They've given me deals on several occasions just for being a repeat customer and are just generally awesome. The pizza here is something else. The dough is so very delicious and has the perfect combination of crisp and squish that makes for amazing pizza. They put the perfect amount of cheese on their pizza and do the very best they can to ensure you get just the right amount of toppings. A wonderful surprise that I recently discovered is their amazing fish and chips. I just have to say. OH MY GOD!! This is some amazing fish and chips! They also deliver :D They give realistic delivery estimates and are very cheerful upon arrival. As an added bonus they always remember addresses of regular customers and once they recognise your voice or phone number they will often ask if you would like (regular order). Honestly I can't give these guys enough praise. They really are awesome. If you are in the area please check them out. Finally someone in the Valley who can make REAL food and not shut down for the 'winter'! Great year…read moreround hours open Wednesday to Sunday, 11 AM - 8 PM. We have been excited to try this spot since it opened in the fall but it was always super busy but the wait was well worth it. This is a take out so if it's off-season, expect to sit in your car to wait for your food or pre-order ahead of time if you want it ready when you show up. You get a little buzzer to take to your car if you do choose to wait, so it's a great system. In the summer, there is a lot of outdoor seating at picnic benches. The chicken shawarma was massive and delicious! Fresh ingredients and fluffy pita bread. Good bang for your buck. The 'hot' fish was also really good but not actually spicy. The only things I'd suggest the owner to change is to make the sauce less runny to avoid making the fish batter soggy and to switch from shredded to leaf lettuce - it would make less of a mess. We got fries to share but we could have done without. They're nice and crispy and not overly salty. Quite a few fun 'maritime' options on the menu that we will be back to try like lobster sandwich and lobster poutine. It's nice to finally see someone investing in the area with good food. The area really doesn't need another deep fried, overly battered greasy fish and chips place so this is very welcomed. Super accessible right on the highway. Lots of parking. Looking forward to seeing what else the owners do with the place!

If you're a local, you will likely enjoy this place. Bland, bland, bland is all we can say here. We…read morewere looking forward to some woodfired pizza, but for some reason, Nova Scotians can't figure out that you need QUALITY ingredients and actual flavour. Let's start with the location. It's in the parking lot of the Petro Canada at the end of a strip mall; parking is horrendous when you're trying to contend with people driving whatever way possible to the pumps. Then there's the inside. It's about as tacky as Nova Scotians can get! Absolutely no colour. Homemade tables that are awkwardly jammed close together with cheap ikea seating. Need to go to the washroom? Feel free to walk right through the kitchen to get to it! What?? How did any inspector approve this?! The set up is awkward in here that we should have known to expect mediocre. We were definitely fooled by the wood oven! While you certainly can't beat a wood-fired crust, spending $50+ on two personal sized pizzas is the biggest waste of money in Berwick. We can't figure out who decided this was a good idea, but it was pretty off-putting to order water and getting a crappy plastic bottle of it. Nothing here comes in a glass; it's basically canteen-style so cans of pop and bottled water. We are not sure how this is an actual sit down restaurant and not a cheap food truck at a carnival given their prices and quality. Lest we forget to mention the cheap paper 'menus'. Now, out comes the pizza. Talk about an unappetizing Margherita pizza. Both that and the pepperoni looked identical minus the meat and basil switched. Someone clearly does not understand how to make an Italian pizza with sliced mozzarella instead of crappy cheese just grated. The worst part here is that there is absolutely ZERO flavour. They pride themselves on homemade sauce and ingredients, but they obviously do not understand that a sauce should have a taste and pepperoni should have flavour and spice. This was a truly disappointing experience and we aren't surprised the locals love it. People here do not understand how to make good, quality food because they are used to burgers and fries or fish and chips. Anything else is 'exotic' to the locals. If you're looking for a proper wood fired pizza in the Valley, skip this wannabe spot and head over to Lightfoot & Wolfville. Not only are their pizzas made with quality ingredients, they're cheaper AND you have an absolutely stunning view.

I called ahead and ordered the sausage and peppers pizza without onions. I asked for a plate , knife & fork and napkins. I got 2 napkins and the clerk had to go to the back to get a plate. I asked for more napkins and got two more and a snooty look. No knife or fork. seems I didn't need a knife or fork, I should have had a spoon. the first piece was ok when I folded it, although it dripped a bit. it tasted ok, but looking back I was famished. by the time I got to the second piece it was soggy and I had problems keeping the toppings on it. The third piece was a real soaker. it was entirely wet and I lost 1/2 the toppings trying to get it on the plate. I had to pick up the toppings with my fingers because... no fork. As a summary, it tasted ok, but for $25 I'll get something I can eat that is less messy like an Donair and not have it sliding out of my hands.
