I always thought the expense was too much and even said out loud I'd never afford to do lashes for $60-something every 3-4 weeks, but I did it once and I'm hooked. And it's worth it! It saves SO much time getting ready in the mornings. I rarely use any makeup anymore because they create such a nice natural look. Apparently I was charged for a "custom set" but it looks like a classic mega lash. My eyes have been red, swollen, and itchy since. I fear that my natural lashes are damaged due to the roughness of the application process . Despite me explaining this to her after my appointment, she just said she can do a free fix and she doesn't do refunds because "you should have read my policy". I just personally would not recommend going here for lashes, especially for the price.

But if I bring in a bunch of screengrabs from Insta or Naturally Curly, I can run them by her and she'll be honest about whether she thinks a particular cut will look good on me--and, based on how much she knows about how much time (very little) I will spend styling it in the morning, whether it's worth doing. She's also amazing at mixing color, so you can be sure you'll get the exact same one every time. I've had some nail and skin treatments here as well, and I have nothing to complain about there, either. The staff are all friendly, and even if they are not the ones specifically doing your hair, they'll probably chat with you, give you product recommendations, and throw a compliment your way anyway. The only bad things about this place are a) it's maybe too popular, and that means noisy, so if you're someone who is prone to sensory overload, this is not your joint; and b) time is more of a relative concept than a hard and fast rule, so don't plan anything more complicated than a trim if you have somewhere to be that day.
