We booked services with spa solai for my sister's bachelorette party! At every step, the staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate our group. They allowed us to decorate an area for us to lounge and enjoy, replaced services last minute when we had some unforeseen changes, and even ran out to the store to bring us ice for our drinks?! I have been here before and always had a good experience but today was subpar. The massage therapist's nails were too long and were digging into my skin. I mentioned it to the massage therapist but there was no apology. The massage therapist seemed irritated that I said something. He didn't check in with me at all about the pressure. I communicated to him what I needed several times regarding the pressure. Then he ended the massage two minutes before it he should have. I didn't realize this until he left the room and I looked at the clock. When I pay for 50 minutes, I expect 50 min. The one thing I can say is that the massage therapist focused on the area I requested and overall the massage did feel good. I feel frustrated because I could have asked for a student to do the massage but chose a professional due to my neck issues, and I feel that the massage was student quality. I will be looking elsewhere for massages in the future. read more

I love this place. It's very quite and private. It often feels like I am the only one there. They use dazzle dry which is by far my favorite nail polish brand, it dries faster and last 10 days+ They have tea, and calming music. It doesn't smell of chemicals like at most nail salon. I am normally get my massages/facials on the east side since I live out in Vail, but needed to do spa packages for three so found Spa Solai. The inside is very lovely, quiet and welcoming. We did the 2.5 hour package which included a facial, 50 minute massage and mint foot scrub. We were all promptly brought back -- later I figured out while I started with the facial, my two girlfriends started with the massage. The overall experience and staff there were wonderful, the price excellent. One of my girlfriends from out of town said her massage therapist was the 2nd best she had had in her lifetime... and I would imagine she has had a lot of massages. I have two pieces of feedback for my experience. First, between the massage and facial -- they should have your next room ready. Instead, you redress pretty much and go sit back out in the side lobby area where the mani/pedi room is. I was also a little annoyed that my two friends got 80 minute massages and mine was only 50. (sure I was a little jealous!) I was 80 minutes in the facial room, although she did spend a lot of time on my feet in there; she spent a lot of time on my face outside of the facial with some cream/gel just massaging and rubbing. Well I just had some facial surgery and probably could have done without the extra facial time (and yes, I put that on the paperwork I filled out) I guess my point is, that you should probably tell folks up front they are getting facials that are close to an hour and a half since some are probably okay with 30-40 but not 80. Other than that feedback, I would not hesitate to come back here as the overall experience and staff were wonderful. read more

I spent my day off getting a facial, a mani/pedi and full body massage. If I was rich, I'd make it a habit. Karinna gave me my facial and mani/pedi and she was absolutely delightful. My facial was great. My massage therapist, Debbie was wonderful. I work at a local resort and am able to get massages from amazing therapists and Debbie gave me one of the best massages EVER! I came from out of town on a Thursday, and my friend recommended Spa Solai for a massage. I requested an 80 min deep tissue massage. Angel was my masseuse, and he was absolutely amazing! He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed! He applied just enough pressure on all my areas that needed attention. I left there feeling great from head to toe! I felt so good that I decided to come back again that same weekend on a Saturday before I left. This time, I could only do 50 min. Again, he attentively worked on me and made me feel like jelly. Had a spa day with my daughter today at Soa Solai. The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. We had a facial and a massage. The people were friendly. We both had great massages and facials . We were so relaxed afterwards. My skin looks amazing and feels even better. My only issue is the bathrobes are very small. My size zero daughter said it barely covered her so of course it didn't cover my plus size body. It was a bit humiliating, but wasn't going to let it ruin my day. I found this place on Groupon when I was looking for massage places to take my partner for Valentine's Day. It was $65 for 1 hour massage. I figured it was a good deal so I got the Groupon. I decided to get a facial, too, the same day. It was also $65 for 1 hour facial. We both enjoyed our services. My partner said he felt "weird" after his massage. I think it's because he wasn't in any pain and he was relaxed. My facial went well. It was really relaxing. I also had my eyebrows and lip waxed. It was my first time getting a wax of any sort. It was a bit nerve-wracking but I survived it. Lisa is a pro and always double checks to make sure she waxed the amount you want. I would return for sure. read more

Awful service and will not get what you booked or asked for. I was staying at The Lodge on the Desert hotel, and ask them for a massage recommendation and they suggested this spa. I called and booked a deep tissue massage with Angel; I had an explicit conversation about not wanting a student therapist because I specifically wanted a deep tissue massage. When I showed up for my appointment, they told me at the desk that I had been switched to a student therapist. She was not a good therapist and was not able to do deep tissue; I left 10 minutes in to the massage. Completely unacceptable to switch the type of appointment and therapist upon arrival and the front desk staff made no effort to compensate for it. I don't recommend coming here and will also let the hotel know to stop recommending this place to guests. read more

I absolutely do not recommend Spa Solai for a facial. I went in for the 4:00 spot and my face was not started to work on until 4:20. I was done by 5:00 when this was advertised as an hour long facial. I went in for an acne breakout and had one extraction done when many were needed. My arms got more attention than my face in regards to a massage. My face is in much worse shape leaving then it was when I entered. If you want a facial worth your money, do not go here. read more

My mom and I had facials here for Mother's Day. The pricing was confusing...they had a Groupon for $65 but the lowest posted price was $49 on a sign outside. They gave us the lower price which was nice, I just don't understand why all of the varied pricing. They did call the day before our service and asked if we wanted to add a massage for $33 as well. My facial was overall relaxing, my mom enjoyed hers more than I did. The esthetician started my facial 10 minutes late and ended on time so I lost 1/5 of my time I paid for. Because of the lower cost I would probably go back for an everyday facial/massage. I will stick to the fancier spas with amenities for spa days with friends and for enhanced services. read more

Located at the Sam Hughes Place near the University, Coming here was an absolute treat, my friends surprised me with an appt to come in and unwind. I walked in and was immediately welcomed as I was expected and greeted by name. The lobby is beautiful, soothing music plays while a blissful aroma hugs the room, a beautiful ambience. I was asked to fill out a quick form then was introduced to Maribel my masseuse. Minimal lighting, low soothing sounds give the room a relaxed feel, I'm told to get as comfortable as possible and asked what areas specifically I'd like worked on. Very professional, very attentive, and amazing hands made for a beautiful emotional release. I asked if it was normal for people to cry because I couldn't believe how much pain was being soothed away simply by touch. It's been a rough month and the relaxation was well deserved. After 80 mins it was time for the next part of my Spa Day, my facial. I forgot the woman who took care of me but her hands were amazing as well. My favorite part were the warm towels. The whole experience was phenomenal and I highly recommend coming here. read more

I returned to AZ for a visit and had to come back to Spa Solai. My friend and I did the 4.5 hour Exhilirate Spa package and had a wonderful time. We started with Juliette and Loemi (sorry if I misspelled) who were an absolute joy to be around. They did our Mani/pedi and really added a great calming and fun environment. My (regular) nail polish usually chips very easily but Loemi did a great job and 5 days later, my nails look just as amazing as they did when I left, no chips in sight. Next were our facials. My friend and I fell asleep during our facials...thats how relaxing they were. Our skin felt has felt so good since. It's was only after our facials that were were given spa robes. It would add to the experience if we had received then upon checking in. That's been my experience at any other spa I've been to. Lastly, we finished with our massages and boy oh boy! They were so good! We left Spa Solai feeling like we were floating. We really enjoyed the services. read more

I have been a customer for over 10 years. last time in May I came, I asked specifically if I could bring my son who is 14 for a massage and they said yes. I called and scheduled a massage for 2 hour each. on the phone they also told me yes. I show up today with my son and they are telling me they can't do for minors. so not only was I lied twice they made me spend time and miles to come here. horrible experience and won't be coming back. the funny thing is as I was leaving the one on 6th Ave I called skyline spa solai and they told me yes they do minors haha so they lied again or maybe 6th Avenue discriminated against us hahaha what a joke. dont go there! read more

Robin at Spa Solai is an amazing massage therapist. She is a better than a chiropractor, does yoga stretch and deep tissue. If I lived in Tucson I would be a regular. I had an utterly relaxing experience here at Spa NiVa. The interior is large, clean, and welcoming. I was able to make an appointment for a one hour massage the day prior. My masseuse was very sweet and friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. She asked me what I needed from the massage, which is not the first time someone has, but she is one of the few who actually delivered on everything I requested. She used strong pressure to work out the tough knots in my upper back, checking in my me periodically, but also provided a very relaxing massage near the end that actually put me to sleep which was also a first for me. The room itself was a perfect temperature and very hard to leave at the end of the hour. I will definitely try to come regularly !! Oh! Ike was amazing! MUST request him!! He listens and follows your requests. My husband had a woman whom was much softer and gentle but he might not have been as vocal with her so no hard feelings there. Have to say... the entire experience was underwhelming. Felt rushed the entire time. If you are looking for a typical massage of your legs (knees down), this is not the place for you. And if you expect to have gel polish, you need to specifically request that when making your appointment. Otherwise they will not accommodate for a regular, 45 minute pedicure. Was a bit surprised as I expected to be able to select what type of polish I wanted. Foot massage was there, but super short and again, a bit underwhelmed.
