It is under warranty, and when something goes wrong, they are in no hurry to find the parts. We had to chase them down to get them to honor the warranty, and they were unconcerned about leaving us without heat for 6-7 weeks in January. Now we have a new issue come up and they said it's only with one of the heads. And, as long as the back unit stays off, we should be able to have A/C until the new part comes again (who knows how long that will be given last time it was over a month). Two hours after they left, unit stopped working again. Another season where JCO leaves us hanging without a working unit. Quality of new install, customer service, and diagnostics have all been unsatisfactory. Update: JCO diagnosed the issue during their visit as requiring a new PCB. I ran the self-correction for the wiring on the unit myself and the issue was rectified. So, the issue was related to them miswiring things at the last maintenance fix, and then misdiagnosing the issue at their latest visit. It's also convenient that their diagnosis would have required us to pay them for additional maintenance.

They were an all around pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend them.

I discussed drop in refrigerants that were comparable with my system prior to adding refrigerant. He dropped in 407C which is not compatible with the mineral oil system I run and it destroyed the system knowing full well that 407C is not compatible with mineral oil system I had. They are a professional company that knows the compatibility of refrigerants and they intentionally added it knowing that it would kill my system in hopes to sell me a new system. This type of behavior is totally unacceptable and I fear that other innocent customers will be taken advantage of buy them. Please consider another company if you value your system. I selected 1 star because I had to select something to post this review. They don't deserve a star.

They were very responsive and checked things out. made recommendations and then offered a bid. We did get a second opinion and their work would have meant tearing out a wall to fit the compressor they used. So, we used Comfort Flow. They were professional, knowledgeable and hard workers. The job was very complex requiring electricians, plumbers and system skills and knowledge. This messy situation also occurred during late fall and because of delayed transport we had no heat. They supplied us with great space heaters. Overall, it was a complicated Job well done. Second time with them, we needed a ductless heater/air conditioner for our VRBO. Their salesman came, checked the space, made a recommendation and - voila! The job was done and completed in a day. The results are just dandy! They are a fine and responsive business who actually call you back and get the job done!

One of their…read moretechnicians came out when our heating broke down, supposedly fixed it and yet turned a capacitor upside down so it would cause problems later. A friend of ours who knew about heating a/c systems, caught the issue and we got a refund from Comfort Flow for that visit. We are now in need of a whole new system and the current heating a/c company we are using (not Comfort Flow), has noted the original wiring was done incorrectly. Our system was set up to fail as Comfort Flow used wiring for a smaller system than what they gave us. Looks like they were hoping for more paid visits from us as customers. I hate to say it, but they do not have a good track record with us and now I see our original set-up was designed to have issues. Stay far away from this company.

Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn't covered -- as if that excused a failure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn't ours to begin with. Being charged for someone else's mistake just doesn't sit right with me. I asked multiple times for the service manager to call me so we could discuss the charges. He didn't call until two weeks after the repair was already completed. He claimed he had called several times, but after checking my call log, he had only called once -- and didn't leave a message. If you're looking for a company that stands behind their work and communicates honestly, you may want to look elsewhere.

Now the negatives-  1.I asked for their most experienced crew and I was promised this certain team (I even verified a few days before as well). They sent a different team.  2. They do not sanitize the brushes and wands that go into your ducts which means they are introducing into your ducts everything from previous jobs- which could be rodent droppings and urine, dust mites, mold, diseases from dead animals, etc. I had the foresight to know this and asked them to please sanitize the brushes and wands first. I hope they did. 3. After they finished, they could not get the system back up and running. They tried for an hour and then I called the supervisor and he walked them through it (an extra hour of my time and a lot of angst on a Friday afternoon with 95 degree forecast over the weekend). 4. After they left I noticed the grilles were not on right (turned the wrong way, old paint showing where not lined up right, and screws missing), the return register was tightened so much all four corners were bent, the plaster was cracked on many sides of the registers and the return, the screws to the furnace were not tightened, the door where the filter goes was not shut tight. They came back out to fix what they could (another 2 hours of my time), but thank goodness I checked and noticed. 5. And I am not sure my system was left in the same working order it was in, the air flow actually seems diminished instead of better.
