I went to UH Mānoa to check out the campus and went to the Queen Liliuokalani Student Services Building. In there is where NHSS is housed, being native Hawaiian and seeing it upon entering the structure on the second floor I decided to check it out to see what resources they had.
Its cool because its easy to spot from the outside and the hours its open is right on the door. When you enter there's a staff member where I asked a bunch of questions on scholarships and stuff that's around campus and they were really nice and knowledgable.
They have a wall full of events and stuff happening around on and off campus, volunteer opportunities, scholarships the whole bit. They have donation optional printing, a snack bar, computers to use/rent, lounge area, recycling system, and overall their lounge space is very functional and helpful if and when I decided to come to this campus.
Its nice to know that when I transfer there's someplace that I can go, that's not outside, that I can chill and do my homework or just study. I'm glad I decided to stop by into NHSS I will definitely be back here soon. read more
