This was our first visit here. My fiancé and I took my parents here for my birthday dinner. We were a little disappointed. We thought this place was pretentious for the city of a Macon. The prices are a little ridiculous for the quality of food. We don't have a problem spending $40+ on an entree but those $40-50 entrees are totally worth it with presentation, and elevated flavor. We started with calamari. The calamari was too salty. All our entrees were good but not spectacular. I felt like I had better meatballs at a local ma and pa Italian restaurant in fort myers fl. My mom loved the shrimp in her pesto pasta. My fiancé stuck with the rigatoni which can't be messed up too much. I felt like and I was expecting more options on the menu. The service was great. And with having such high prices I believe the seating arrangements should be a little different. Having 4 grown adults scoot in a corner booth is very silly and only occur at a Denny's. I wanted to impress my parents who were visiting us and to have a special birthday dinner. But having my 70+ old parents struggling to get in and out of the booth was ridiculous. I had to redeem their first Macon culinary experience and take them to the Rookery. Yes this is a nice fancy place to impress your dates. But my fiancé and I will be trying other restaurants for our date nights.

My husband and I stumbled upon Natalie's while searching for a fine dining establishment in Macon. We made reservations and dined here on a Saturday night. The staff was friendly and professional, and we were seated immediately after arrival. The ambiance was intimate, with dim lighting, and the music playing was elegant. The decor was traditional yet had an expansive look with decorative finesse. Our waitress was personable and attentive. We started off with drinks, and they were made well. I had the white Sangria, and my husband had the  Peach Old Fashioned. We shared an appetizer of calamari, which was flavorful and crispy. It is definitely on my top 5 list of best calamari. Toasted bread and cream cheese was served to the table, It was tasty. My entree was the Chilean Seabass, and my husband had the grilled salmon. The fish was cooked properly, and all the flavors of both dishes married well. The presentation was also lovely. Customer Service was outstanding. The food and drinks were superb. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant to impress a date or for a special occasion, look no further.

The ambiance was just right for the occasion of my anniversary. The staff were courteous and the food was amazingly good and well portioned.

Food & service were incredible. We had a large party and it was flawless, our group loved the crab cake.

Eating at long last at Natalia's after all these years! I moved away from Macon back in the 80s, when they first opened & never had the pleasure of dining here when the original owner, Natalia, opened it. Thus, I can't compare the recipes, service, etc. to how "it used to be." A friend's family invited me to their annual holiday dinner so I'm not reviewing as a "regular" diner. We enjoyed the cozy bar right before settling in to one of their private banquet rooms, decked out for Christmas. The three-course menu offered an enticing variety. I chose a Caesar Salad, Steelhead Trout w/ broccollini & roasted potatoes + Tiramasu dessert. The ricotta with herbs and olive oil that came with the bread was a nice touch. Everything was consistently good. I thought they might offer more traditional Italian dishes, such as Gnocchi, Cioppino or Ossobuco and/or desserts like Panna Cotta, New York-style Italian Cheesecake or Zabaglione. Because I'm Italian, I've grown up eating at iconic Italian restaurants, in Atlanta, NYC & San Fran, so have "outrageous" expectations! Thankful to finally dine here, experience the local ambience and warmth of the servers/bartender though.

This is a "special occasion" restaurant that we happened on while driving home from Florida. It is very cute from the outside--like a European villa. Most people were fairly dressy but we were in capri pants and shorts. They seated us in the bar area and were very gracious. The service was prompt and efficient, bringing me a Tanquery and tonic quickly. We odered two appetizers--burata and tappanade bruscheta, and braesoala carpaccio. Both great! And then for mains we had Shrimp pasta, and Redfish sautee. Again both were really great. If you get a chance to go--definitely do it!!

Chevo's Mexican Restaurant - A loaded Baked Potato. It looks wonderful. It was only $3.00. But the flavor of the potato was very off.

The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. It's a bit dim on the inside. When you walk through the doors two employees cheerfully greet you. I love the atmosphere. Its very genuine and relaxed. I ordered two side portions of beans and rice for $2.50 each. I also ordered a loaded baked potato. My food came out quickly and i was surprised by the quantity. It was a sizeable portion of food for $9.41. The side Portion of beans abd rice were larger than I had expected and the restaurant also gave me chips with salsa. I loved the beans and Spanish rice. They were absolutely delicious. I could also tell the beans and rice were prepared fresh. I didn't like the potato at all. The taste of the potato was off. It tasted like it had been stored with other produce or meats maybe and had soaked up their flavorings. The potato taste was not even there. I kept tasting something else and the taste was very offputting. I had to put the sour cream and butter on the potatoes to make it barely edible and to drown out that peculiar stale taste of something that was coming through. And it wasn't a pleasant meal. The potato also tasted like it had been cooked some time ago and then warmed up. Or reheated. It wasn't good at all. So I will never order that again. Overall the meal was semi pleasant. I may come back to Sample the other dishes.

I can only speak to their wings and fries so here we go: Their wings are always juicy, never overcooked. I always get the lemon pepper hot and the flavor is always on point. The wings are always nicely coated. The fries: A bit of crunch/texture on the outside and soft on the inside. PERFECT. The service? No matter who's behind the counter, they're always nice. The interior looks like it's been renovated somewhat recently. Always VERY clean. Best of all? Whether busy or not, I've always gotten my order in UNDER 10 minutes. They also have a few shakers at the front desk for you to sprinkle on your order. Lemon pepper and other flavors. I promise you - these are the best wings in Macon. Come give em a try!
