This is our go-to spot for good ramen in Killeen. We've tried different variations--from grilled to fried chicken, to pork. You can go with one of their menu items or create your own. I prefer to create my own. The restaurant fills your order quickly and the food is still hot by the time we get home. I appreciate that the items come separately so you can assemble your bowl when you're ready. Is it just me or are the portions for more than one person? I can never finish my food in one sitting. Horrible restaurant! This is the worst raman restaurant I have ever been too. And the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. Period. I ordered the taro boba tea, and the tea came without any ice at all. Fine. But it was lacking of flavor, and most importantly, some of the boba was hard and inedible, while some was soft. Bottom line: worst boba tea, I have ever had in my life. Period! Also my wife and I tried the spicy Minso ramen. I didn't like it. Tasted cheap. I have had better. The chicken chatsu was my favorite food I ordered, however it was overly covered in mayo and sauce. A lot. Made me feel sick eating it due to the overuse of mayo. For service, minimal. I paid for my food upfront, and tipped upfront. Was never checked on during the meal. I didn't like how all the food came to our table in to go containers. Very poor presentation. Employees just stand around looking at their phones. I will never come back to this disgusting and horrible restaurant. I paid over $50 for a disgusting meal! Good but not great. The restaurant was pretty empty when my husband and I went. Large murals from the Naruto anime graced the walls. We were greeted immediately and told to grab a seat anywhere. There were ten ramen flavors, but this was the first time in a LONG time we had seen so many add-ins. My husband chose the Spicy Miso, and I went for the Chasu Ramen with a side of kimchi. Everything was brought to our table in to-go containers, which we didn't mind but weren't expecting. We assembled our ramen bowls accordingly and dug in. My husband's Spicy Miso broth was not spicy, so he said his ramen bowl was okay. My Chashu broth had a good depth of flavor. The chashu was a little dry but tasted good. The eggs were my second favorite part. The bamboo wasn't fresh, but we were most disappointed in the kimchi. The kimchi tasted like a powdered mix was used instead of the typical spices; it was gritty in texture and not spicy. I think improvements could be made to the quality of ingredients, but the service was incredibly kind. We might eat here again, we'll see. read more

I really like this spot! It was my first time trying ramen and I was really impressed. Very flavorful and it's most definitely a good portion size. Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be a bit challenging but with patience you are sure to get a spot. My only hiccup is the waste that's created by everything being served in the to go bowls and cups. Our first time and definitely will not be our last. The flavors had a healthy balance of savory and delightful. Noodles were not soggy just the perfect texture for noodles. The pork/shrimp Shumai (not pictured) reminded me of Hawaii pork hash with its rich flavors the dipping sauce for it was "chefs kiss". Food, service, and ambiance were all great! My first time at this ramen shop, Naruto themed, very cute. They have a good selection on the menu, it's not overwhelming like some places. I decided to try the chicken Katsu curry and I was NOT disappointed! Everything was very fresh, great noodles and the broth was the traditional golden curry flavor for Katsu. The chicken was thin and super crispy, flavorful as well. A very very filling meal, I could barely eat half! I've eaten hear a number of times and it's usually dine in. Today I placed an order for pick up, hadn't been gone 5 minutes and noticed part of my order was missing. I turned around to go back for what was missing. The cashier GUY claimed he bagged the order himself and he put the missing item in the bag. He did not! Then went on to say he was expecting to see a bag that wasn't disturbed, well how in the hell would I know something was missing if I didn't disturb the bag. I was initially excited to come to this place, solely because I am an absolute huge naruto fan. I have a sleeve on my arm and even showed it to the cashier when I ordered my ramen. Upon walking in, I was hit by the fact that it was hot in the restaurant, like an uncomfortable hot. I figured that maybe it was just from me being outside and that it would cool down as I sat down and waited for the food. Sadly that didn't change at all and while I was eating my food, sweat was falling from my face onto the soup. When I received my food, I don't know why I was expecting a nice bowl and chopsticks, but when I was served a to-go bag, it was a huge letdown. The soup and pork bun was honestly below average or mediocre at best. There was nothing about the restaurant at all that really wowed me, maybe the art, but even then the rest of the restaurant was pretty bland. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and level of spiciness is a 6/10 not bad, it comes with a good amount of toppings,chashu, bean sprouts, seaweed, corn and egg.The chashu was pretty good! Decent amount of noodles as well, as for the broth it needs a little bit more of thickness but was good overall Service was good but we came to dine in and received our food in containers to go, I'm guessing they're still looking for a server to hire but not a big deal. 1st off, bless this place for being open on Christmas Day. The salmon donburi bowl was really good until a piece of plastic entered the room. Thought it was a bone and no big deal it's fish, it'll happen. But nope thought it was from my bowl being broken or something but you can see it was intact. I thought a server would meet me at the table to take my order. I waited a while for a server but the man said I gotta order at the counter. I was NOT told this in the first place, otherwise I wouldn't have waited the extra 17 minutes to place my order. Second: The man asked if it was "for here or to go?" I said " For here please." When the food came out, they were ALL in To-Go containers and bagged like I was taking them To-Go. I informed the man "Oh I said it was for here". The man said "they all come out like this." And proceeded to un-bag and place the containers on the table for me. 'Why ask if it's for here or to-go if you're just going to bag them all any way?', I thought to myself . Lastly: My order was the seafood ramen. I am NOT a fan of what they served. The noodles seemed to be like the ones we buy in packs from the grocery store. I asked for spicy, it was NOT AT ALL spicy. I will give it another chance based on the ramen noodles but not the dumpling one. Red flag #1 All our meals just looked sad, like the proportions were not all that big or even decent sized. Food tasted just okay... literally tasted like the 60 cent ramen noodle packets at the grocery stores but they added a little bit of vegetables and pork to it and that was it. We drove from out of town (1 hr away) to come here. At first glance I was a bit skeptical. It's tucked away in a little plaza and signage was really tiny. It had a small parking lot, but wasn't busy so parking wasn't an issue. I was immediately underwhelmed walking in. It was practically empty, the lighting was not great, there was no decor really, other than the Naruto themed murals painted on either side of the place which were cool, but that was the extent of the "Naruto" theme. The lady at the counter was kind, told us to pick our own seats, handed us some menus and let us know to order at the counter when we were ready. We ordered spicy miso ramen, chicken fried rice, plain ramen with chicken, gyoza, and spring rolls + 3 drinks. I think the price point was pretty good as the portions were decent (we took some home). We ate our meals, almost whispering to which was a bit uncomfortable, but there was some soft music playing to sort break the silence. After a while it did start to pick up and became more lively with people filling the place. Overall The ambience was just okay. I've only been here for Ramen and the Ramen is really good in my opinion. Seeing as it's the only one in Killeen also. The service is great and the environment is nice. Food comes in a to go bag already. So you have the option of sitting down and eating there or packing it back up and you're on your way. Not too much parking. It's kind of a small spot but that's to be expected seeing as it's new and just started up. So it's better to ride with someone to save on taking up to many parking spots if possible. The to-go style ramen is good; in comparison to many similar restaurants. However, the price, from the perspective of quality, is not fitting. There are plenty of ramen places that do it so much better. It's nice they brought ramen to Killeen. It's not the most bang for your buck. Compare to Ramen Tatsuya it's night and day.
