If you're going to enforce a rule that literally turns people away, the least you could do is communicate what that rule actually is. Instead, I was just left standing there confused and bounced. Service wasn't helpful or accommodating in this situation, and it definitely didn't feel welcoming. If your policy is going to discriminate based on the format of someone's ID rather than their age, that's something customers deserve to know before they make the trip. I get that venues need to check ages, but what happened here felt bureaucratic and unnecessary. Until they explain or fix this policy, I won't be coming back.
