Unfortunately, they sell too many tickets and they can't handle the crowds. Paid $65 for two people to get in and all four of the shows were already booked up and occupied and we could not enjoy the full experience. They should return a percentage of what you spend to get in.

yucky doo doo looked like vomit and tasted like it too "tater tot nachos" they didn't give us anything cheese passed the dq flip test

Fun museum, clean and friendly staff. Many things to do. For the family and fans of out-of-space is fantastic. Overall great experience.

What an incredible destination to explore! The opportunity to view authentic spacecraft and even step inside is truly a remarkable experience. It's a must-visit for any space enthusiast!

While in Texas, we finally had a chance to tower the Johnson Space Center/NASA Houston! This is an in-operation campus but mixed with tourist sightseeing. At the front of the campus is a museum dedicated to all of the space flights conducted by NASA, with a focus on the moon missions. You can see all sorts of historical artifacts and dioramas as well as interact with educational displays and touchscreens. There are also two gift shops and a cafeteria, to complete the tourist feel. As for the active campus part of the site, there is an hour and ten minute tram tour that takes you around the most-used buildings and inside of the vessel test lab. The tram tour ends at the Saturn V hangar where an actual rocket is on display in all its segments. Back at the museum, you can then also climb through one of the Boeing 747 that were modified to carry the Space Shuttles (with a full-size training mock-up of a Shuttle mounted to the top. Plenty to see and do and buy... though the cafeteria selection was very limited and pricey. So we opted to eat elsewhere. Recommended for the space history buffs, although others may be a little less enthusiastic about the museum and tours since there's not much inspire new curiosity in visitors.

Nice place to explore. Came here to tour my friend around Houston area. Very informative and cool!

When in Houston, this is a must see. I got our tickets from Groupon so we saved a lot of time during the admission. What we regret was not coming earlier. During weekdays, it opens only up to 5 pm unlike on weekends that is up to 7 pm. There are so many interesting things to see and with the long line that is unbearable , the chance of seeing all of it is slimmer. I enjoyed the story shared by the astronaut about his and his team missions when we attended the Meet and Greet portion of our tour. Fascinating to know about their preparation and life before and after each mission. I surprised myself enjoying seeing a real space shuttle that is on displayed due to cancellation of its trip. My children enjoyed being in the real mission control room. What we missed to see is the training facility for the astronauts. May we get the chance to see it on next visit if there will be. Being inside the building of highly presented NASA exhibits is an amazing experience. You do not need to know about astronautical science , it is being explain at all !

Not much to do and an overall boring experience. The one in Florida is much much better. The wait times for the trains to the Mission Control center is very long and you cannot walk there even though it's so close by. Also DO NOT use any machines (vending and any other ones), they may not work and scam you, and the staff can't do anything about them. I would recommend the one in Floridas but not really here, unless you just want to use your houston citypass on something.

Splashing down August 2, 2020 nearby in Pensacola!! It was 1975 when the last astronauts splashed down, I remember it well.

The reasons why today is the day for me to finish this draft is because the U.S. Congress passed legislation establishing the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the civilian agency responsible for coordinating America's activities in space, on today's date on July 29, 1958. While I did grow up right along with NASA it's origins go back to the early 40's and has a fascinating history. For a great summary and timeline check out: https://www.nasa.gov/centers/glenn/about/history/timeline.html I remember watching all those launches and of course the moon missions and later in life have remained curious about everything NASA. It's early years, for me, are very controversial (look up operation paperclip) and there's been a lot of others like when they lost the Apollo 11 moon footage, wow people are still taking about that one. But beyond the missteps and political wranglings NASA has been enormously beneficial to our curious minds and out everyday lives. Let's talk camera phones, portable computes, memory foam, freeze-dried food, firefighting equipment, emergency "space blankets", DustBusters, cochlear implants, and of course, TANG :-) In the 63 years since it's establishment there's been innumerable discoveries but with their partnerships with the European Space Agency, SpaceX, Blue Origins and others for space tourism the work is already underway plans including landing the first woman on the Moon, establishing a space station in orbit around the Moon, and returning samples of Martian rock to Earth and beyond with a manned Mars mission. It's all pretty fantastic indeed! I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the most tragic NASA events, 36 years ago Jan 28th, when the space shuttle Challenger exploded just after takeoff, with the loss of all it's 7 crew. The first teacher-in-space Christa McAuliffe, astronauts Gregory Jarvis and Judith Resnik, mission commander Dick Scobee, astronaut Ronald McNair, pilot Mike Smith, and astronaut Ellison Onizuka. It was a very, very sad day. For many of the GenX this was probably their first "remember where you were" moment in history. Switching gears, for all of you fellow sky gazers here's something that's coming up. The Perseids are the most popular meteor shower as they peak on warm August nights as seen from the northern hemisphere. The Perseids are active from July 17 to August 24 and reach a strong maximum on August 12th. Normal rates seen from rural locations range from 50-75 shower members per hour at maximum. On a NASA related note, there's quite a bit going on at NASA all the time and next month they've doing a live meteor event that is great if you've got cloudy skies. https://fb.me/e/2kqQeA0t5 Bottom line:When you think of NASA, you probably think of astronauts, satellites, Mars rovers, and telescopes that study distant planets and far off galaxies but in fact the planet they've studied the most is Earth because it is the one place in the entire solar system where humans can actually live. So yeah, it's pretty important.

Not only was the Boardwalk Bullet a blast and a half to ride, but my back and neck were A-OK after I got off. No problem with whiplash whatsoever! One of the smoothest wooden rollercoasters I've ever been on, in fact. If you are 100+ years old, frail, barely able to walk and such, but yet you're trying to decide whether or not you should try a ride on the Boardwalk Bullet, I assure you, you'll be fine! Just make sure to wear your Depends, though.

This is review #1000 for me (should be #1002, but I won't go into the details of why two of them…read morewere removed, grrrr), so it had to be special. How about this: #1000, I'm the first one to write a review on it, and one of the great rollercoasters in the country. The Boardwalk Bullet opened in 2007 a few feet from Galveston Bay. It's a woodie, and it's a crazy one. I had heard that the Texas Cyclone was relocated here from Astroworld, that DID NOT happen, these are two very different coasters. From a distance, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. The reality is much greater. First, you're waiting in line, and when the train zips under you, the entire structure shakes. Second, there is a place to put your hat, purse, phone, etc.; loose articles are prohibited. If you're nervous about riding, simply step through the train and leave, although you just lost $6 by doing so. If you do sit down, you're in for a thrill. I rode near the back, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between front and back. The Bullet never slows down from the first drop to the finish. There are three big drops, and they're all gnarly. The big feature, indeed is speed: although it barely goes over 50mph, the turns are tight, the drops are sudden, and you have only a split second to prepare for anything. The Bullet packs a lot into a small space, which makes it more intense than 80mph on a 200-foot drop. Its high noise level increases the excitement level. It's like a smaller version of the Ghost Rider in California's Knott's Berry Farm: smaller, shorter, but the same out-of-control feel. Some coasters are yawners. Others have you say "hey, that was pretty good." The Boardwalk Bullet is one of those that you'll want to ride again and again and again.

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!
