Also, there was a bit of a weight when we got there, but it actually grew to almost a dozen people. They see people quickly so the turnover is pretty fast and you don't wait long. Since I was concerned about limited menu, those fears were allayed when the Waiter takes your order - he lets you know about the four or five other ones that are not on the menu that are all sounding great So we picked 'chef special' (they pick for you) and a white pizza. The service was pretty quick, and the pizza comes out right away Obviously with such high turnover, they have figured out the formula for delicious pizza. They nailed the crust as well as all the ingredients. Really delicious. The toilet facilities definitely need a lot of help. That was my only real comment about the atmosphere. It's very basic, you sit at basic tables. They seemed to all be helpful

The chef's surprise was a salami and burrata pizza, and it was top notch. We also had the Delicata Bianca, which was beautifully balanced. Nikola/Nichola was absolutely fantastic: super attentive, friendly, and radiated joy. I also found out he was a fellow Sri Lankan, and we had a good laugh about it. The folks sitting next to us were also super friendly, so we had a great time all around. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Milan :)

Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

Start with a Ricca salad which comes with tuna and fresh bufala mozzarella balls and the fritti trio. The crocche cilentano is a must-try - flavorful and crispy- but any of the fritti are great here. Service is no frills but extremely fast which we definitely appreciated. I would recommend making reservations as they start filling up literally 10 min after they open at 7:30 pm for dinner. If you are craving Neopolitan pizza and located by the Duomo, definitely make a trip here! We came back after 3.5 years for our last dinner this trip to Milan.

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.

I would give them four stars but unusual to Italian tradition, they rushed us out and I noticed they did not do this to others. Our money and patronage is just as good. Also, we were served all courses all at once. And it was not crowded and it was not close to closing time. The server also snuffed at us when we first sat down at a table for four - the place was not crowded by the way. So he forced us to sit at a table for two which is fine had he served our courses in traditional order and fashion. But he did not. Be basically shoved four plates on our table - bread, salad, pasta course one, another dish course two oh and our wine bowls. All on a tiny table for two. And he was unapologetic about it. That was absolutely ridiculous. Again the only reason I do not give this less stars is because the food was worth it but it's no excuse to be rude and treat customers in this way.
