I first went to Dr. Davis for braces as a young adult and had such a great experience that years later, when it was time for my daughter, I knew exactly where to go back. It took me a while to write this review because I've been dreading having to write it since I was very happy with my orthodontic results, but I feel that it is my duty to let others know about the dishonest way that this office conducts business in regards to insurance and billing. I had already paid for my orthodontic procedure in full, but I switched to my husband's insurance and they tried to bill my new insurance for all of my prior visits which, I had already paid in full! Luckily we received an Explanation Of Benefits from our insurance company and we contacted our insurance company to let them know of the duplicate charges and our insurance rightfully denied the charges. We thought that everything was peachy now, but we were wrong. Since our insurance rightfully denied the duplicate charges, the office then billed our insurance with my husband listed as the patient! My husband has never stepped foot through their doors let alone be their patient! After finding out about these egregious charges, I didn't have it in me to go back for my last appointment. Although they did great work on my teeth and I was happy with the results, the dishonest insurance charges left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never step foot through their doors again. If you decide to do business with them, make sure to triple check your bills and insurance! read more

I would just like to update my review. Though we did not go with Dr. Davis, which this was the biggest disappointment for me because Dr. Davis evaluated my son for about 2 years prior to him actually needing braces. It was maybe about 5-6 visits. We would have gone with Dr. Davis had he be In Network with our dental insurance. But, my husband was insistent on this. However, if Dr. Davis could match the price of the ortho that is In Network that we were going to choose, he would consider him. Unfortunately, Dr. Davis could not come close. Gena was so professional at letting me know and our communications with the pricing and all was so professionally done. Gena was the office person that does the finances and I would give her like a 10 star. We were honest with each other and I found that so refreshing, no games. I gave her our bottom line and she did what she could. Dr. Davis would have had to basically probably break even or take a loss to take my son, and that wasn't a good fiscal choice. Dr. Davis and staff, though you couldn't earn our business, I hope that you get 100 clients in place of my son that go with you. As an adult needing braces for years I was very nervous but excited to finally be able to fix my teeth issues. Immediately I felt comfortable in Dr. Davis' office. All of the staff have been knowledgeable and friendly. They went over all payment options, treatment plans, and timeline answering all of my questions. Staff was very friendly! Shawna up front is super nice and very patient. Was lost for fifteen minutes and was freaking out because I didn't want to be late to my appointment but she didn't mind being my personal google maps!!! She was so sweet. Gina with the perfect smile was also super friendly she took my X-rays quickly and with very little discomfort. I'm not very good at adulting, so talking to professionals makes me nervous but she made sure it wasn't too awkward- very nice lady!!! Dr. Nathan was super nice as well. We have been very pleased so far w/ our experience at Nathan Davis Orthodontics. The initial consult was an easy process and I felt Dr. Davis went out of his way to make not only my daughter (who is the patient) feel comfortable but also my son, who was tagging along. We had gone to several orthodontists to get different opinions and quotes and Davis ended up being in the middle of the quotes we'd been given but I appreciated the rapport he developed with my daughter and also thought his plan seemed most reasonable. The hygienist who applied her brackets was a bit prickly at times (my daughter is a talker and I felt she cut my daughter's questions off a few times) but overall was knowledgeable and professional. My daughter is the 3rd generation going to Dr. Davis. My husband's parents and siblings all got braces through this office. We got a couple of consults prior to deciding on braces because my daughter is young. Gina and Dr. Davis were completely honest and caring! We even had to wait an extra 3 months because we didn't choose the right insurance plan that had orthodontic care! My husband hadn't seen Dr. Davis in years but as soon as he walked in he knew his name and the whole family. Dr. Davis always makes time to explain what the plan is and answer any questions I have. He is great with kids and is always very friendly. The office feels like family! My husband is a firefighter so I'm always taking my almost 2 year old with me. Awesome office!! Dr.Davis dad did my braces when I was a kid :) We have 4 kids..3 of which have all now had braces through Dr.David and our youngest isn't too far behind. Office staff is amazing and efficient. They have incentives to encourage good hygiene with braces. Our one daughter who was 8 I felt was young but her poor mouth is small and teach were so crooked. Dr.Davis went through all our options and said "if she were my kid this is what I'd do". So we did and she got a phase 1 set of braces when she was 8..braces only on for 11 months and the difference was amazing. We couldn't even think of going anywhere else! We went to several consults with different offices. Nathatn Davis came highly recommended by a friend. So we went there for a consult as well. When you walk in the office staff is so friendly and happy to help with all my questions. We met with Nathan Davis and were sold as soon as we left the office. He took his time to explain all the details of the treatment that would be needed. I never felt like we were rushed. I never felt like we were just another person. He made us feel like he truly cared. Not to mention his great sense of humor as well. We have gone in for a couple appointments now. This all started when my dentist told me my bottom teeth are rubbing against my upper teeth, in time they would be thin and could crack.. So, as an adult, I decided to have my teeth straighten. My upper teeth looked okay, but the bottom were very crocked. I went to Dr. Nathan Davis for consultation. He said he could definitely help to correct this issue. He explained the details, length of time it would take to have my teeth straighten, he was very honest, straight forward and reassuring. Fast forward, my braces are off and this issue has been corrected. The best part is, I can't believe how great my teeth look. Before I had the braces put on, I took my own pictures.. Now, looking at the finished product and comparing this to the before picture, the results are amazing, way beyond my expectations.. I had thought only my bottom teeth needed help, but now, I realized how wrong I was, my upper teeth were just as poor. Even today, I still can't believe the difference. We love Davis orthodontics! I totally recommend their office! I have six children and five of the six have had treatment, plus myself, or are in treatment now. One of our daughters has an unusual situation. We were very worried about how to handle it. Dr. Davis really made us feel like she was in good hands and quickly took that worry away.
