Root Cellar is the best cannabis store in Mason. We've experienced all of them, Root Cellar tops everyone in price, service, selection and online ordering. This is our favorite cannabis store. We're in here all the time and have come to love this business and the people who work there. We've been to all of the local stores in Mason and there's some good ones out there. But the Root Cellar is consistently the best, with the best service and the best prices. The main thing I love about Roots is their online order system which is fabulous. Being able to browse through their menu, order online and be in and out in seconds is amazing. I love that their menu is always changing. They always have their staples at different price points but there's always new stuff to try which I love. Their menu is really excellently curated and probably the best we've seen in Mason. Several different high quality items at several different price points each category of item you could want. Roots' pricing is consistently the best out of everyone we've experienced in Mason. They consistently come in at least 10% under all of the other stores. Especially when you order online and get an automatic 10% off at the start. We don't even bother looking at other stores anymore because Roots' is consistently the best price and best experience. We really like the service and people here. The owner is a really great guy with great energy. We love all of the ladies who work here. The manager lady has a great sense of humor. The lady with glasses has great energy and spent some time educating me on new technology which I was impressed they took the time to do that. They've always a very pleasant experience. Cannot recommend the online ordering more highly. read more

Wow! Talk about amazing customer service! In a nutshell, These folks saw that I had accidentally dropped a franklin and contacted me to give it back! Small acts of kindness make a huge impact! Thank you Root Cellar. I will never forget your kindness!! read more

I have been coming here for about four years and the bad reviews really surprise me. Everyone has always been great here. They are knowledgeable and personable. It's also dog-friendly; I can bring my dog in and they often have employee dogs in there too. I'd highly recommend this store. read more

I love this place, I was in and out within four minutes, needed a couple referrals for what I was looking for and they were helpful. Completely professional, not condescending, and it was a fantastic overall experience. Definitely coming back. read more

Thanks Yelpers, especially Jane R. - you had me at "cool beans" and you were right! I was having back spasms, knee and hip pain after our flight and driving up from SEATAC. Since THC has an undesirable effect on me, I just wanted CBD relief. The friendly ladies guided me toward a fantastic product called Dragon Balm, which has 500mg in the formula, as well as camphor, menthol, and cocoa butter. It's in a wide stick form for easy application. Also, a bath product which was a tin of fizzy salts called SOAK, containing cannabis, witch hazel and calendula. When I got to my hotel I took a hot bath using the bath bomb, then applied the Dragon Balm before crawling into bed. I awoke 9 hours later feeling like a new woman! Thanks, ladies! I appreciated your knowledge of products and the wide assortment your shop stocks. Awesome sauce!!! read more

Adding pictures, not here to argue and didn't want to argue in person at the time either. Should be able to trust recommendations from budtenders instead of having to argue with some one who is supposed to be a professional. read more

Root Cellar - How top shelf weed should look. Two different strains from two different brands carried by GV. - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Belfair, Washington

See all

Unfortunately, this is another dispensary in Washington I will not be going back to. Someone explain to me why it's okay for a man to cut me in line and this happened twice here and when I walked up I was greeted rudely because they thought he was before me. Then they got mad at me for asserting myself. Lol. I absolutely hate spending 80 a week to be TRIPPED OUT after smoking what I purchased because of their attitude!! Seriously considering stopping smoking weed because of all the bud tenders in Washington. I smoke for anxiety and every time I have to deal with people like this it completely destroys the purpose of spending the money on the weed. And then they said happy thanksgiving to every one in front of me and didn't say it to me and didn't even say anything after I said thank you. I am still upset about this it's been a whole day. Searching for a place with nice people. read more

They are rude they act like the customer doesn't know what they're talking about,... They kept telling me oh because they've been working there 5 years they know this and they know that,... Your workers insulted my intelligence and they made themselves look like Giant asshats read more

Mandy was AMAZING! She was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be coming back. #best420shoparound.

My favorite place to shop Love the staff Always happy with the variety and prices. Knowledgeable and helpful, Yelp is making me type a bunch of stuff or it won't post so..bottom line ROOT CELLAR ROCKS! read more

The worst customer service from MANDY that we have ever received here. Please go back to Alaska Mandy. You are one rude lady. Didn't know the inventory, told us she didn't have items in when they were clearly behind the counter. Never been treated so rudely before. If she's staying we won't be back, sad. read more

This is my favorite shop for many reasons. First they are friendly and knowledgeable. Second they are fair with prices. Especially considering the taxes. Easy in and out parking. I really love the feel of the store. Very calm. Relaxing like a spa. The cherry on top is their hours. Open so often that I never run out and have to wait or buy some where else. Thanks root cell for being there and awesome. read more

This guy and gal are cool beans! Their prices are 1/3 less than North Bay which has a fake points system. Customer service is chill. I'm hoping they add a regulars' points system to give some discounts to those who come and go weekly. Rave location for my vacation away from Allyn. read more

This place has a really good upscale boutique vibe. Really wide selection of products and knowledgeable staff.

Love this place. Knowledgeable staff, great deals and always cool new selections. The atmosphere inside is excellent...spa-like and very chill. There are no shortage of local marijuana options, but this is the only place I go now. read more

Awesome atmosphere! Not sure what the other persons issue with Craig was but I've never seen that staff be anything but helpful! Great products on the shelves, gorgeous interior and totally worth the drive from Gig Harbor! I highly recommend this place to everyone... Keep up the good work, Root Cellar! read more

This is my favorite store hands down, the stores layout and design is well thought out, has a great selection of products, and mostly has a knowledgable staff, that truly appreciate the plant! this retail cannabis location crushes the competition in its respective location. highly recommended read more

Awesome customer service. Knowledgeable staff and I really like it when I see employees at any business who stay there long term and are steady. It tells me they're content with their job and have a boss that's likeable and will work with you. Nice work, Craig. This is a good store for a first-timer or an old pro. You will find something that will tickle your fancy here without a doubt, there's a lot to choose from and it's always changing up. So ask questions if you have them and feel good about the information you receive here. read more

Had to give a low rating because of the customer service. The shop is great, very clean and nice. But the guy helping us, Jonathan, hardly greeted us or tried to strike up a conversation at all. When I was asking about the rewards program he pointed at a brochure and didn't explain anything to me. Bought our stuff we chose, he didn't help with that either, and as we were walking out I said "Have a good one!" And he completely ignored me to chat with his coworker instead. Of course all this isn't too bad but it was incredibly rude to me, enough so that I will drive the extra ten minutes somewhere else to get better customer service. Usually my weed stops are pleasant and he did not make it so. read more
