment! I was in need of some relaxation time and my husband and I went to get pedicures together. The service was exceptional. Very kinds, helpful, and we didn't have to wait long. The pedicure was easily the best I have ever had! I didn't have to worry about infection, as all their tools are opened out of the packet in front of you, and the foot tub is covered in a liner. This place is fabulous ! I had experienced a pretty rough work week , and was in dire need of a manicure and pedicure. I was looking as ratchet as I was feeling , and I called and made a last minute appointment. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly and picked out a new color for my toes and fingers ( Beet Root - it's beautiful and reminds me of my "go to" color of Lincoln Park after Dark ) . I loved how they had a TON of gorgeous polishes in gel, powder, and polish that are the same color so if you get powder on your fingers , you can do the same color polish on your toes , for example. Brenda was amazing, offered me wine which I gladly accepted , and was so easy to have a conversation with... enjoyed her company as much as I am now enjoying her exemplary manicure and pedicure skills ! The people seemed friendly enough however, I hate wasting money. I went in for a gel manicure. I thought my nails didn't look like gel when I was leaving. They weren't smooth at all. Looked like an at home nail job. Well here I am four days later with a chipped nail. I have NEVER had gel chip after four days. $43 plus a way too generous tip down the drain! First of all, I've never been someone who regularly had my nails done. I've had them done for special occasions, kept them up for awhile and then stopped. Every time, I would get tired of the sore fingers and the severely damaged nails. I have weak, brittle nails and sad cuticles naturally, and recently wanted to see if I could have them look nice for once. I had come for pedicures at The Beauty Lounge and been impressed, so I gave a manicure and gel polish a try. Holly suggested trying dip gel next time and seeing which I preferred. Dip gel is AMAZING, but particularly in the hands of Holly. Never before have I felt any loyalty to a particular nail technician, but I schedule Holly every time now. Her attention to detail and ability to make my nails look natural is so good. The salon is clean, well managed and everyone is friendly. So I booked an appointment with this establishment around 3am when I got off work. I booked two different appointments because the first appointment was booked for the wrong day. When I called in to let them know she tells me "Well you should've called in" the first unprofessional remark so I let her know the appointment was made at 3am and asked her would someone have been there to answer the phone. she says oh well no I didn't know when really she should've said "Oh sorry about that". The next day I was 30 mins late for my appointment bc again I get off at 3am most nights when I called in she verified my name and said oh yes both appointments are cancelled bc this is the Second time you did a no call no show referring to the day that was discussed previously when I let her know there was no way for me to call. This was a great spot. But it seems that now they pick and choose who they want to service based on... idk the way the wind is blowing. Use your imagination. I called this morning to schedule an appointment and was told they were only taking walk ins. I get to the lounge and was turned away stating that they were not taking anymore people today. But as soon as I get to my car three people walk in and we're serviced. I called from my car and asked if they were still taking walk ins and was told yes. I want to start out by saying that I will not go back because It is out of my price range. At $176,It was the most expensive manicure and pedicure that I have ever had for two people, but it was my fault. I called asking for the express manicure and express pedicure, thinking it was $13 for the manicure and $25 for the pedicure. The owner told me that they only give the express manicure with the gel polish. I said okay, no problem! However, I didn't realize that meant $20 extra per service, but it does say that it on the menu. I was thinking that it would be around $100, but with the extra price for gel, it was $176. Yikes lol However, it was the best manicure and pedicure I ever had, but in my opinion, a manicure and a pedicure is not worth the price. If you have the budget and want to ensure a high quality manicure and pedicure, go for it! But, I would recommend getting a higher end manicure that includes the scrubs and things. read more

I will never step foot in this establishment again. I walked in ready to inquire about availability for a full set and pedicure for my engagement photos in the morning. No one greeted me , and No one offered to help me . No one acknowledged my existence! There was No receptionist at the front desk.
