This was my first time coming to the salon, and I will definitely be returning -- no complaints at all. I came in needing color correction, and Brandi took her time to do it right. It ended up being about five hours with two rounds of processing, but I never felt rushed or overlooked. She was very attentive throughout and made sure my hair stayed healthy, using a lot of conditioner and including a protein treatment, which I really appreciated. Brandi also has a lot of personality -- she's fun, welcoming, and keeps the energy up, but at the same time she's very efficient and quick with her work. You can tell she really knows and loves what she's doing. Instead of going straight in with heat, she set my hair on rollers and had me sit under the dryer, which gave me a smooth, beautiful finish without unnecessary damage. My hair came out looking amazing -- the color is exactly what I wanted, and it feels just as good as it looks. The total came out to around $200 (and i tipped extra), which felt fair and to be expected given the time, care, and multiple processes involved. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and highly recommend Brandi to anyone looking for great color and care.

I came here in August to get my first keratin treatment. I have incredibly curly thick hair and was just so tired of fighting with it. I wanted to try something to smooth it out and had done some research on keratin treatments. The first time I got the treatment here, I really liked it. My hair was really smooth and so easy to style. It didn't revert back to a wearable curl pattern but I was ok with that as I wanted to wear it straight. At around 3 months, I started losing more and more hair to breakage which made me question if it was time to return for a re-do or my hair was damaged and I needed to take a break. I returned to the salon, explained what was happening to the stylist and she examined my hair and told me it's just time for another treatment. She then applied the product to my hair from root to the tip of my hair and sealed it etc. I waited 4 days to wash the treatment out which was her guidance. When I did, pieces of my hair coated my entire shower. Literally handfuls of my hair were breaking off. If I just look at my hair, it breaks. I'm shocked I even have hair left on my head after how much hair I've lost. When I went to get my haircut, the stylist was shocked. She said I just have to cut everything off over the next few months until my new growth comes back. I can't wear my hair out until the fall so I have to keep it braided down for the next 6 months. I cried so hard while she cut away everything I had. I used to have the most beautiful hair and now literally all of it is gone. My new stylist actually thinks the woman who did my keratin used a relaxer and double processed but either way, she said it's the most damage she's seen in years. I just feel so betrayed and violated by this whole experience. I just have no idea why someone would do something like this. I'm truly devastated.

It was pouring rain and this place was close so decided it for convenience. I called them mentioning I just want a simple cut ($75). They said they have availability. I came 8 min before my appointment time and they made me wait 25 minutes, I was not well. I told them my situation and this hair cut was only temporary. They charged me $136. I felt really low. I initially went to the salon in the spring of 2019 in preparation for my engagement shoot. I'm natural and wanted my hair pressed with clip-ins for my photos. I'll admit the consultation took a while but that is because Noël really wants to understand your hair! She was honest, took in my considerations (I really needed it cut, but didn't want to right before the photos!) and helped me get some high-quality extensions for my shoot. Following that, I became a regular as my goal was to really grow it as much as possible for my upcoming wedding. This involved a few cuts, several Emergency repair treatments, and ultimately she recommended a keratin treatment to help with my curl manageability and improve growth (I have more kinky, coarse hair). After a year, my hair grew to its longest point and actually past the length of the clip-ins I ordered a year prior. The few times I have gotten it straightened my curls have always come back! I went rogue one time when I couldn't get in and got it straightened at another salon and unfortunately experienced some heat damage - never again, but we are nursing them back :) During COVID she has continued to do virtual appointments when I can't come in, consulted me on various treatments and my wash routine, and shipped me products as I have since moved out of state. My hair continues to experience tremendous growth with the products I order from the salon and I am looking forward to being a regular again once it is safe to travel more freely! While the services are on the pricier side, I am willing to make the investment. I can honestly say, you get what you pay for at NNY. (also looking forward to when they can serve wine and snacks again at the salon:)

Right off the bat every employee was super nice, friendly, kind, and sweet. My questions were answered quickly, yet detailed and professional, each receptionist was very kind. I was given tea, and treated wonderfully while getting my hair done and even after. I will say though, they are on a bit of the pricey side. I usually pay $45.00 for a regular wash and press, but I payed nearly $70 at Noel's. It's okay though, because it was all worth it! My hairstylest Harley was super sweet, she made sure I left looking fabulous, and she really worked her magic! I got to meet the owner as well who makes you feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the neighborhood, or even if you just want to stop by and check it out!

I found this spot on instagram when a local influencer spoke about getting her hair styled here and the hairstyle wasn't typical and it was beautiful. I went to their website where I was able to book an appointment. I can to the shop and was immediately created, the energy was positive, the stylist Kathy, came over to me and introduced herself to me and we discussed what I wanted to have done, we talked about pricing up front which I really appreciated. My hair was washed by another young woman in the shop, and baby that was the best wash I've had in a while. The shop's decor is super fly, I loved the personal touches they had in the restroom, it really fells like a girls, girls shop! Back to my service, the stylist was kind, great energy and even asked if she could wrap up another client since what I was getting was more then originally booked on the site, I appreciated that level of consideration so much! By the time I left, I loved my beaded style, I enjoyed the service, the soundtrack that played throughout the service and just being in a fabulous shop where the styles happening next to me had me super inspired to come back.
