CARPET REPLACED

5/26/25 so i gave it time to fluff up as they tried to say ,guess what this is not fluffing National Floors!!! you are a disappointment and you do not care .You got your money did a bait and switch and could care less... Please note the following encounter with National floors direct. I placed an order for carpet as per a home visit with Kevin Beard on 4/2/25 at my home. a control panel was introduced with carpet panels, as per discussion with Kevin i chose from his beard a product next to the black carpet that was my choice because i thought the black carpet would be easily tarnished with traffic. This product he identified as a steel beam gray carpet which was the darkest of the carpet panels next to black. Kevin contacted his warehouse manager with measurements to assure it was in stock. Once this was given the yes, we have it but needed a deposit will call/hold the amount stated by the sales rep was initially $425.00usd. After the call to the warehouse the amount was changed to $800.00 USD. Once we agreed on the price, the carpet thickness as I was replacing a reasonably thick carpet due to fire damage through the insurance company. We were all set, and I produced the check on 4/2/25 which was cashed on 4/4/25. I placed a call to see how to set up the installation and was told i had to call sales this was on or about 5/1/25,once I called the number provided, I was told I needed to pay an additional $425.00usd as the order was a special order requiring additional funds. As I discussed with the rep, I paid the 33% requirement at the initial appointment to hold my product on will call. after several conversations back and forth I was given an install date of 5/8/25 with no additional fee. On delivery day my techs showed up, started removing the carpet in the house, removed the carpet from the van and started cutting as I looked out the door. The first thing I noticed is this is not the dark gray that I saw on the board display. I instantly got on the phone with customer service. explained this is not the product or the thickness of the product I picked. The product thickness delivered is about half the size of the carpet that is being replaced. It would make no sense to go from a thicker carpet to a thinner carpet that my insurance is paying to replace. this was to no avail as they simply stated well this is what the sales rep put in and he can't help or make changes. As I explained each prior call, I requested to have the sales rep contact me with no communication back from him. After several minutes of getting nowhere with the staff on the phone , I told the installers to just put it in to not delay them or cause them to miss their next job. At this point I am reading the contract and will be following up with the arbitration steps noted in the contract with https://www.adr.org/. Also, I will be filing with the BBB,Md consumer protection division and doing a google and yelp review on my experience overall with this company. I thought that perhaps the company had a reputable consumer-based relation but see I was mistaken. Photos tan carpet of what was replaced notice backing and size. Gray carpet notice back and thickness.

New refrigerator, old floating floor, and old linoleum flooring.

The company owner and employees are highly professional, skilled, easy to collaborate with, customer friendly, neat, honest, end of workday clean up, and competitive pricing. We were totally pleased with their work and immediately hired them to do a full renovation of an existing deck (25 x 36) to include a (16 x 16) gazebo. Again, this is not a paid for advertisement. The company does exceptionally magnificent work which is extremely hard to find these days. S. H. Miranda Remolding Company is a 5-star company.

Update on my Original Review: AVOID at ALL COST…read more.. (UPDATE on my ORIGINAL REVIEW) The owner called me to discuss the EXTREMELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE we had, and the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE provided by his employees. I appreciated his personal outreach, and was gracious enough to give them another chance. During the "2nd Chance Visit", his carpet estimator was incredibly rude to my female tenant, made it seem like he was doing her a favor to show-up, and verbally CURSED AT MY FEMALE TENANT. She became afraid and asked the carpet estimator to leave because she felt unsafe. I respect & appreciate the OWNER for trying to make things right, but if this is the caliber of employee that his company hires, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. It is 1,000% UNACCEPTALBE for a service provider that has been invited into someone's home to curse at a woman. UNACCEPTABLE. District Floor Depot WILL NOT be getting my business, and I hope that no consumer supports this type of behavior by doing business with them. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) This company offers HORRIBLE customer service. I scheduled multiple appointments, and they just didn't show up. They called and said the representative was outside. THEY LIED. We immediately opened the door, and no one was there. I called right back, and they said the representative was there, but left. They lied. We were looking for them the entire time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. Go to a reputable company that appreciates & values its customers and their time. I would not accept free carpet from them at this point. INTEGRITY MATTERS.

To be fair and upfront, this review has nothing to do with any work that was performed; because we…read moredid not choose remodel after seeing the quote. It has everything to do with the experience with the sales person. Mike showed up a few minutes after the scheduled time which is fine, living in the NOVA area there's traffic so its understandable they could be late. He seemed fine came in looked around asked us a bunch of questions about the house, what renovations we have done, did we plan on staying here a long time etc. The problem here is he talked about us and our house for 30 mins then went to measure our bath tub/shower. It was around our dinner time and we had ordered food, when the food came we asked if he would mind stepping out to allow us to eat and he was fine with that. My wife and I talked and we have been through sales like this before. They bring their bags of samples, give a presentation of their company and Kohler (we were looking at the Kohler LuxStone shower) and it has always been way over priced. With that after we finished eating, we went outside and I explained to him that we've gone through pitches like this in the past and from experience it's always way more expensive than it should be. To save himself trouble and time, and to save us the rest of the night I asked him to "spitball" a rough price for the most basic model, if it was over our budget he could go ahead and go. He insisted that he didn't know what that would be and he HAD to give his presentation. Mind you, he said he was a general manager I would assume he would have a rough figure, he only said it would be more than 5k less than 20k. 5-7k was our budget so we told him let's skip all the fluff, let's talk numbers. So he got there at 6:05pm 2-1/2 hours later we FINALLY see the numbers. During the time after dinner, and him "building our order" my wife was falling asleep at the table and I was watching TV. We see the number $16,000 to replace a bath to stand up shower. I told him that's a hard no for us. He said he wouldn't "twist our arms" earlier that evening, but as expected he tried. We spent less than that on needs, I.e a new roof and windows combined and they were NEEDS and functional. We replaced our HVAC units and the price was similar to his shower. Explained that shower was a want, we didn't need it. He went on to say how they had all these great reviews everywhere, and I had said I seen some, he literally turned around put his hands on the table in a pretty aggressive manner and asked "what did you see" I told him they were decent reviews but the price was a sticking point for us, and it was still a hard no. He asked what price did we think and we told him, he said good luck. He asked what we paid for our roof, and said there's would be 3 times that amount. Long story short they are over priced. Don't use them. The fact he couldn't read his audience and couldn't see he lost them after the first hour says a lot. A bath to shower conversion should be between 4-10k depending on size, material and installation. We have a regular size bath, we're asking for very basic standard stuff and it still came back high. Go elsewhere

I saw this company was giving training for a sales job. Once I got into their "training" I knew it…read morewas a company I would not want to work with. Very pushy. I owned a home inspection company for a dozen years and simply "aged out" of that kind of work, so I thought that with my knowledge and experience, this would be a great fit. After a few classes, I realized it was not an organization I would want to work with. They just seemed to be skeevy my alarm bells went off so I left after the fourth class and never went back. Proceed with caution is my advice.
