There was a older yt tall guy there listening to the conversation saying it's company policy that we need the physical card I went to get the card out of my car but before that the man said "and not the card you found out in the parking lot" I brung my physical card in to finish my purchase they didn't even check my id to match it to my card so I didn't see no purpose of them saying thay. The guy running this place is very dishonest. I brought him some gold jewelry to sell at an agreed…read moreupon rate (80% of spot price). He weighed my gold and offered me a dollar amount, and when I back calculated that amount to verify his formula was correct, I noticed he actually skimmed $5 off the price per gram (reducing the payout rate to 75% of spot), claiming some BS that it's an industry standard to assume the gold's purity is actually lower than the stamped karat weight states. Not only did he take it upon himself to lower his payout rate after we agreed on the 80%, he lied to my face when I called him out about it. I ended up selling to him because I didn't know better and believed his lie. Since then, I went to a wholesale gold buyer who not only offered me 90% of spot, he didn't skim or feed me the BS purity lie! FWIW I've filed ethics complaints with multiple agencies about Klein Jewelry based on my experience, and I recommend you stay away if you expect a fair transaction.
