I had booked us for two nights but for some reason only one night was showing. The manager jumped on it and made the appropriate changes immediately. Stone, Melinda, Jason and Jslyn were great. Every question answered no matter how silly and they even made me a new key when I had to go back to the room after checkout to retrieve my coffee. The consigner Rina grabbed our luggage cart and took us to our room. She told us about all the local restaurants what to expect with the food and service and the spa services. When I returned to my room to get my coffee the key did not work. the housekeeper cleaning the room across the hall opened the door for me. Brianna in the coffee shop was making me an Americano that I asked for when I realized I had asked for the wrong thing, I just wanted regular coffee. In the middle of making the order she switched to making the regular coffee, no grumbling or body language that indicated irritation just a smile. The most meaningful thing happened at the pool. I was up early writing and had pulled out a very heavy chair to prop my feet on. When leaving I started to put it back. A little old lady Miss Anderson put her hand up to stop me, when I protested she smiled and said no you go on I got this. Rusty Wallace is the general manager of this property and I cannot imagine a better boss because the proof is in his staff. if you ever have a chance to stay here do it. it is worth every penny. Try to get a room with river view…read more Important to know that if driving the best place to park is across the street at the Houston Garage, $10.00 for 24 hours vs valet parking at a he actual hotel. The check in people are nice and welcoming and if you join the loyalty program you get 1 free drink ticket which is nice. Breakfast is a bit expensive but so is everything on the river so eat at the restaurant which has brunch till 3pm. Our room included 2 FREE bottles of water which was nice. Try to visit the bar in the evening and meet KD, great bartender that treats all his customers as they are the only people there. KD made are last night at the Omni truly enjoyable. Great place for some bourbon pours. If you are lucky you will meet Josh the assistant food & beverage director. Josh made our anniversary evening special with a slice of dessert...thanks Josh, thanks KD for making our anniversary trip a special occasion to talk about. This hotel is loaded with history and great people that welcome guests in true SA hospitality!

Staff at hotel is top notch and goes out of their way to welcome you. Grounds are beautiful , room carries same visual appeal as hotel, and is comfortable. Most hotels don't provide balconies anymore- this one does and mine looked out to lovely courtyard towards the pool. Zero complaints and would choose this hotel vs one right on the Riverwalk ( river adjacent ). A++++++ hotel!!

My flight arrived around noon, and I was able to check in early, which I truly appreciated after traveling. The entire checkin process was easy, efficient, and welcoming. My room is gorgeous clean, comfortable, functional, and beautiful. The hotel itself is in a great location with convenient access to the River Walk, and I was even impressed that the hotel offered transportation to get us there. The downstairs bar and décor are beautiful, and I've enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Everything about the property feels inviting and well thought out. What has impressed me most, however, is the customer service. Rick and Michael represent hospitality at its best. They made an excellent first impression and set the tone for my stay. I'm extremely happy that I chose the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk for this trip and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of my week here. On the second night though, after room service finished cleaning, we came into the room and right in between the beds was a dirty plastic glove (at least I hope that's what it was). I had to call a staff member to clean it up. He said it would be escalated but I never heard back. Aside from that, the food was also amazing and the staff was pleasant.

We had a wonderful brunch at The Moon's Daughter, enjoyed relaxing by the pool at night, and loved the complimentary car service within a 3-mile radius. Such a convenient touch! We also booked a couples massage at the spa. The massages themselves were great, but I found the spa ambience underwhelming. I personally love a darker, more serene spa atmosphere, and the bathrooms felt dated. A little refreshing and rearranging would really help the spa match the beautiful energy of the hotel. It definitely needs a fresh paint and someone to come and make it feel more like a spa and less like a basic shop. Overall, our stay was fantastic. The beds were comfy but unfortunately the pillows were awful and hurt my neck. I didn't love the size of the room. It felt smaller than any other regular hotel room I've stayed in. They used most of the space for the large bathroom. That was the biggest downfall. It's a very high end boutique hotel so unfortunately the price doesn't match the size you get. I will visit again for TMD but probably won't stay another night there.

Overall on my list perhaps a bit spendy but by far it's a bargain compared to other hotels. Especially when you're allergic to places like La Quinta.

Nick at the record place was nice and helpful. The restaurant staff offered great service as well although they were always out of something. The fitness room was a great space to keep your workout routine while traveling. Great location! Walking distance to Riverwalk.

There is some wear to the building and floor hallways are not as colorful as their lobby. But the staff is spectacular, and will honor of their way to assist will everything.
