I decided to make an appointment here after I saw all the great reviews on Yelp. Immediately upon walking in, I felt comfortable, and the receptionist was so genuine, extremely friendly and welcoming. I saw Laura for Botox and she was wonderful. You can tell she was trained by the best -- she was confident, thorough, and explained everything so clearly. ZL Medspa is truly the only place I will ever go. They don't just "do facials" -- they understand skin on a medical level. They know skin structure, corrective treatments, and how to build a real skincare regimen that actually works. I always leave glowing, educated, and confident that my skin is in the best hands. If you want results and professionalism, this is it.

I've had several facials at Beauty Republic. I've seen both Marissa and Vanessa, and they are such…read morelovely people. A facial experience with Beauty Republic is really unlike anything else out there. One of the things that drew me to them is that they were willing to use only products that contained plant ingredients. I'm unable to use products with synthetic chemicals because my body is very sensitive to them. Many skincare businesses have a problem with this because so many products that are out there are not actually clean and non-toxic. This was not a problem at Beauty Republic though. Not only did my skin feel fantastic post-facial, they sell products that I can buy to use at home, and there are so many options to choose from that meet my criteria of being clean and non-toxic! We are so lucky to have this business in our city.

Beauty Republic is now located at the address reflected on their business page here on Yelp. The studio is actually located on a residential property, but it is NOT inside the main house. They make sure to provide you with instructions via text message the day of your appointment, which is very helpful. The studio is now officially a team of two, lead by founder Marissa Duarte and her sister in law Vanessa. The services no longer include nails services. Their focus is entirely on skincare. Vanessa does offer waxing and lash lift/tinting services though! So, if you are looking for a place that is entirely dedicated to facials of various kinds with a holistic approach, this is it! And it's LOVELY. The studio is cozy and super well appointed. I was super relaxed the entire time. I went in for a facial that included gua sha with Vanessa. Vanessa is incredibly sweet and fun to talk to before and after your session. She keeps the session chat free so that you can indulge in all the relaxation possible and I loved it! Another nice aspect to their business is that it is a gratuity free zone, meaning that the pricing on their website is what you pay for and that's it. So you can think of it as the gratuity is included. I've never experienced that before and I must say it's a really nice way to enjoy a treatment. After my facial, Vanessa was gracious with her time and gave me some tips on how to use my gua sha stone at home. Her energy is wonderful and both she and Marissa seem to be super dedicated to continuing their education and developing all the skills they need to be the best! I will definitely we returning again for another facial and plan on booking one for my husband as well.

My skin has never broken out the way it has showed in the pictures; pictures are 6 months apart…read more My cluster of cystic acne was so painful, it woke me up at night throbbing. There were a number of things I can think of that might've caused my skin to break out the way it did but my top one was my skin acclimating to Tucson's weather. The break out's caused me to become depressed and desperate. I was doing research on my skin and where I can go that would help me before resorting to going to the dermatologist. I found Tucson Acne Clinic. I read LITERALLY everything on her website and I was sold. I made my appt and I went and saw her. She changed my life. Your first visit with her will be very educational and painful. She educates you on everything about ACNE; what causes it, aggravates it, clears it, etc. She does an acne treatment and does extraction (which is not the most comfortable feeling but very necessary). Her method of clearing your skin is a commitment and an investment. Worth every penny and time. She's a very skillful esthetician and she knows exactly what she's doing. She knows her method of clearing very well, so my advise is to stick with it till your skin clears up, guaranteed, it will ! If you're still thinking about whether to book with her or not, just do it. She will help change your life and help boost your confidence. Thank you so much Brenda You're the best
