This review is for the bar. All this hype and Hamilton ends up with bad service, bad drinks, and big city prices. Why do bars insist on putting up huge TVs all over the bar? We can't escape screens. The service is terrible. The girls behind the bar are awful. ALL of them. Every single time I go there. They make bad drinks, they act like they don't even want to be there, and you're putting them out if you order something. The bar stocks NO local liquor. With all these Montana distilleries, they can't support even ONE local gin? All the drinks incredibly expensive. VERY expensive. It's not like they have specialty drinks like Plonk either. They charge $12 for 1oz of their "top shelf" whisky! Ridiculous. This is the 8th time I tried to like this place. I won't spend any more of my time or money on them. read more

This is probably the best burger I have ever had in my life. Buns are perfect and the fact the burgers come dry and you get to pick your toppings from the bar yourself is genius! My parents live in Stevensville and this is a must stop every time I visit, usually within the first two days. The 6oz medium well is my burger of choice with cheddar and bacon. One thing about naps is that the burger is what shines. The beef is amazing and it's the flavor of the beef that makes it taste so good not a bunch of added seasonings. It's one of the best burgers you can get in this country (which translates to one of the best in the world) You pick your own fixings with a wonderful little veg bar and for those who'd like they can add mushrooms or grilled onions. I would love to give it 5 stars but sometimes the buns are a little dry but in a place with no humidity that's expected. After I sink my mouth into the first bite of the burger you are then met with some crispy and hot fresh cut French fries. Even though they ran out of bacon! I know, right?! The flavor of the burger is soooo good I could come everyday. Fries are thin and delightful. Great place to eat at! My go to is the Naps deal- 3/4 lb. burger with a hefty portion of fries and a drink. They have a little condiment stand where you can add whatever else you would like on your burger. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich is pretty darn good too. Excellent burgers with high quality beef, salads are only okay. Why go here for a salad anyway? Overall my favorite burger joint. I only have a few gripes, like the buns seem cheap and the fries are somewhat inconsistent in quality such as being undercooked. That's it though. Seemed like they keep it clean and have nice employees that will always recognize you. Love the new design of gourmet/ western type style, very cool! We always stop by this place while in Hamilton, its a must for the family. Their smallest burger is 6 oz. and its friggin huge. Love the freshness and quality of the food. Its a burger joint, but the best one in town in my opinion. Highly recommend if you are visiting in the area as locals are already aware of it!! If you live anywhere near Hamilton, MT somebody will have recommended Naps & with good reason. Most go for the Naps deal, which includes a 3/4 lb. burger, fries (option to substitute sweet potato fries), & a drink for $8.75. Their fries are usually too greasy for me & end up bothering my stomach. Additionally available are cheesesteaks, salads, & steaks. The traditional burger dressings are available. To me the fixings aren't anything gourmet & that's okay; this stop is 100% about the quality local beef. It's usually packed for dinner & because it's a smaller restaurant don't expect an intimate, quiet setting. I've had a couple of long waits, but the food quality didn't suffer from the busyness. read more

We always enjoyed heading to naps a few times a year. This new location is very nice and a big step up for naps. Always have way more burger than we can eat but it makes great leftovers. Adding the bar makes this place that much better. Still can get very crowed on the weekends. read more

Naps is the best place to eat in the area. But I am disappointed in one area. When they first opened on Main and 2nd Street the BLT was the best ever. It still is good but they changed the bread they were using taking I from the best to an average sandwich. Please make the BLT like it used to be!!! read more

I really wanted a burger when we stopped at Nap's but talked myself into a Caesar salad instead assuming I'd made a sacrifice. I didn't. The chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, dressing was delicious, lettuce was fresh, portion was large, staff was very friendly and quick. I'd say we'd be back, but we were just passing through. If we're ever around that area again, we'll be sure to stop. read more

Best burger & fries I've ever had. I think Naps is probably what Fudrucker's was like when they were just starting out. It's not fast food--all burgers are cooked to order, but it's worth the wait. When I order the $8.75 Nap's Deal (12 oz Burger, humongous batch of fries & soda), I take half the burger home for a second meal. Plus, their steaks are the best deal in the Bitterroot. For $14 you get an 8 oz sirloin, fries, salad, and mushrooms (add $2 for a 13 oz steak--enough to feed my wife and I). Ahhhhhh... Naps my good old friend, it's been quite some time since I've been able to sink my teeth into one of your huge, delicious, juicy burgers. I usually just order a burger and a drink, they have huge portions, and unless you're an obese person with no self respect, you probably won't be able to finish everything. Pro Tip: Share an order of french fries with your friend! Their menu is pretty simple, get a burger, choose some toppings, and choose how you want it cooked. They have other things if you're not into a burger, like steak, chicken, and some salads if I remember correctly. We have been to the new location multiple times and are disappointed that we are given a cheap plastic forks to eat with. Please go back to metal service ware.
