Was hungry on a Tuesday night after leaving a play. I thought I could just go home and snack, but my stomach rumbled and said otherwise. I was almost home and trying to figure out where to go when I remembered that Nash & Smashed just open and advertised they were 24 hours. I pulled up around 11pm and the place looked empty but walked up and the doors were open. The inside is mainly standing room only. This is a carryout and not for eat-in. You order and pay at a kiosk. They have an extensive menu with different chicken offerings, burgers, and shakes. The menu is a bit wonky and needs some adjustments. I tried to order a 3 piece tender meal with one side and a drink. The menu says $8.99 but when you select it, it acts like you have to pay extra to make it a meal. That's a bit misleading. I ended up ordering a kids meal that came with a chicken sandwich, seasoned fries and an apple juice. The order didn't take too long to come out and everything was packaged nicely. When I got home, I forgot to take a picture of the food. The food was good. The chicken was crispy and they had some good sauce on the bun. The fries were waffle fries and seasoned well. They just opened so I will give them grace but they have a few things to work on. I paid extra for pickels and received 3 of the littlest pickle slices on the sandwich. If I'm paying extra, I need you to load me up or don't make me pay at all. And they need to fix the kiosk ordering to make sure each item makes sense. I'll definitely be back to make sure the food is actually good and I wasn't just hungry!

This burger was EXCELLENT! Perfectly seasoned, tender meat, soft bread, not too much sauce! They nailed it on the taste. As far as service goes. Ir was ok. Nothing to write home about. And this isn't really a sit down style of spot so there's not much to say about the ambiance. Would I buy here again? ABSOLUTELY! Glad I stopped by today. My husband and I both loved every bite!

Only had the burger it was ok, you can opt out & ask for lettuce, & other healthier options. Like all veggies with mushrooms no buns & use wraps instead. Very clean, better than Big Macs all day & night long. It was the size of a whopper burger with much more toppings it was good in my opinion. This new location is on Marlboro Pike, Forestville Md. 3rd week just opened!

    Quadruple Monster Lettuce Wrap

I got a quadruple monster (uber eats) lettuce wrap and I was not disappointed. It was about a $20 burger and it tasted fresh. I will be back in person. The price and the taste are what makes this place great.

My sandwich was too salty the bread was cold and no favor. Next time I will try the smash burger

Good close quick food that I can regularly enjoy and good amount of food for price. You can order there or before you come and pick up.

Honestly we were so pleasantly surprised by how good the burgers are! I had the Capital Burger which had such incredible flavor and the burger itself is thick and juicy. Despite having just had a big dinner somewhere else, as I write this, my mouth is watering. My daughter had the wild mushrooms burger and she loved it -- the aioli had the perfect tang to go with the mushroom and Swiss, both burgers were cooked perfectly medium as requested. The old fashioned was just your typical old fashioned with a slice of candied bacon attached to the outside of the glass. We were hoping for something smokier and a little different but it was still a very good Old Fashioned. We shared the chocolate mousse and it was perfection. Yum! If I lived here this would be my new regular spot.

The young lady who helped us was cheerful, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. I apologize that I forgot her name, but she definitely deserves recognition. The food was your typical quick burger-and-fries meal, but everything was hot and fresh. The restaurant was also clean, and the prices were noticeably lower than most places these days. My only suggestion would be to keep paper towels stocked in the restroom. Overall, it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. I didn't take pictures we were starving!

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

Hopefully you can find street parking if you go on a day when it's not too busy in Leonardtown (Sunday). The menu had a variety of options and the young lady taking our orders was very helpful with giving us tips since it was our first time ordering. I ordered the OG Smash burger with double patty and made it a combo to add on the fries and a drink. Everything tasted good, but the burger did come out a bit greasy. That's expected though with a smash burger or any burger honestly. The smash sauce on the burger tasted very similar to spicy mayo and the fries were nicely crispy. The fountain drink options included Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Mr. Pibb, etc. I was told this was their new location and the interior looked nice. However, when the restaurant got busy, it felt very cramped given their setup. There was a good amount of seating, however not much room to wait for your order without feeling like you are standing in the way when all seats were taken. The drink station was also all the way in the back and becomes a one way path when it gets busy. The path to get from placing your order at the cashier up at the front, to the drink area in the back, got slim when busy since people were sitting at the tables and the bar. Although my first time here was a bit overwhelming given how busy it was, this place was a great option to get your smash burger fix! They also have other options including hot dogs, chopped cheese, tacos, etc. so there's something for everyone! I enjoy supporting local businesses and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items!

This time, I switched it up and got the mambo chicken sandwich over a bed of lettuce so essentially, a salad. My dad ordered the Lucky Burger, and we shared an order of fries. And honestly... this reminded me why I'm a bit torn on Lucky Buns. The food itself is definitely delicious and well-seasoned, but as someone who's gluten-free, I really wish they offered a lettuce wrap to simulate a bun instead of just turning everything into a salad . Being gluten-free already limits options, and the lack of gluten-free buns here is a bit of a bummer. For drinks, we grabbed the canned Snoop Dogg beverages, which were fun and different. They also offer beer, soda, and water - all canned or bottled. As for the setup: since it's located in Union Market, it's more of a food hall experience than a traditional sit-down restaurant. That said, the service is always solid, the staff is kind, attentive, and I really appreciate that they don't charge extra for sauces (a rare win these days). My biggest gripe is the pricing. I'm very familiar with Union Market and dine here often, but $17 for a burger without fries feels steep especially considering this isn't a full-service restaurant with wait staff. Overall: tasty food, great service, but I'd love to see more gluten-free-friendly options and slightly more reasonable pricing.
