Which make great to eat them in the go, and shareables. -1 I tried the hookah and it took the changing of the Tips to find one that was smooth or didn't have a crack in the tube to have a smooth drag. Very chill/laid back vibe. There was good music, food and they serve hookah as well! The servers were great and made sure we were taken care of. The food did not take long at all. One star because Mr. Khalid a my server did not give me the receipt, but he made me sign the credit card machine so I did when I looked at the bill. I was surprised it was not what it is so we ask him some question and still not satisfied one I gave him my credit card, but he had already put the tip on it and I signed On the machine, I asked him for the receipt. He said he has text me as said can you give me a physical receipt so I can look at it? I was shocked. He added a tip but did not tell me. so I added some more then this is very funny. I go too many restaurants and every restaurant I order a cup of water with lemon they never charge me or they never charge to anyone here I was charged for a cup of hot water with lemon two dollars each and then they charge me tax on gratuity that was the item that we bought Jason Ball. It was $16 on the menu but he charged me $21. I called this morning and asked for the manager, but they said manager are going to come in the evening, so I said what's your name And she said I don't know the name. There are many all of them our manager it's kind of hanky-panky business so please check your receipt and don't tip because they tip before they give you the receipt. Also, when they make your sign don't sign as for the paper ask for the paper receipt. Food is good. Very disturbing experience at Nara Cafe Restaurant. One of the managers, named Samir (or a similar name), appeared to be under the influence and behaved in a very inappropriate way toward my daughter. This made our family feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. This kind of behavior from management is completely unacceptable. Because of this incident, we will never come back to this place again. Management seriously needs to address this issue immediately. read more

Nara is located on the more Western portion of Houston and I wanted to give it a try after some friends recommended it and boy was I glad I did. I loved that they had indoor and outdoor seating. The server is always nice and greeting. I won't speak much about attentiveness because she's the only one whom I ever see serving the entire restaurant so hats off to her for holding the store down! Food is always good when I go so no complaints there. We typically opt to pair the food with the hookah and it hits every time. Hookah blows nicely and the flavors are present. I pad this place all the time and never stopped in. Finally decided to try a new place and Nara was it! During the day it's pretty chill and ebs throughout the evening with people playing cards doing work and enjoying company. The tea was great and glad they had decaf options bc of the time off day. This hookah lounge is the only place I am willing to smell hookah for the sake of the food, drinks, and desserts. Their mint lemonade is the texture of a slushy, it is my go to drink whenever I'm there. Their chai pot is good, compared to other chais I've had in the general Houston area this one has a stronger tea flavor. As for food, I usually get the philly cheesesteak-look, I know we live in Texas and I'm eating a cheesesteak at a Mediterranean hookah bar. It hits the spot and it automatically comes with fries. I highly recommend it if you're craving something close to a burger but you don't want a burger. Their kenafa is made to order, so the wait can range from 10-20 minutes. But it is 100% worth the wait. I order it every time I'm there. Tips are automatically included and there are no cups of water, only water bottles.
