The community center faced a baseball field. The building itself looks professional with a hint of rustic. A large reception hall is available for rental. Rates vary based on day of the week, and if the party renting lives within the township/ Three Rivers area. Grounds are well maintained. Behind the building is a small playground. This is a great added bonus if throwing a party where children are to be in attendance. From the balcony the playground is visible. Many trees have been planted so that the playground is not the main focus of the view. Various public events are held here throughout the year. In August, two outdoor concerts are held. The food is excellent and they offer many different options. My issue has been with communication with the representatives and a missing dress. When we booked the venue we were told that we (bride's family) would receive the leftover food which we did not receive. It's very difficult when you know for a fact that there was a decent amount left. I had paid extra money to have all of our things packed up and loaded into my car. So I had hoped that the food was packed and loaded in my car, which it wasn't. Then I had left a dress there and called the venue the next day and was told it was found and would be sent to me. It's been 6 weeks and have never received the dress. When I emailed them I was "informed" that it was sent. I contacted them about 1-2 weeks later asking yet again, and was told it was sent and there's nothing they can do about it. Sadly, with what has transpired between the contact person, I am having a hard time believing that something being mailed from Cincinnati to Northern Kentucky would not have reached me a long time ago, even if it got returned to sender, at least they would have let me know. And lastly, I was contacted two days after the event and was told they "forgot" to add a tax onto my final bill which I had paid in full prior to the wedding. They proceeded to tell me since the food being boxed and sent home with me was not written in the contract, that it was basically my fault. I hated doing it, but I said since the tax wasn't written down, that I shouldn't have to pay that. I had gotten so aggravated and to this day, 6 weeks after the wedding, I still haven't received my dress, and plan on never getting it. I didn't complain when we ran out of appetizers for 200 people, especially since I didn't see many of the staff walking around with them. The bride and groom only got 2 of each appetizers and that was it. You would think with 600 "pieces" that there would be enough for people. Everyday up to the wedding was perfect, but with what has occurred since then has left me feeling aggravated.

My wife booked a room for her elderly mother, who needed to be out of the house while some…read moreconstruction work was being done. She booked this hotel specifically because their website clearly states that they will accept "pets" for a non-refundable fee of $50. When my mother-in-law arrived at the hotel, she was turned away, told that the hotel does not accept cats. Apparently, whoever designed the website didn't know how to spell "dogs", and so my wife's mother ended up paying the price, having nowhere to stay, with no warning, and with nowhere else to go. When I called the hotel to ask why this happened, the representative on the phone simply lied, stating that their policy in fact only allows for dogs, and for a $75 fee. When I read the text to her as it is listed (see the attached screenshot), on the hotel's own website, she simply argued with me. No apology for an error that the hotel was at fault for, which resulted in their turning away an elderly woman who needed the room she was promised. I hope the criminals that run this scam of a hotel chain treat their own mothers better than they've treated ours.

I found dark brown hair in the bathroom on sink and on the toilet, the desk chair was caked with old food, the desk was not cleaned properly, the mattress uncomfortable, the pillows and blanket felt very synthetic almost plastic. I am glad I only booked it for one night. The staff was friendly but if I would have the choice of staying at the Hampton again or someplace else - I would choose someplace else.
