This place is the STARBUCKS for hookah. They use all Starbuzz hookahs with phunnel bowls.. Ingredients for a great, smooth hookah session. We opted for the grape mint and even after an hour of smoking, it didn't taste burnt at all. Service was great. The hookah/coal guy was hauling butt and pushing hookahs out quickly too. My friends and I always opt for Nara's spicy fries (thank me later) and a paan kiwi coconut hookah in an orange head . I'm not sure what the other reviews are referring to about "bad service, bad food" etc. I come here on a weekly basis and finally decided to write a review, this place is an excellent hookah spot. The Hookah here is amazing! We always get Pawn rusk with orange, on a orange head. This is my favorite and I highly recommend this flavor, now for the food. Food here is great especially for all my halal folks out there. Try the beef sliders (these are not on the menu) they are legit, and the mixed fajita plate is delicious as well. The owner here is Jason, and he is awesome. If you have any problems ask for him, he will go out of his way to make your experience great. This has got to be the largest hookah cafe in Houston. 80% of the people there were smoking and the parking lot was jammed on a Friday night. Parking does get a little chaotic. I don't smoke a hookah, but the food and service were fabulous. I had a falafel sandwich and Greek salad. Even though they were almost full they sat me immediately and took my order within a few minutes. When the head waiter noticed that I was looking toward the beverage display, he immediately sent a waiter to my table. This has been one of my favorite low key, neighborhood/community hookah place that offers good food at a very good price and some of the best Hookah I've had on a consistent basis. The staff is both friendly and on top of it, and can even guide you to a flavor that you would've never tried. Got one plate from the buffet, they NEVER announced that they where going to be closing it. All of a sudden I turn around and see them taking away the buffet and I still haven't finished my plate. Later an employee comes up to me and tells me if I ate from it. I say yes. So I go to pay my bill and the employee charges me $28 for that single plate! I tell her that I got one plate and she says she couldn't do anything about it, like really you couldn't charge me for a dink or a hookah, something that was was less than what I took from them. Horrible service! Food made me throw up after eating halfway. I complained to the waitress and she brought in the manager who was extremely rude and unapologetic and tried to convince me in a very accusatory tone there was nothing wrong with my food because he "tried my other half of the sandwich". After 10 mins of going back and forth I told him I've seen Gordon Ramsey's show and I know what goes on in the kitchen and he just stared at my face and then said he'll take care of the bill. about last year this place went under new ownership and since then it has become an awesome chill spot. the food is absolutely amazing, aside from old menu they have many items that are not on menu which you can ask for from fajitas, pizza, to famous Jason's bowl which is modern take on chicken and rice. The hookah is probably hands down the best in town with many flavors, environment is open and casual, place looks really nice after renovation. Worst experience ever, i mean look at their menu!!! Ive asked the waiter for a food menu and he brought me a booklet from world war 1. There's no way you can read whats on the menu. Half of it is ripped off, has water stains all over, and the font is red on a black background! Not to mention it was in two pieces. Small things like that will give you a bigger and more clear image of what kind of place is this or how they function their internal kitchen. I have ordered the 1/2 grilled chicken, after waiting for 30 mins the waiter did bring me the chicken with 2 sides of hummus and baba ghanough, the dips were actually very good. But the chicken is deep fried-not grilled as mentioned on the menu. I was very disappointed and asked to replace it with grilled chicken as its mentioned on the menu (i had to turn on my flashlight to read the description).
