In the past, we trusted them with several pieces of jewelry, but more recently we've had items returned to us damaged. The most recent experience was especially disappointing. We brought in pieces that had previously been repaired there because the repairs had failed and stones had fallen out. Instead of standing behind the work, the current owner attempted to charge us for the stones that had fallen out and that we had provided for resetting. To make matters worse, he questioned whether the stones were even purchased from their store and suggested they may have come from somewhere else. This was surprising and frustrating, considering we've used Camillo's exclusively for years. It really highlighted a disconnect with the customer relationship we thought we had built over time. After years of loyalty, we've decided it's time to find a jeweler who values long-term customers and stands behind their work. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Camillo's.

One, a simple watch battery replacement. The other, a well-deserved wedding ring upgrade. Battery replacement had a few hiccups but solved and fine. Yeah, we might have bought another Cartier the same day. Let's talk about the ring experience. Our Ambassador, Kristi Patricia, was amazing. Her knowledge and dedication to our experience was remarkable. We met for a consultation where we discussed my wife's wants, expectations and desires. It was a personal, special experience. After showing us some samples, she then went on a 2-3 week search for a stone that fit. When we returned, she nailed it. Every stone was brilliant. And my wife picked her stone. This is a tough review for me to write, and honestly I went back and forth between three and four…read morestars. I recently brought Little Watch Shop a Rolex that needed repair. The crown had fallen off, and there were some additional issues that needed to be addressed. The total repair was around $800. This particular watch is important to me. I bought a new watch when each of my children was born, and this is one of those watches. I purchased it new, still have all the documentation, and have owned it for years. So it has considerably more sentimental value to me than just being a Rolex. The shop itself was professional and communicative. They called me back, kept me informed, and the overall service experience was good. I've dealt with other watch shops that felt inconsistent or even a little sketchy, and I never got that feeling here. Where I'm disappointed is the actual outcome. They weren't able to replace everything with genuine Rolex parts, which I would have strongly preferred, and more importantly, after the repair I was told the watch is no longer water resistant to the point where I should swim with it. That's a pretty significant downside for me. After spending roughly $800 repairing a Rolex, I didn't expect to end up with a watch that I now have to remember to take off before getting into a pool. It changes how freely I can wear a watch that I've worn and enjoyed for years. In hindsight, I probably should have sent it directly to Rolex, particularly given the sentimental value. I may still get a second opinion, although I've already spent the $800. So this is a difficult one. The shop provided good service, communicated well, and I don't have anything negative to say about how I was treated. I'm just disappointed that such an expensive repair left me with a watch that has an important limitation it didn't have before. Four stars for the shop and the service, but probably closer to three stars for how I feel about the end result.
