I initially assumed it was nothing serious, but by the following evening, one tire was completely flat. To be clear, I understand there's no way to know for sure whether the tire was damaged while the car was at the shop or while I was driving it home or the following day. I genuinely acknowledge that uncertainty. That said, the timing concerned me. I took the car to Just Tires, where I had purchased all four of the tires in 2022. I was told that the flat tire could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Replacing two tires, which is fairly typical (depending on tread wear and matching) was recommended. The total cost, including tax and installation, was about $575. I discussed the situation with Ken Papas at Ashland Tire, and I appreciate the way he handled it. He didn't dismiss my concern, but he also fairly pointed out that neither of us could pinpoint when the damage occurred. He offered $150 toward the replacement cost, which I accepted. I think that was a reasonable, good-faith gesture, even though covering the cost of one tire would have felt more satisfying. I'm leaving a positive review because the exhaust issue has been resolved (so I assume the original repair was done correctly) and because Ken handled an uncertain situation professionally. I had been taking my car around to a few different shops in the area, and wasn't really having any luck, so I was pretty exhausted by trying to explain everything, but right away, they were just like "we'll just do a full inspection of everything!" I wasn't fully confident that they'd catch much (as other shops had not been able to catch anything going on). I took the car in right as they closed on a Wednesday, and by like 10am the next morning, I was sent a link to TekMetric - an app they use to document their entire process, including photos, diagnoses, and individual notes from the tech. The total on the repairs was MUCH higher than I anticipated, and I was a bit freaked out, but when I called them, I spoke with the person who inspected my car, and we went through each item individually over the phone, and discussed what was immediate safety concerns, things I SHOULD do but could get away with, and things that are more preventative measures that will need to be addressed down the line. They were very upfront with me about the timeline, which was a very quick turnaround. I've seriously have never been so impressed with a shop before. Their labor cost per hour was a little bit higher than what I saw from other local shops, but honestly, for this level of service, and how confident I was moving forward with the work, it was worth it.

I found them by searching online, and I called ahead and drove in on a spare tire without an appointment. Nin and Tony were able to look at the flat tire I took out of the trunk, fix it, and put it back on my car within a half hour of my getting there. They also looked at the spare I drove in on during that time, because it was flat by the time they reinstalled the regular tire. Though the spare couldn't be repaired because of where the damage was on it, Nin referred me to a tire place he likes, and told me who to ask for by name. He also suggested I could ask that place if I can get a discount on a new spare if I trade in the old one. I don't expect to get seen so fast by a service provider, without an appointment, and then pay nothing, but that's what happened. They didn't charge me, but I gave them a tip anyway. I'm writing this 10 days after the repair, and the tire is still good as new. I'm very grateful for the service!

The interesting thing was that the noise only happened after a couple minutes of driving or on a very hot and humid day. They recommended I replace the struts and I listened as I have no knowledge of cars. Sure enough the sound was not gone after an $800 repair. I took the car back to them the next day in hopes for a proper diagnoses as i'm sure I needed the struts replaced but that wasn't why I came in the first place. They made me drive around for 30 minutes to try and get the noise to happening again and thankfully it started very subtly as I needed to get back to work. The manager had both his technicians come out to look at the car and the first guy looked completely lost as to what it could be (mind you this was the guy who replaced the struts to begin with), the second guy figured the first guy installed the struts wrong. So they end up telling me they'll redo the strut installation and give the car a wheel alignment (the alignment should've been done with the initial replacement). I wait till end of day and they tell me to come pick it up, manager says they reinstalled the struts and couldn't fit the alignment in today, so I wait until the following Tuesday as that was the only time I could drop it off for an alignment. Later that day I pick it up and the manager says they did the alignment for free due to the inconvenience but it doesn't feel aligned. Low and behold, the noise is still there, after bringing it back in the manager keeps it all day and tells me "we think we found the issue and it's going to be an expensive repair" I had to specifically ask what is the repair. He says I need a rack and pinion replacement, I call BS. So I take it to another shop trusted by family and they also call BS and diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes. My control arms were worn out and needed replacing, sure enough after that repair the issue was gone. TLDR : Basically only take your vehicle here for basic maintenance, I would've paid over $1500 to not have my issue resolved.

They came out, helped get my car towed, walked me through the replacement process, and made sure I could get a protective cage installed to prevent it from happening again.
