The bar side is a nice place to get a drink, a burger and watch the game of your choice. Some advice: Try the chipotle aioli on your burger or fries. Try the blue cheese on your burger. The bacon is some of the best you'll get in a restaurant, whether on a burger or on a huge BLT. You can sit down and be waited in or order at the counter and pick up your food. We chose to be waited on. The food here is always good. It's a place we eat at when in town. I had the mandarin salad with chicken (gf). My husband had the sliders with onion rings. A friend had the Cobb salad. All food items were delicious. You definitely don't walk away feeling hungry. Waited for a seat to open at the Bar area- busy on a Wednesday evening. Bartender suggested I try to find something on their Patio. No tables there either. Come back to the Bar to see her immediately seating a couple at a table that just opened up. Terrible Service. I don't think I will ever go back. Nap's is right in the middle of the downtown historic district. There's two parts, one is you order from the counter, more of a family vibe. Then there is the bar area, which is full service. They have opened a roof top area--have no idea what's up there. Famous for its burgers, which we found good but not great. Creative--we can agree on that. Lots of layers of flavor. I went to the counter , ordered my meal from the menu pasted on the wall , It was time to pay and they immediately swung the the screen around asking for a tip ! ... What am I tipping for at that point ? I was given a cup to serve myself a drink and then had to find my own table and wait for them to call my name to go back up and get my sandwich .. then proceeded to apply my own condiments , then walk back to my table and wipe it off ... afterwards I put my trash in the garbage and wiped my table ... I want to know what the heck gives them the audacity to ask for a tip ... The only thing they did was take my money and yell my name .. ! We were visiting from California, staying in Darby. Was looking for some meat, a good steak. I found it. I got the rib eye and it was amazing, very soft, flavorful, the butter garlicky top was an added perfection. The waitress we had was great, very polite and attentive. I also had the huckleberry mule, that was so delish. Vibes were on point, we were looking for something like this since everything else either sucked or closed early. I wish they had live music or even maybe bands etc. I would have given 5 stars but was a bit disappointed that there was no mashed potatoes or other sides with the steak but fries. The food portions are huge and very tasty. I don't eat burgers, all of which looked big and amazing, but I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which is likewise huge and well done. Food here is always good. They have a method of their own that makes it that way. When you're in the neighborhood, you will smell Naps Grill. It's very inviting. Naps is a nice looking restaurant in and out, it looked very welcoming and clean inside, we sat at the bar area to get full service. We ordered the huckleberry mule and it was delicious. I ended up ordering the ribeye as we were looking for a good steak in town. We had ordered the 14oz but they were out so we ended up getting the 16oz which was a few dollars more. A little disappointed that we couldn't opt for mashed potato's or a different side (as they only have simpler sides) , but the fries were okay. The steak was good and the garlic butter they put on top was great. It was very soft in the middle but a little chewy on the outer parts. I think if I was in the area I would come back here for finger foods and the ambiance more than anything. read more

It has been a while since I ate at Naps. Very disappointed with today's meal. A medium burger should not bleed. Barely cooked. When I showed the waitress my bleeding burger with a missing bite, she said, oh my god. She took the burger to the kitchen and came back ten minutes later with the same burger and fries. The burger was more throughly cooked and placed on a new bun, the fries were ten minutes colder. No we are sorry, is it OK now, no follow up. No tip. Done with Naps for now, hopefully it gets better. read more

I've read the reviews on here before going to this restaurant and I was very skeptical. Although the diet Dr. pepper fountain drink had no syrup, the other choices were okay enough. The food here is delicious, but given in a huge portion so don't expect to finish everything. The service was self order and everyone there was nice. We placed our order and when our food arrived, things were wrong. As we mentioned it to the staff, they were just lost. There was no effort to fix anything, but just a lost look in gals eyes. This has to be training issues with new employees because I can't believe how you can get 3 orders wrong. Cheese on 1/2 burger with burger cut in half to share didn't happen Order of onion rings ended up being French fries - wouldn't bring onion rings as ordered Rib-eye- the most expensive item on the menu was a sirloin. Hmmm But, aside from the many hiccups that we experienced, you can tell that this could be a great spot. The burger was very flavorful and fresh. I can't really judge the rib-eye that I ordered since I never got it. So, if you check this place out, stick to the burgers, the "rib-eye" isn't worth the $36 charge read more

I will start with the service - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I sat at the bar, and Krista was just the best. It was busy, but she was on top of everything and had such a great attitude and personality! I got the special burger/fries/drink. The burger was perfect, I added cheddar and bacon. Now... here's why it's not 5 stars... the bacon wasn't as done as it coulda, maybe shoulda been. It was chewy. I know there are people that like it that way - I am not those people... the parts that were cooked well were DELICIOUS! Very good bacon! Also, the fries weren't great.
