I'd give the place a 3.5 star rating. I ordered their Lamb Beef Doner Wrap and throughly enjoyed it. However, my bf got their Grilled Kofte Plate and was just ok. We've had better kofte at other places, so wouldn't recommend getting this here. On the other hand, their lamb & beef wrap was flavorful and satisfied my craving of something a little healthier to eat.
One extra star because that girl gave great service! I got the chicken rice plate and it was a big portion of rice, 4 scoops, I counted. Ok amount of meat, problem it's super dry chicken. Thank god for the white dill sauce. I literally had to use 4 containers to add flavor and cut the dryness in order to eat it. It wasn't so bad I needed to throw it away l, but I don't think I'll be back. Price:$20 with tip tax
I'd say overall 3.5-4 stars. Not bad for food court food. Had chicken combo plate w baba ganoush, hummus, pita, chk over rice, salad, dolma. $17.99. Enough for 1 person for 1 meal. Not enough to share. Not sure if we'd go back, felt like small portion for price.
We ordered a börek combo plate, a potato gözleme, two Cokes, and a beef döner. As for the food, it was honestly the stalest börek I have ever eaten in my life. The smell was disgusting and made me nauseous. The only thing we liked on the plates was the salad, and I basically paid $40 today just to eat a salad. The moldy smell from the börek had even soaked into the pita bread. As for the döner, honestly, it was good. However, the employee was rude. The Coke wasn't cold, so they told us they would give us a cup with ice. The cup they gave us was barely bigger than a small sauce container. When I asked for a bigger cup, they said they didn't have any. I could clearly see that they had bigger cups, so I asked again and even said I was willing to pay extra if necessary. Even though they clearly didn't want to give me one, I eventually got a bigger cup, but the whole situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable. There were three of us, but they only gave us two forks. We were even hesitant to ask for another fork because we had already had an issue just getting a proper-sized cup.
The food here is great, the portion sizes are filling and the price is fair for the amount you get. The girl working here was friendly and took my order promptly. The other dishes are also great!
Stonestown has several exceptional food options and we were hoping Nar would be a good addition to that list -however, our chicken doner wrap was very underwhelming and did not live up to the Stonestown standard. The wrap itself was very small given the price and the chicken was largely unseasoned and lacking in flavor. Definitely wish it came with some sauce options to enhance the flavor. Hope they revamp their menu and better their offerings soon!

Stonestown has grown into a global food destination, and Nar Döner and Grill in the food court offers authentic Turkish eats. The highlight was, of course, the döner, a spiced lamb-beef mixture shaved from a rotating spit with plenty of fatty, crispy edges. This was served in a generous portion on top of rice, along with pita bread slices and a refreshing mixed salad of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, red cabbage, red onions, and pickles. For those not feeling meaty, the Vegetarian Combo Plate came with a selection of vegetarian bites including hummus, baba ghanoush, two dolmas, salad, pita bread, and a borek (flaky rolled pastry stuffed with spicy potato). Most of the components were tasty (though I wish there were more hummus and baba ghanoush, which came in laughably small portions), but the borek was disappointingly dry and not the least bit crispy. Overall, this was a decent choice in Stonestown's food court, though not the best Turkish food I've had.

They also put together my order very quickly, in about 5-7 minutes after I ordered! And there were about 2 people ahead of me who were served first Definitely recommend trying this spot!
My family loves Nar Döner! I usually order for to go. The employees nice and friendly. Their beef döner plate is super tasty and always hits the spot. The portion is big enough for one person, and everything comes fresh and warm. We go back all the time!
I decided to check them out because they are pretty well-rated on Yelp. When I arrived, I ordered the spinach and cheese gozleme which is a type of flatbread, and according to their menu which is on some screens that rotate the images periodically, it's one of their more popular items. They have a couple other vegetarian gozleme options as well as selling falafel wraps and plates. They also have a pretty reasonably priced combo deal you can get which includes a main dish, a drink, and one of two appetizer options. I really liked it a lot, it came with not only the gozleme itself but also a yogurt-based sauce and some salad including lettuce, carrots, red/purple cabbage. I thought the salad was just alright. The gozleme had cheese that is strong and pungent in a good way and was overall quite flavorful and juicy. The sauce is also pretty good, it makes for a nice "cool" and refreshing flavor if you combine it with the gozleme. Overall, I'd say the food is reasonably priced and I would be down to eat here again.
I have been looking at Nar Döner N Grill several times, especially when it replaced Tokyo Express. I never doubt the new Turkish kiosk since it had the fewest customers in Stones town food court. Many other kiosks such as Panda Express, Tang Bar, and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar commanded a lot of attention these days. One time, Blaze Pizza had a very long, snakelike line since most people love pizza! Looks like Nar Döner N Grill needs a lot of attention to keep its business running. For lunch, I only had a bowl of salad and a short cup of lentil soup, each with its lemon wedges. Love how colorful my salad bowl was, from red cabbage strips to carrot strips. The quality from the ground up had never failed me since everything looked and tasted fresh. The soup had a grainy texture from crushed lentils; perhaps it's lighter than the split pea soup. Wish I wanted to try Gözleme, but there's no need. Looked like a pair of quesadillas if I were to order spinach and cheese. Savory rolls? Nah, another time. I jumped to the Turkish delight (a chewy rose cube) followed by the can of kombucha. Another women owned business with a Middle Eastern flare. I'd say you ought to try dining at Nar Döner N Grill at least once. That place still looked amazing with cultural designs. Even though Turkey is still on a road to recovery, it's best to use the lunchtime for the Turkish eatery like Nar Döner.

Usual go-to is the SALMON PLATE. Tried the LAMB & BEEF DONER PLATE, lamb & beef Doner over fluffy rice pilaf, side green salad, pita bread and herbal green sauce. The lamb and beef was delicious and well-seasoned, though plentiful, you do just wish there was more anyway - Greedy! Accompanied by the hot, fluffy rice, green salad w/drizzle of the herby sauce. Would definitely order again. The DONER WRAPS in lamb, beef or chicken is quite popular. I'll be back to try the DONER WRAPS and more of a nice variety of BAKLAVA and TURKISH SWEETS! Served piping hot, the Doner plates here are a good sized meal for most anyone! I'm usually biased for chicken as that's a bit healthier than beef or lamb, but for once I decided to try just a little of the others.. But to stay on the good side of healthy, I requested less beef and lamb for more chicken, which was happily accommodated. Between then three meats, I enjoyed the chicken the best. Lots of basmati rice underneath. The side salad was a moist accompaniment to the drier beef and lamb . The salad was zesty with salad dressing served on the side in a little cup. All said, the meats were fresh but bland in flavor. Pro tip: don't ask for a free cup of water here. They won't do that. Boo.. decent hot and fresh food, but I prefer other Mediterranean styles as they tend to be more flavorful to me. Typical shopping mall food court ambiance if you can call it that.. echoey acoustics but reasonable seating all around. read more

Great food and great location, convenient and accessible at the mall, and the food was delicious, we had ground beef gozleme, berlin wraps and combo plate, couldn't believe how fresh and delicious the doner was on a weekday! Definitely worth the trip even if you don't need to shop! read more

It was not busy so I tried it and I was super happy because it was a good choice. Lots of choices. I really enjoyed the platter. There was only one person there but it was really great. Hopefully people can discover it and try it. I think you will find it very delicious. read more

At Stonestown around lunch time and everyone was craving different things. Kiddo and I decided on Nar Doner N Grill. He went with the Lamb and Beef plate while I went with the salad. Must say, the portions were pretty generous and the meat was flavorful. I quite enjoyed my salad and kiddo finished off his meal as well. Only wished they offered a combo for all dishes and not just the wraps. However, I'd return for their food again. read more
This place was definitely not the first or second choice for me at Stonestown but it shall become as such. I usually go to Rooster and Rice or Taiwan Street Food for a quick bite, just wasn't feeling it this round. I've circled the food court a few times and finally settled for a doner plate, it was a good choice. My "plate" could barely close the container lid, it has a small salad with a light vinaigrette, some pickled veggies, got a bunch of sliced gyro meats, some pita bread, over the rice pilaf. For 15 bucks, this was 2 meals worth. I tried to not finish everything at once, especially the rice, it was so soft and flavorful. The worst part of the plate was the pita bread, it was way too dry and hard, the texture was more like some makeshift pita chip that was too thick. Overall, I'd buy this again. This whole food court has gotten so much better now. Although the shop was run by 2 people, the wait wasn't bad at all, I've spent more time thinking of what to get and where to eat than to wait for my food. I'll probably get this again the next time I'm at this mall. Good bang for the buck and not to give up on taste as much. read more

3.5 STARS Another week, and another new sushi resto... Or, boba shop opening up. No shade as I love both things but I'm getting tired of the same 'ol things opening up in the city. So, when I saw that newly opened Nar Döner & Grill serves Gözleme, a Turkish (Anatolian) stuffed flatbread, I'm so there! Nar Döner & Grill took over the Bake N Grill space at the Stonestown food court (second level). They're offering takeout and delivery via 3rd party apps. M E N U * Turkish Wraps ($9.25-$10.50), Plates ($13.95-$14.50), and Gözleme ($8.95-$10.95). --Proteins: Lamb & Beef Döner, Chicken Döner, Combo Döner, Köfte (Turkish burger), or Falafel. * Dessert: Baklava ($6.95) F O O D * Gözleme w/ ground beef ($10.95): https://tinyurl.com/y4uwxhjw --includes cheese by default --includes salad + pickled purple cabbage A popular street food in Turkey, the Gözleme is a thin flatbread filled with various savory fillings. Reminds me of Northern Chinese Jian Dong Meat Pie or a Turkish Quesadilla. This is one of two places that serves it in the city (the other is SF Breakfast Place in Nob Hill). The Gözleme had great flavor from the spiced ground beef with caramelized onions and peppers. Similar to mozzarella, the kasseri cheese was melty and stretchy. Fat = flavor. But, the Gözleme was hella greasy. I had to get a stack of napkins to blot the grease. I provided feedback to the kind owner (?) and she said, it's the ground beef but I also think they accidentally put too much oil on the flat top which made it even greasier. The cacik (yogurt sauce) was thick and creamy with a touch of tang. Their hot sauce is creamy versus hot. The accompanying garden salad with vinaigrette was fresh and the acidic pickled purple cabbage helped to cut through the richness. Room for improvement: I hope they find a better way to pack the Gözleme. Since the pieces were stacked on top of each other, the bottom pieces were soaked in a mini pool of grease that dripped from the filling. And, this is eating it on-site at the food court. S E R V I C E Polite and gracious service. The owner offered to bring my order to the table. With no line, it took 7-8 minutes. Overall, Nar Döner & Grill is a great addition to Stonestown; good value eats and adding diversity to the current AZN centric offerings. Once they work out their kinks, they have potential to be a 5 star food stall. 3.5 stars rounded up for a small local business. read more
