My home is a rental property and Dave remembered me from the previous work he did. He really looked after my interests and sent me photos from the initial walk, right through the day of work. Dave came out within about 2 hours of my first phone call on Monday, sent me pics of all everything I needed done. I needed the Pine removed, and my other trees trimmed as the limbs were all growing onto the roof. I received photos along the way, the team is professional, they use professional equipment, and sent me the document I needed for the HOA to take the tree down as an emergency. As they have arborist's on staff the letter is acceptable to the state for the emergency removal requirements. Dave and his crew are really great, really friendly! Office is great as well.

Instead, I was told that I could choose another company if I did not like the price. As a customer, I believe it is reasonable to ask questions when there is a substantial price difference. I understand that every company prices their work differently and that quality work has value. However, transparency and professionalism are also important parts of customer service. Providing a clear explanation of labor, equipment, disposal, and other costs would have helped me make an informed decision. Ultimately, I decided not to move forward because I was not comfortable with the lack of clarity surrounding the quote. He was right on time and his estimate was fair and reasonable and he and his team of 6 were able to do the work of removing a tree, cutting large branches all along our back fence line that caused overhang of the house. They did great work on our palms which had been enveloped in wild branches. When they were done, they cleaned all the debris and took it away: not even a tiny branch was left. J & B have the equipment that allows them to work smart and safely. Watching them reminded me of an ant colony, they were synchronized and although it was a very hot day, they didn't stop.
