We've never eating in the restaurant and we've only gotten food delivered but it's always been great!

The wonton soup is great! Good menu selection and price is reasonable. Definitely worth a try.

Came here for lunch after doing run girl half marathon. The decor is quite nice, even though they have a lot of light bulbs that are burned out. Staff is nice. The orange chicken was really really good. The whole menu looked pretty good. They have roasted duck! And they bring out the Thai iced tea in a beer mug haha. Edit 6/19/18 Took my best friend to the second location over off of 1960 just west of 45. As far as the interior Decor, The Humble location appears to be a bit more fancy and the Humble location seems to have a tad bit better service with the waiter coming around every so often to see how we were doing. The orange chicken at both locations is really good and the Thai Iced Teas, are still very good even though the 1960 location doesn't serve them in a beer mug. The 1960 location is located in a strip center and kind of the ghetto part of 1960 but don't let that fool you, the inside is nice and clean and quiet. I'd go to the Humble location if you're out on a date due to the location and the interior decor. Hopefully they got all the light bulbs replaced. read more

Traveled from South Padre Island to Houston then to Tulsa. Stayed in a local hotel while an arctic blast winter storm moved through Texas. Wanted to try local Thai food. Found Nara Thai-Humble and enjoyed absolutely delicious food. Had a scrumptious Crab Angel as an appetizer. Entrees ordered: Beef broccoli and spicy Pad Ka Prao ground beef. Food quality was excellent and authentic Thai cuisine. Every item was uniquely seasoned and perfectly cooked. Wait staff was friendly, professional and provided genuine attentive service. The ambiance of the restaurant is contemporary Thai chic. Great choice for authentic Thai food in a nice restaurant setting that offers very good value for the money. read more

Best Thai food in Humble we've been coming for over 2 years best place ever. I always get the shrimp volcano it's my favorite I order it all the time but today I actually had the pineapple seafood medley curry and it was delicious no need to add extra hot sauce. I love that it's cooked with almond milk great for lactose intolerance folks. You can order your food mild, medium, or spicy. The crispy catfish was crunchy the flavor is scrumptious one of our next favorite plates. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here but if you prefer no spicy make sure just not to order spice . I recommend this place to everyone a must go spot at least once a week. read more

Stopped here on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent. Thai Beef Salad - meat cooked perfectly and flavor was on point. Crab fried rice was A+ !! Real crab and tons of it. We also had hot sake which was perfect. Huge portions and all of this for under 40 bucks!! read more

The food is really good, is well priced and really close to home. The yellow curry is the best I've ever had.

Something happened to this place, change of ownership or management. Its gone from great Thai food to bad. The restaurant now stinks to high heaven of fermented seaweed. I jad the red curry and it was good, but the orange chicken was terrible and the sweet and sour chicken was soaked in a tomato like sauce. We also had a seafood salad with squid, shrimp and mussles all if which was as chevy as a shoe sole. Not a good experience. read more

Delicious! I've been wanting to try Nara Thai for over a year now and am happy that we finally did! We ordered the medium spicy basil chicken fried rice, spicy green curry chicken and teriyaki chicken. The fried rice is addicting! I can see myself eating this often, the egg on top was a delicious addition. The teriyaki chicken was a tad dry, they are cooked tenders but still tasty. The price of what we ordered was around $10-11/dish and worth it. We will definitely be returning for more fried rice AND to try other dishes. read more

Been here only a couple of times. The first time I really didnt like my food much. So it took me a while to go back and give it another try. Second time was MUCH better. Staff is very friendly they give out HUGE portions, so I suggest you go when you are really hungry. I had to say since leaving New York and living in Texas, I found my new Thai Resturant place is vibrant with ikea furniture :-). I ordered shrimp pineapple fried rice was Very delicious but I'd say a bit over portioned my plate could of fed 2 people, shrimps in the rice was well cooked and not fishy. Love the Thai ice tea some the best I've had I recommend having Thai ice tea with your meal. I'd say it's a bit pricey but worth it. read more

This is a gem hidden in the 'burbs! My parents were staying near the airport, and I was meeting them for dinner. I really wanted to avoid all the chain restaurants in the area. Using Yelp, I found this place and HAD to try it because I love Thai food, and it's named Nara, and my cat is named Nara! In addition to being my cat's namesake, the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered quite a few dishes to try so I could have plenty of leftover to take home. We started with the Fresh Spring rolls. These were served with a sweet/sour sauce. I prefer peanut sauce with them, and I voiced this and a waitress overheard and offered some, which was really nice. These were good and fresh. Not the best I've had because they have cucumber in them, and I dislike that. For our entrees, we got Anothai Fried Rice, Pad Thai with chicken, Roasted Duck Red Curry and Volcano Shrimp. The fried rice was very good and had HUGE chunks of meat in it. It was topped with roasted cashews, which added a really nice nutty, toasted crunch. (See picture) The Pad Thai was also delicious and VERY spicy just like I requested. The portion of noodles was HUGE, I ate about 1/3 that night, and had more than enough for my lunch the next day. The Roasted Duck curry was very good as well. The duck was well cooked, and not stringy. The coconut milk cut some of the greasy, gaminess that you might expect with duck. This dish was rich and savory and full of fresh basil and bamboo. My favorite dish was the Volcano Shrimp. This was served in a bowl made from tin foil and was bubbling (just like a Volcano) when it arrived. The broth was somewhat sweet and complemented the cabbage and shrimp very well. It's one of the more expensive dishes on the menu, but well worth it. Overall, big portions, good service, nice clean dining room, and I also think it's pretty inexpensive considering the portion sizes and high-quality ingredients. When I ordered take-out from this place I was going off of the euphoria of having eaten at The Mango Tree in NW Houston. Ordering the Yellow Curry, I found that they give you a lot of food, which is good. I didn't like that the fish sauce used in the curry was very overwhelming. The aroma stayed in my house for an entire week. Maybe it's me. I don't know. The Mango Tree spoiled me with its Yellow Curry Fried Rice and it wasn't as strong and pungent as what I had from this place. All-in-all, I didn't have a bad experience, just unexpected. Wow. This was unexpected. Great Thai food in Humble. I had the Tom Yum Kung which was spicy and delicious and had four huge shrimp in it. Next I had Som Tum (Papaya Salad). This was delicious as well and came with two unexpected grilled shrimp. Warning: if you ask for Thai spicy they make it that way! My only complaint would be that they did not have plain Sticky Rice. Other than that, this is on par with the best Thai in Houston. The staff was super nice as well. If I ever come back to Humble, you will find me here, trying the rest of the menu. read more

I was a little unhappy with waiting over 30 minutes to get my food. Especially since there were not very many people in the restaurant. However, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. As soon as I tasted my Chicken Pad Thai I completely forgot about the wait. It was absolutely delicious. My aunt and uncle got the chicken fried rice and couldn't stop saying "I absolutely love the flavoring! It's so great!" Needless to say, this place is a must! Ordered pad Thai, yellow curry, fresh rolls, and pineapple fried rice via uber eats. The pineapple fried rice was the only decent dish. The pad Thai was ordered zero spice but came extremely spicy to the point my wife couldn't eat it. The yellow curry was bland and tasted of just coconut milk. And the fresh rolls had zero taste unless covered in dipping sauce. Overall extremely disappointed. Will not be ordering out from here again. read more

I tried their Shrimp Pineapple Curry yesterday and I was very impressed! It was full of flavor, it definitely has a kick of curry spices and the pineapple adds the sweetness to the whole dish. It works, completely! My only complain was that the dish wasn't as thick as I expected it to be but regardless, the flavor was great! Usually the food here is great. I always get the Thai Cashew Nut with chicken and my husband always gets the Java Fried Rice. The last 2 times we were here it was sub par. The last time they ran out of chicken! We had to wait for them to get back from the store and then had to rush to eat it because we were running out of time. Tonight they brought out my husband's food regular instead of spicy and mine spicy instead of regular. I sent mine back because it was too spicy for me. When they brought it back the chicken was off. It almost seemed like it was freezer burned. I didn't complain anymore, just ate around the yucky pieces. I hope they get thier problems ironed out. We decided to get take out. Quick and easy minimal contact pickup. We got chicken pad Thai, shrimp green curry, duck red curry, tofu pad see ew tofu and beef pad see ew. The curries were creamy and balanced. Our toddler loved the pad see ew so much that she finished her plate and ate all mine! This was a perfect takeout dinner (with enough for leftovers!).
